How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. How we score → Why this is hard to score →
Endpoint Security97
- The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key. View diagnostics → Pass
- Authorisation is enforced on tool calls, advertised via RFC 9728 protected-resource metadata. Discovery is public, which costs nothing: no tool can be invoked without a token. View diagnostics → Pass
- HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path. View diagnostics → Pass
- The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present. View diagnostics → Pass
- DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC. See how to fix → View diagnostics → Fail
- The authorisation server supports Client ID Metadata Documents, the current MCP client-registration mechanism. View diagnostics → Pass
Transport & Reachability100
- Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake. View diagnostics → Pass
Schema Quality & AI Usability76
- AI-judged instruction clarity (good).Pass
- Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 910 tokens (~113/item across 8 items; 8 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params. See how to fix → Fail
- Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples. See how to fix → Fail
Stability & Change Management50
- Stability observed for 15 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.Partial
Tool Coverage79
- 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).Pass
- 36% of tool parameters carry a description.Partial
Tool Safety100
- No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.Pass
- We read all 8 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.Pass
- An AI judge read all 9 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.Pass
Capabilities100
- Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.Pass

The tools this component advertises to a client, with an estimated token cost for each. Expand a tool to see its parameters and schema. The per-tool counts are indicative and are not scored directly; the schema's total context footprint is one signal in Schema Quality & AI Usability. A tool's description is untrusted text the model reads on every call, which is what makes this list a security surface and not just an inventory: how tool poisoning works →
draft_quote Draft a quote ~212
Use this when a contractor describes a job (what they saw on site, what needs doing, quantities) and wants an itemized quote. Builds the draft only from the contractor's own price book; lines with no match are flagged and left unpriced, never guessed. Side effects: saves a new draft quote in the contractor's FieldDraft account each time it is called (calling again creates another draft) and counts toward the account's monthly draft allowance. The description and any photo links are sent to FieldDraft's AI provider to produce the draft. Nothing is sent to the customer or to Jobber. Do not use for general pricing questions or for jobs the user has not described.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| clientName | string | – | Customer name if mentioned |
| jobDescription | string | yes | The contractor's description of the job in their own words, including quantities and site conditions |
| photoUrls | array | – | Public image URLs of the job site, only if the user shared them; they are fetched for the AI model |
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
get_quote Get a quote ~50
Fetch one of the contractor's FieldDraft quotes by its id (from draft_quote or list_quotes), with line items, options and totals. Read-only; changes nothing.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| quoteId | string | yes | – |
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
list_quotes List quotes ~51
List the contractor's recent FieldDraft quotes, newest first, with title, status, total and id (default 10, up to 50). Read-only; changes nothing.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| limit | integer | – | – |
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
open_quotes FieldDraft quotes ~39
Show the contractor's 10 most recent FieldDraft quotes with title, client, status, total and a link to each. Read-only; changes nothing.
Input schema present but exposes no named parameters.
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
push_quote_to_jobber Push quote to Jobber ~198
Create the quote in the contractor's connected Jobber account, as a draft they review and send from Jobber. Only call after the contractor explicitly confirms the draft. Requires a client name; ask for it (plus email and job site address if known) when missing. Side effects: creates a new quote in Jobber, and a new client and property there when no existing client matches; it never edits or deletes existing Jobber records. Safe to retry: a quote that was already pushed returns the existing Jobber quote. Fails if Jobber is not connected or any line has no price.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| clientEmail | string | – | – |
| clientName | string | – | Customer name, if not already on the quote |
| clientPhone | string | – | – |
| quoteId | string | yes | – |
| siteAddress | string | – | The customer's job site street address for the Jobber property, if not already on the quote |
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
search_price_book Search price book ~67
Find items in the contractor's own price book by name or description, to answer 'what do I charge for X' or to fix an unmatched line. Returns up to 25 items. Read-only; changes nothing.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| limit | integer | – | – |
| query | string | yes | – |
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
sync_price_book Sync price book from Jobber ~93
Re-import the contractor's products & services from their connected Jobber account so drafts use current prices. Use when the contractor says they changed prices in Jobber or the price book looks out of date. Side effects: overwrites FieldDraft's stored names, prices and details with Jobber's and deactivates items deleted in Jobber; nothing is changed in Jobber. Fails if Jobber is not connected.
Input schema present but exposes no named parameters.
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
update_quote_lines Update quote line items ~111
Replace ALL line items on a draft quote with the supplied list, after the contractor asks for changes (quantities, prices, adding or removing lines). Overwrites the existing lines, so pass every line that should remain, not just the changed one; discount lines are kept automatically. Prices must come from the contractor or their price book; confirm before changing a price. Only changes the quote in FieldDraft, not in Jobber.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| lineItems | array | yes | – |
| quoteId | string | yes | – |
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.

Is the FieldDraft MCP server safe to use?
FieldDraft scores 86 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.
What tools does the FieldDraft MCP server expose?
FieldDraft exposes 8 tools: draft_quote, open_quotes, get_quote, list_quotes, update_quote_lines, and 3 more. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 821 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.
Does the FieldDraft MCP server require authentication?
Yes. FieldDraft asked us for credentials when we connected, so you will need to authorise it in your MCP client before it can do anything.
Is the FieldDraft MCP server still maintained?
FieldDraft is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 7 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.
What did VerifyMCP test on the FieldDraft MCP server?
VerifyMCP ran 13 checks on FieldDraft, covering TLS certificate, Authorization, HTTPS, HSTS header and 9 more. Supply Chain Security and Provenance & Transparency do not apply to a hosted endpoint, so they were not tested. The score does not measure everything, and the scoring documentation lists what it leaves out.
