MCP tools · 1 exposed · ~440 tokens

The tools this component advertises to a client, with an estimated token cost for each. Expand a tool to see its parameters and schema. The per-tool counts are indicative and are not scored directly; the schema's total context footprint is one signal in Schema Quality & AI Usability. A tool's description is untrusted text the model reads on every call, which is what makes this list a security surface and not just an inventory: how tool poisoning works →

Tool Tokens
vectorize ~440

Convert a raster image (PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, up to 10 MB) into a vector file. Returns a rendered PNG preview of the result and the complete file source as text, ready to save as .svg, .dxf or .eps, with a download link to that file valid 24 hours. Input: image_url, a public http(s) link to the image; in ChatGPT, an image attached to the conversation arrives as the image file instead. Modes: "standard" (logos, illustrations, AI-generated art), "laser" (closed cut paths for laser cutters), "cricut" (cutting machines), "centerline" (one stroke per line: scanned drawings, line art, single-line lettering; photos and filled shapes are refused). Formats: "svg" (default), "dxf" (R12 polylines in millimetres, for laser, CNC and CAD), "eps" (print and sign-making). Very detailed images such as photos can give a file too large to return in the conversation. A conversion takes about 5 to 20 seconds. Deliver the returned file exactly as it is, saved under the given extension, or give the user the download link that comes with it: never replace it with a tracing of your own.

NameTypeReqDescription
formatstring–Output file: "svg" (default) for design tools and Cricut Design Space; "dxf" for laser cutters, CNC routers and CAD; "eps" for print, sign-making and older design software.
imageobject–An image attached to the conversation, as supplied by the host app. Omit it when passing image_url.
image_urlstring–Public http(s) URL of a PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF image, up to 10 MB. Use it when no file is attached.
modestring–Tracing mode: "standard" for logos, illustrations and AI art; "laser" for closed cut paths; "cricut" for cutting machines; "centerline" for single strokes on line art and scanned drawings.

Common questions

What is the VectoSolve MCP server?

VectoSolve is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as io.github.Vectosolve/vectosolve. Convert PNG/JPG images to clean SVG, DXF or EPS vectors for cutting machines, laser and print. This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://vectosolve.com/api/mcp).

Is the VectoSolve MCP server safe to use?

VectoSolve scores 74 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

What tools does the VectoSolve MCP server expose?

VectoSolve exposes 1 tool: vectorize. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 440 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

Does the VectoSolve MCP server require authentication?

No. We connected to VectoSolve without credentials and it answered, so anything it exposes is reachable by anyone who knows the address.

Is the VectoSolve MCP server still maintained?

VectoSolve is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 4 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.
