## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-09-15.

- **Endpoint Security**: 57/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - Authorisation not fully verified: no authorisation is required to call this server, and 4 tool(s) never declared a destructiveHint. The MCP spec treats an absent hint as destructive by default, so we cannot call this surface safe.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 69/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Tool/resource definitions use about 373 tokens (~93/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), lean.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 57/100
  - Stability observed for 17 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 71/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 0% of tool parameters carry a description.
  - Structured output schemas are declared (100% of tools); any adoption earns full credit.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 4 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 5 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

- [functional] New tool “empathy_hint”
- [functional] New tool “somatic_decode”

## MCP tools (4)

### `analyze_text` (~75 tokens)

L1 Affect Extraction: analyze text into an 8-dimensional emotion vector,
emotion texture labels, causal intent classification, and a natural-language
state description. text: input up to 2000 chars. lang: optional 'zh' or 'en'.

Input parameters:

- `lang` (string)
- `text` (string, required)

Output parameters:

- `result` (string)

### `generate_avatar_params` (~64 tokens)

L2 Avatar Driving Pipeline: one call returns blendshape/AU/curve animation
parameters, lighting & material atmosphere package, adapter payload, plus the
upstream L1 affect analysis. Requires a key tier that includes L2.

Input parameters:

- `text` (string, required)

Output parameters:

- `result` (string)

### `empathy_hint` (~80 tokens)

L3 Empathy Response Strategy: converts text into a deterministic response
strategy (approach, tone temperature, pacing, focus points, avoid-list) for
AI companions and conversational agents. Deterministic table lookup, no LLM,
~20ms; privacy-first. Not a medical or therapeutic tool.

Input parameters:

- `text` (string, required)

Output parameters:

- `result` (string)

### `somatic_decode` (~85 tokens)

L4 Somatic Emotion Decode: converts body-sensation text (e.g. tight chest,
clenched fists) into structured emotion: primary affect, valence/arousal,
emotion texture, causal intent, plus somatic anchor cues. Grounded in the
somatic decoding discipline; wellness simulation only, not a diagnostic tool.

Input parameters:

- `text` (string, required)

Output parameters:

- `result` (string)

## Common questions

### What is the Chenji Affect MCP server?

Chenji Affect is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as io.github.zhiyu-dev/chenji-affect-mcp. Affect analysis, 3D avatar params, empathy hints and somatic emotion decode. This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://taichusjs.cn/mcp).

### Is the Chenji Affect MCP server safe to use?

Chenji Affect scores 69 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the Chenji Affect MCP server expose?

Chenji Affect exposes 4 tools: analyze_text, generate_avatar_params, empathy_hint, somatic_decode. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 304 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Does the Chenji Affect MCP server require authentication?

No. We connected to Chenji Affect without credentials and it answered, so anything it exposes is reachable by anyone who knows the address.

### Is the Chenji Affect MCP server still maintained?

Chenji Affect is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 15 September 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.
