How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. How we score → Why this is hard to score →

Changelog

Every change we have recorded for this component, newest first. Security-relevant changes are always shown. ▲ marks a change for the better, ▼ a change for the worse; unmarked changes are neutral.

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 20 to 23. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 6 days of observed history at the previous scan, 7 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

MCP tools · 2 exposed · ~537 tokens

The tools this component advertises to a client, with an estimated token cost for each. Expand a tool to see its parameters and schema. The per-tool counts are indicative and are not scored directly; the schema's total context footprint is one signal in Schema Quality & AI Usability. A tool's description is untrusted text the model reads on every call, which is what makes this list a security surface and not just an inventory: how tool poisoning works →

Tool Tokens
gu_search ~207

Search the Guam Code Annotated BY TOPIC or keyword rather than citation — "murder", "security deposit", "concealed weapon permit", "homestead". Matches against official section and chapter CATCHLINES (not full statutory body text — Guam does not publish a full-text search, and this pack derives its section catchlines from each chapter PDF's own table of contents, not a separate official index, so coverage is best-effort). Optionally filter to one Title (1-22) with `title`. Returns matching citations, catchlines, and title/chapter context; call gu_statute with a citation for the full text. Keyless.

NameTypeReqDescription
limitnumber–Max results to return, default 10, max 50.
querystringyesTopic or keywords, e.g. "aggravated murder".
titlenumber–Restrict to one GCA Title (1-22), e.g. 9 for Crimes and Corrections.

No examples provided.

gu_statute ~330

Get the FULL TEXT of a section of the Guam Code Annotated (GCA) — Guam territorial law — by citation. "9 GCA 16.30" (or "9 GCA § 16.30") is Aggravated Murder Defined; "21 GCA 33101" is who may take an acknowledgment of a deed. Guam uses TWO citation styles depending on the title: newer titles write "chapter.section" with a dot (9 GCA, the Criminal Code); older titles concatenate chapter and a zero-padded section number with no separator (e.g. 21 GCA). Either form works. If the citation omits "N GCA", pass `title` separately (1-22). Returns the current statutory text, the official catchline, chapter/title context, source PDF URL, and data_as_of. Guam publishes the CURRENT text only — no per-year historical archive; this tool says so rather than guessing. Keyless. Use for "what does 9 GCA 16.30 say" or to check a Guam statute a case or contract relies on.

NameTypeReqDescription
citationstringyesSection citation, e.g. "9 GCA 16.30", "9 GCA § 16.30", "21 GCA 33101", or a bare "16.30" / "33101" with `title` given separately.
titlenumber–GCA Title number (1-22), only needed if not already included in `citation` (e.g. citation="16.30", title=9).

Common questions

What is the Guam Code MCP server?

Guam Code is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as io.github.pipeworx-io/guam-code. Guam Code Annotated (GCA), section lookup and search. Fleet #2888. This page covers its npm package (@pipeworx/mcp-guam-code).

Is the Guam Code MCP server safe to use?

Guam Code scores 82 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. We found no known CVEs affecting it as of 5 November 2026. It declares no install or post-install scripts. Its build provenance is signed and verified. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

What tools does the Guam Code MCP server expose?

Guam Code exposes 2 tools: gu_statute, gu_search. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 537 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

Is the Guam Code MCP server still maintained?

What licence is the Guam Code MCP server under?

Guam Code declares the MIT licence, which is OSI-approved. That covers the source only, and says nothing about the cost of any service it calls.

What did VerifyMCP test on the Guam Code MCP server?

VerifyMCP ran 16 checks on Guam Code, covering Malware scan, Known CVEs, Install scripts, Dependency health and 12 more. Endpoint Security and Transport & Reachability do not apply to an npm package, so they were not tested. The score does not measure everything, and the scoring documentation lists what it leaves out.
