## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-10-23.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 98/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - No known CVEs affecting this package version or its production dependencies.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - 31 of 96 dependencies flagged as unhealthy.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 48/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Provenance check failed: no build-provenance attestation is published.
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 2 days ago).
  - Publishes a security disclosure policy (SECURITY.md).
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 65/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 14519 tokens (~151/item across 96 items; 96 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 0/100
  - Stability not yet verified: not enough scan history yet (needs a 30-day window).
- **Tool Coverage**: 98/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 93% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - All 9 tool(s) whose name or description implies an irreversible operation declare an MCP destructiveHint annotation.
  - An AI judge read all 97 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

**Unverified: 1 category.** A category scored 0 because we could not verify it: a data source with nothing on this package, evidence we could not reach, or a check we could not run. We only credit what we can confirm.

List the languages Speech to Text can transcribe (Premiere Pro 26.3 or later) and whether each one's language pack is installed (Preferences > Transcription), or check given language codes such as "en-US". Language packs are installed from Creative Cloud or Premiere Pro, not here

Input parameters:

- `languages` (array): Only check these language codes, e.g. ["en-US", "fr-FR"] (works before 26.3 too)

### `import_captions` (~129 tokens)

Import Captions

Import caption files (.srt, .scc, .mcc, .dfxp, .stl, .xml: SubRip, Scenarist, MacCaption, DFXP, EBU STL, W3C/SMPTE/EBU Timed Text XML) into the project without Premiere Pro's dialogs (File > Import), into the root or a bin. Each becomes a captions item to place on a caption track

Input parameters:

- `bin` (object): Import into this bin. Default: the project root
- `files` (array, required): Absolute paths of caption files

### `transcribe_clip` (~97 tokens)

Transcribe Clip

Transcribe a clip project item's audio with Speech to Text (Premiere Pro 26.5 or later). Needs the language pack Premiere Pro uses; waits until the transcript is done, so raise PREMIERE_SCRIPT_TIMEOUT_MS for long clips

Input parameters:

- `item` (object, required): A project item: its id (from list_project_items), its bin path such as "Footage/Interviews/a.mov", or its name when that is unique

### `export_transcript` (~107 tokens)

Export Transcript

Read a clip project item's transcript as JSON (the Text panel's transcript, with word timings). Returns it, or writes it to a .json file when outputFile is given

Input parameters:

- `item` (object, required): A project item: its id (from list_project_items), its bin path such as "Footage/Interviews/a.mov", or its name when that is unique
- `outputFile` (string): Absolute path of a .json file to write instead of returning the transcript

### `export_sequence` (~365 tokens)

Export Sequence

Export a sequence with an encoder preset (.epr) (File > Export > Media, or Quick Export): encode it now in Premiere Pro (the call waits; raise PREMIERE_SCRIPT_TIMEOUT_MS for long exports), or queue it in Adobe Media Encoder or Premiere Pro's own queue. The preset sets the format and every Export setting (video, encoding, keyframe distance, audio, captions, effects such as Image Overlay, metadata, VR, HDR, still image sequences); save one from the Export page or Media Encoder. Whole sequence or in to out (set them with set_sequence_times). Without an extension the preset's is added. importIntoProject imports the file afterwards

Input parameters:

- `importBin` (object): With importIntoProject: the bin to import into. Default: the project root
- `importIntoProject` (boolean): With mode immediately: import the exported file into the project (Import into Project). Default false
- `mode` (string): Default immediately
- `outputFile` (string, required): Absolute path of the file to write
- `overwrite` (boolean): Replace outputFile if it exists. Default false
- `preset` (string, required): Absolute path of an encoder preset (.epr), e.g. one saved from the Export page or Media Encoder
- `range` (string): Default full
- `sequence` (object): Which sequence. Give its name or guid (from list_sequences); omit for the active sequence
- `startQueue` (boolean): With queue_to_ame: start Media Encoder's queue (Premiere Pro 26.3 or later). Default false

