## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-10-23.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 50/100
  - Malware scan not yet available for this package.
  - No known CVEs affecting this package version or its production dependencies.
  - Runs hatchling.build at install time, a recognised build step with no custom scripting around it.
  - 1 of 32 dependencies flagged as unhealthy.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 97/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Cryptographically verified build provenance (signed, bound to tmailor-com/tmailor-mcp).
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 2 days ago).
  - Disclosure check failed: no security disclosure policy was found in the source repository.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 72/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1120 tokens (~140/item across 8 items; 8 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 10/100
  - Stability observed for 3 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
  - Structured output schemas are declared (100% of tools); any adoption earns full credit.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - All 1 tool(s) whose name or description implies an irreversible operation declare an MCP destructiveHint annotation.
  - An AI judge read all 9 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a current MCP spec version (2026-07-28).

## MCP tools (8)

### `create_mailbox` (~119 tokens)

Create a temporary email address

Create a new temporary email address that can receive mail right away.

Uses 1 unit of the account's mailbox quota (checking and reading mail is free). The address never expires;
call delete_mailbox when it is no longer needed. Then use wait_for_message to get the mail it receives.

Input parameters:

- `domain`: One of the account's own verified domains (see list_domains). Leave empty for a random shared domain.
- `name`: Local part before the @. Only allowed on the account's own domains. Leave empty for a random name.

Output parameters:

- `created_at`
- `domain` (string)
- `email` (string)
- `message_count`
- `own_domain` (boolean)

### `wait_for_message` (~305 tokens)

Wait for an email (OTP, verification link)

Return the newest UNREAD message matching the filters, or wait until one arrives.

The result includes `otp` (the one-time code found in the message, or null), `codes`, `links` and the body
chosen by `body_format` (plain text by default; "html" or "both" for the raw HTML).
Returning a message marks it as read, so the next call waits for the next one. If nothing arrives in time,
\`status` is "timeout": call again if the email may still come (for example the sign-up was just submitted).

Input parameters:

- `body_format` (string): Which body to return: "text" (plain text, default), "html" (the raw HTML exactly as received; falls back to text when the message has no HTML part) or "both".
- `email` (string, required): The email address, as returned by create_mailbox or list_mailboxes.
- `from_contains`: Only messages whose sender name or address contains this text.
- `max_chars` (integer): Maximum characters of message text to return (longer text is cut).
- `max_html_chars` (integer): Maximum characters of HTML to return when body_format is html or both (longer HTML is cut).
- `subject_contains`: Only messages whose subject contains this text.
- `timeout_seconds` (integer): How long to wait for a new message (hosted server mcp.tmailor.com: at most 60).

Output parameters:

- `email` (string)
- `hint` (string)
- `message`
- `message_id` (string)
- `status` (string)
- `waited_seconds` (integer)

### `list_messages` (~104 tokens)

List messages of an address

List the messages an address received in the last 24 hours, newest first (no body; use read_message).

Input parameters:

- `email` (string, required): The email address, as returned by create_mailbox or list_mailboxes.
- `from_contains`: Only messages whose sender contains this text.
- `limit` (integer): Maximum number of messages to return.
- `subject_contains`: Only messages whose subject contains this text.
- `unread_only` (boolean): Only messages not read yet.

Output parameters:

- `email` (string)
- `messages` (array)
- `total` (integer)
- `untrusted_content_notice` (string)

### `read_message` (~209 tokens)

Read one message

Read one message: `otp`, `codes`, `links` and the body. Marks the message as read.

\`body_format` picks the body: "text" (plain text, default), "html" (the raw HTML exactly as received) or
"both". `has_html` says whether the message has an HTML part.

- `max_chars` (integer): Maximum characters of message text to return (longer text is cut).
- `max_html_chars` (integer): Maximum characters of HTML to return when body_format is html or both (longer HTML is cut).
- `message_id` (string, required): The message id from list_messages.

Output parameters:

- `email` (string)
- `message`

### `delete_mailbox` (~71 tokens)

Delete an address

Delete an address for good (like Delete on tmailor.com): it stops receiving and cannot be restored.

Used quota is not returned. Only call this when the user's task no longer needs the address.

Input parameters:

- `email` (string, required): The email address, as returned by create_mailbox or list_mailboxes.

Output parameters:

- `deleted` (boolean)
- `email` (string)

### `list_mailboxes` (~36 tokens)

List addresses

List the account's addresses, newest first, with their message counts.

Input parameters:

- `limit` (integer): Maximum number of addresses to return.

Output parameters:

- `mailboxes` (array)
- `more` (boolean)

### `list_domains` (~30 tokens)

List usable domains

List the account's own domains (custom names are allowed on verified ones) and whether shared domains are available.

Output parameters:

- `own_domains` (array)
- `shared_domains_available` (boolean)

### `account_status` (~28 tokens)

Account status and quota

Show the remaining mailbox quota, the active plans and the request rate of the Tmailor account.

Output parameters:

- `addresses` (integer)
- `client_ip` (string)
- `daily_request_cap`
- `ip_allowlist_enforced`
- `manage_url` (string)
- `plans` (array)
- `quota_remaining` (integer)
- `quota_total` (integer)
- `quota_used` (integer)
- `requests_per_minute` (integer)
