How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. How we score → Why this is hard to score →
Endpoint Security77
- The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key. View diagnostics → Pass
- No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one. See how to fix → View diagnostics → Partial
- HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path. View diagnostics → Pass
- HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent. See how to fix → View diagnostics → Fail
- DNSSEC is configured correctly; the domain's records validate against the full chain to the root. View diagnostics → Pass
Transport & Reachability100
- Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake. View diagnostics → Pass
Schema Quality & AI Usability71
- 100% of prompts and resources have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the item's name).Pass
- AI-judged instruction clarity (good).Pass
- Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1511 tokens (~377/item across 4 items; 3 tools + 1 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params. See how to fix → Fail
- Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples. See how to fix → Fail
Stability & Change Management40
- Stability observed for 12 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.Partial
Tool Coverage100

- 100% of tool parameters carry a description.Pass
Tool Safety100
- No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.Pass
- We read all 3 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.Pass
- An AI judge read all 5 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.Pass
Capabilities100
- Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.Pass

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 3 to 7. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 1 days of observed history at the previous scan, 2 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.
Diagnostic detail from the automated scan of this channel: what the scanner observed at each step, so you can see exactly where a check passed or failed. It is informational only and never changes the trust score.

check_direct_price Check the hotel's own price against Booking.com ~616
Checks whether a hotel is cheaper on its own website than on Booking.com, for one stay. Give the hotel, the dates, the guests and, when you have it, the total Booking.com shows for the whole stay with its meal plan and cancellation terms. BookHotels.direct reads the hotel's own booking site live, applying the public promo codes and free-club prices it knows for that hotel, or uses a traveller's read of the same stay from the last 24 hours, and compares like for like: same hotel, dates and guests, with every difference in room, meal plan or cancellation stated. The answer is honest either way: when Booking.com is cheaper, it says so. When the hotel's site cannot be read automatically, the answer gives the link to the hotel's own site for these dates and asks you to report the prices shown there with report_hotel_price. Without a Booking.com total, the answer gives the hotel's own price and, when the evidence allows, an estimated saving, always labelled as an estimate with its basis. Only Booking.com prices can be compared. One room per check.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| adults | integer | – | Number of adults (default 2). |
| booking_cancellation | string | – | The cancellation terms of the Booking.com offer, when Booking.com shows them: free cancellation, non-refundable, or partly refundable. |
| booking_meal_plan | string | – | The meal plan of the Booking.com offer, when Booking.com shows it. |
| booking_room | string | – | The room name of the Booking.com offer, when shown. |
| booking_taxes_extra | number | – | Taxes Booking.com lists on top of its total, in euros (e.g. a city tax), when shown. |
| booking_taxes_included | boolean | – | true when Booking.com says its total includes taxes and charges; false when it lists taxes on top. |
| booking_total | number | – | The total Booking.com shows for the whole stay, in euros, when known. Without it you get the hotel's own price and, when the evidence allows, an estimated saving. |
| booking_url | string | – | Optional: the Booking.com address of the hotel's page (https://www.booking.com/hotel/…). Only the address is read, to recognise the hotel and the dates; the page is never opened. |
| checkin | string | yes | Check-in date, YYYY-MM-DD. |
| checkout | string | yes | Check-out date, YYYY-MM-DD. |
| children_ages | array | – | Each child's age on the day of check-out, one number per child. Leave out when no children travel. Hotels price children by age, so ages are needed for families. |
| city | string | – | The town or city the hotel is in, e.g. "Sitges". Helps find hotels we have not checked before. |
| hotel | string | yes | The hotel's name as the traveller sees it, e.g. "Hotel Calipolis". |
| language | string | – | Language of the check page for the traveller (default en). |

report_booking Report that the traveller booked ~139
When the traveller tells you they booked a hotel after a check_direct_price answer, report whether they booked it on the hotel's own website, with the check_id. Only report what the traveller told you. Nothing about the traveller is sent or kept: only that the check led to a booking, and its total when given.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| booked_direct | boolean | yes | true when the traveller booked on the hotel's own website; false when they booked elsewhere or not at all. |
| check_id | string | yes | The check_id returned by check_direct_price. |
| total_paid | number | – | The total the traveller says they paid, in euros, when they say it. |

report_hotel_price Report the prices seen on the hotel's own site ~557
After check_direct_price asked you to open the hotel's own website for a stay, report the prices that site showed for the same dates and guests, and get the honest comparison with Booking.com. Give the check_id from check_direct_price and one entry per room or rate you saw, each with its total for the whole stay in euros and, when shown, its meal plan and cancellation terms. Report only what the hotel's own site showed; leave a field out when the site did not say it. The report is kept anonymously so the next traveller asking about the same stay gets an answer at once.
