Available components
How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. How we score →
Endpoint Security63
- The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key. View diagnostics → Pass
- Authorisation not fully verified: no authorisation is required to call this server, and 5 tool(s) never declared a destructiveHint. The MCP spec treats an absent hint as destructive by default, so we cannot call this surface safe. See how to fix → View diagnostics → Unverified
- HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path. View diagnostics → Pass
- The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present. View diagnostics → Pass
- DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC. See how to fix → View diagnostics → Fail
Transport & Reachability100
- Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake. View diagnostics → Pass
Schema Quality & AI Usability60
- AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).Pass
- Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1446 tokens (~289/item across 5 items; 5 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params. See how to fix → Fail
- Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples. See how to fix → Fail
Stability & Change Management27
- Stability observed for 8 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.Partial
Tool Coverage100
- 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).Pass
- 100% of tool parameters carry a description.Pass
Capabilities60
- Spec-recency check failed: implements MCP spec 2025-06-18; the latest is 2026-07-28. See how to fix → Fail

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 20 to 23. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 6 days of observed history at the previous scan, 7 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

The tools this component advertises to a client, with an estimated token cost for each. Expand a tool to see its parameters and schema. The per-tool counts are indicative and are not scored directly; the schema's total context footprint is one signal in Schema Quality & AI Usability.
get_live_opportunity_feed Live opportunity feed ~114
A random sample of 12 records from the curated live feed of open defense/technology opportunities (multi-country, multi-source, deduplicated by country+source). Served entirely from a background-refreshed cache; if the cache is cold the tool returns a retryable 'warming_up' error rather than an empty list. No arguments. Requires a GlobalGov plan with API access (sign in with GlobalGov or connect an X-API-Key); anonymous callers get an 'unavailable_for_tier' result.
Input schema present but exposes no named parameters.
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
get_platform_stats Platform coverage statistics ~68
Canonical GlobalGov coverage numbers: total and open solicitation counts, countries covered, source systems, languages, vendor counts. Pre-computed nightly and served from cache; if the cache is cold the tool returns a retryable 'computing' error and the refresh is dispatched automatically. No arguments.
Input schema present but exposes no named parameters.
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
get_related_solicitations Get related solicitations ~131
Up to 5 open solicitations related to a given record slug, matched by country and NAICS code, ordered by nearest deadline. Fast, index-backed lookup. Useful for 'what else is open like this?' FREE tier: a taste of up to 3 related records, capped at ~3 calls per visitor per 24h. A GlobalGov plan with API access (sign in with GlobalGov or connect an X-API-Key) returns the full related set (up to 5) and lifts the daily cap.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| slug | string | yes | Record slug from a previous result. |
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
get_solicitation Get a solicitation record ~193
Fetch one full public solicitation record by slug (as returned by search_solicitations / get_live_opportunity_feed) or by UUID. Returns title (original + English), agency, country, value and currency, deadline, published date, status, category, NAICS/CPV codes, source_url, and the full description. Returns error 'not_found' for unknown slugs/ids. FREE tier: returns the FACTUAL record only (the fields above), capped at ~10 opens per visitor per 24h (free_tier=true, opens_remaining; an honest free_tier_limit_reached result when spent). A GlobalGov plan with API access (sign in with GlobalGov or connect an X-API-Key) additionally returns the AI-generated brief (summary, key requirements, compliance flags) and lifts the daily cap.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| slug_or_id | string | yes | Record slug (preferred) or UUID. |
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
search_solicitations Search government solicitations ~611
Full-text search over 9.9M+ government procurement records (solicitations, tenders, RFPs, grants) from 200+ countries, updated daily. Returns up to 20 relevance-ranked results per page with id, title, agency, country_code, value_usd, deadline, status, category, slug and a text snippet. Use the id (always present) — or the slug when set — with get_solicitation for the full record. Terms are matched with OR and ranked by relevance, so a multi-word query ('private 5G network defence') returns the best-matching open opportunities rather than only exact all-term matches. By default results are limited to OPEN-for-bidding opportunities (not-yet-closed status, and either a future deadline or a recently published notice); pass open_only=false to include awarded/closed history, or closing_within_days=N to return only records with a real future deadline inside the next N days (a 'closing soon' query). Access tiers: the FREE tier returns 15 results/page, up to 3 pages deep, ~30 searches per visitor per 24h (each free response carries free_tier=true, searches_remaining, and an upgrade_hint; when the daily cap is spent the tool returns an honest free_tier_limit_reached result with reset_at, not an empty list). Authenticated API-plan callers get full results (20/page), unlimited pagination depth, and are governed by the per-key hourly limit instead of the daily budget. get_solicitation and get_related_solicitations are also FREE (with their own daily caps); only get_live_opportunity_feed and the AI brief on records require a paid API key. If the result reports total_degraded=true, the exact match count timed out and 'total' is a floor, not the true count.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| category | string | — | Optional sector filter (internal taxonomy; uppercase enum). |
| closing_within_days | integer | — | Optional 'closing soon' filter: only records with a REAL future submission deadline within this many days (records with no published deadline are excluded). Implies open. |
| country | string | — | Optional filter. ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code, uppercase (e.g. 'US' United States, 'DE' Germany, 'FR' France, 'GB' United Kingdom, 'UA' Ukraine, 'JP' Japan, 'AU' Australia, 'BR' Brazil). Coverage… |
| open_only | boolean | — | Default true: return only open-for-bidding opportunities (excludes awarded/closed/cancelled/expired). Set false to search the full historical corpus. |
| page | integer | — | 1-based results page (20 results/page). |
| query | string | yes | Search terms (websearch syntax: plain words, quoted phrases, OR). Example: 'cybersecurity training' or 'drone OR UAV'. |
