How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. How we score → Why this is hard to score →
Supply Chain Security0
- No malware scan is available for this kind of package: the supply-chain vendors we use do not cover it. This is a permanent gap in our coverage, not a finding about the package.Unverified
- Known CVEs could not be checked: this artifact ships no SBOM or dependency manifest, so there is no dependency list to read.Unverified
- Install-script risk not yet assessed.Unverified
- Dependency health could not be checked: this artifact ships no SBOM or dependency manifest, so there is no dependency list to read.Unverified

Schema Quality & AI Usability66
- AI-judged instruction clarity (good).Pass
- Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 715 tokens (~178/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params. See how to fix → Fail
- Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples. See how to fix → Fail
Stability & Change Management10
- Stability observed for 3 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.Partial
Tool Coverage90
- 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).Pass
- 70% of tool parameters carry a description.Partial
Tool Safety100
- No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.Pass
- We read all 4 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.Pass
- An AI judge read all 5 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.Pass
Capabilities100
- Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.Pass
Unverified: 1 category
A category scored 0 because we could not verify it: a data source with nothing on this package, evidence we could not reach, or a check we could not run. We only credit what we can confirm.
Every change we have recorded for this component, newest first. Security-relevant changes are always shown. ▲ marks a change for the better, ▼ a change for the worse; unmarked changes are neutral.

Background: How many MCP packages publish verified provenance →
The tools this component advertises to a client, with an estimated token cost for each. Expand a tool to see its parameters and schema. The per-tool counts are indicative and are not scored directly; the schema's total context footprint is one signal in Schema Quality & AI Usability. A tool's description is untrusted text the model reads on every call, which is what makes this list a security surface and not just an inventory: how tool poisoning works →
get_vulnerability Get one OSV advisory ~87
Fetch one advisory by OSV id (for example GHSA-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx, PYSEC-2023-1, GO-2024-1234, or a CVE id that OSV aliases). Returns the summary plus the raw OSV record. Calls GET https://api.osv.dev/v1/vulns/{id}.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| id | string | yes | – |
No output schema declared.

query_batch Query OSV for many packages ~70
Return, for each package in the list (up to 1000), the ids of OSV advisories that affect it. Ids only; call get_vulnerability for details. Calls POST https://api.osv.dev/v1/querybatch in chunks of 100.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |

query_package Query OSV for one package ~230
Return the OSV advisories affecting one package at one version (or every known advisory for the package when version is omitted). Each advisory carries its id, aliases such as CVE ids, summary, severity, affected ranges, fixed versions and reference URLs. Calls POST https://api.osv.dev/v1/query.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| ecosystem | string | yes | OSV ecosystem name, case-insensitive. One of: AlmaLinux, Alpine, Android, Bioconductor, Bitnami, Chainguard, ConanCenter, CRAN, crates.io, Debian, GHC, GitHub Actions, Go, Hackage, Hex, Linux, Mageia… |
| name | string | yes | Package name as the ecosystem spells it (npm scope included, Go module path, PyPI project name). |
| version | string | – | Exact installed version. For Go, with or without the leading v. |
No output schema declared.
No examples provided.
scan_lockfile Scan a lockfile against OSV ~220
Parse a lockfile and batch-query OSV for every exactly pinned dependency in it. Supported formats: package-lock.json (lockfileVersion 1 to 3), requirements.txt (only == pins are queried; other specifiers are listed as skipped), poetry.lock and go.sum (basic: every module line, leading v removed). Supply either path (a local file up to 10485760 bytes) or content (the file text). Format is detected from the file name and content unless given. Returns the packages with advisories, the ids per package, the skipped entries and counts. With include_details, fetches up to 20 advisories in full.
| Name | Type | Req | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| content | string | – | Lockfile text, as an alternative to path. |