### `encode_media` (~311 tokens)

Encode Media

Queue a clip or sequence from the project, or a media file on disk, in Adobe Media Encoder with an encoder preset (.epr) (Export > Send to Media Encoder, or Media Encoder's queue). Whole item, its in to out, or (sequences) the work area; a file can be trimmed with inPoint and outPoint. Optionally starts the queue. Returns once the job is queued; wait_for_event with render_complete waits for it to finish

Input parameters:

- `file` (string): Absolute path of a media file to encode without importing it. Give item or file
- `inPoint` (number): With file: start at this time, seconds. Default the start
- `item` (object): The clip or sequence project item to encode. Give item or file
- `outPoint` (number): With file: stop at this time, seconds. Default the end
- `outputFile` (string, required): Absolute path of the file to write, with its extension
- `overwrite` (boolean): Replace outputFile if it exists. Default false
- `preset` (string, required): Absolute path of an encoder preset (.epr)
- `range` (string): With item: the whole item, its in to out, or the work area (sequences only). Default full
- `removeWhenDone` (boolean): Remove the job from Media Encoder's queue when it finishes. Default false
- `startQueue` (boolean): Start Media Encoder's queue straight away. Default false

### `export_frame` (~133 tokens)

- `sequence` (object): Which sequence. Give its name or guid (from list_sequences); omit for the active sequence
- `time` (number): Sequence time in seconds. Default: the playhead
- `width` (integer)

### `export_timeline` (~114 tokens)

Export Timeline

Export a sequence's edit for another application: Final Cut Pro XML (.xml) or OpenTimelineIO (.otio), Premiere Pro 26.2 or later, or AAF (.aaf) with default options, 26.3 or later

Input parameters:

- `format` (string, required)
- `outputFile` (string, required): Absolute path with the format's extension
- `overwrite` (boolean)
- `sequence` (object): Which sequence. Give its name or guid (from list_sequences); omit for the active sequence

### `get_metadata` (~86 tokens)

### `get_metadata_display` (~41 tokens)

Get Metadata Display

Read the Project panel's column layout (Metadata Display: which metadata fields show as List view columns, in what order and width), as Premiere Pro's XML

### `set_metadata_display` (~83 tokens)

Set Metadata Display

Change the Project panel's Metadata Display: add fields to the project metadata schema (they become available as columns), and/or set the column layout from XML (usually get_metadata_display's with your changes). Not undoable

Input parameters:

- `addFields` (array): Fields to add to the project metadata schema
- `panelMetadata` (string): The column layout XML to apply

### `wait_for_event` (~141 tokens)

Wait For Event

Wait until Premiere Pro reports an event (script events), or until the timeout: a project opening, closing, changing, being activated or its Project panel selection changing; a sequence being activated, closed or its selection changing; a Media Encoder job being queued, progressing, completing, failing or being cancelled; an export or import finishing. Returns whether it happened and the event's details. Other calls wait while this one runs

### `recover_project` (~185 tokens)

Recover Project

Recover a project after a crash: list the copies in its Auto-Save folder (the Auto Save scratch disk, by default "Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save" beside the project), newest first, and with open: true open the newest (or a chosen one) as a separate project, with Premiere Pro's dialogs turned off. The original project file is not changed

Input parameters:

### `premiere_status` (~74 tokens)

Premiere Status

Check the connection to Premiere Pro: the port the server listens on, whether the plugin is connected, Premiere Pro's version, and (with probe) the active project and sequence. Use this first when a call fails to connect

Input parameters:

- `probe` (boolean): Also ask Premiere Pro for the active project and sequence. Default true

### `execute_premiere_code` (~126 tokens)

Execute Premiere Code

Run your own UXP JavaScript in Premiere Pro, as the body of an async function with ppro (require("premierepro")) and transact(project, undoName, build) in scope; build(add) receives add(action) for each Action, created inside the project lock as Premiere Pro 26.3 requires. Return a JSON-friendly value. It runs unrestricted: it can change or delete anything. Prefer the specific tools

Input parameters:

- `code` (string, required): Async function body, e.g. const p = await ppro.Project.getActiveProject(); return p.name;

### `help` (~30 tokens)
