## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 63/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS enforcement could not be verified: the plaintext port answered with HTTP 405, which proves neither a plaintext path nor enforcement.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 60/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1168 tokens (~292/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 10/100
  - Stability observed for 3 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 75/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - 0 of 2 tool(s) whose name or description implies an irreversible operation declare an MCP destructiveHint annotation; "calculate_statutory_sick_pay" implies "pay" and declares readOnlyHint instead, contradicting what its own name says it does.
  - An AI judge read all 4 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## Changelog

Every change recorded for this component, newest first. Days that predate change tracking, or that we cannot explain, say so: "we were watching and nothing happened" and "we were not watching" are different claims.

### 2026-11-05 (score 64, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 7 to 10. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 2 days of observed history at the previous scan, 3 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

## MCP tools (4)

### `calculate_statutory_sick_pay` (~335 tokens)

UK Statutory Sick Pay

Works out UK Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) for a period of sickness. Knows the Employment Rights Act 2025 changes in force from 6 April 2026: SSP is paid from the first qualifying day (no 3 waiting days), the lower earnings limit is gone, and the weekly rate is the lower of £123.25 or 80% of average weekly earnings. For sickness starting 6 April 2025 to 5 April 2026 it applies the old rules (£118.75 flat, £125 lower earnings limit, 3 waiting days, 4-day period of incapacity) and flags the SI 2026/373 transitional rules. Uses HMRC's unrounded daily rates and 28-week cap. Rates fetched from gov.uk and legislation.gov.uk on 2026-11-02.

Input parameters:

- `average_weekly_earnings` (number, required): Average weekly earnings in pounds, before tax, over the 8-week relevant period.
- `calendar_days_sick` (integer): Optional. Consecutive calendar days of sickness incl. non-working days. Only used for the pre-6 April 2026 rule that a period must be 4+ days.
- `days_off` (integer, required): Number of qualifying days off sick in this period of incapacity.
- `qualifying_days` (integer, required): Qualifying days a week: the days the employee normally works, 1 to 7.
- `start_date` (string, required): First full day of sickness, yyyy-mm-dd. Picks the rules: before or from 6 April 2026.

### `calculate_statutory_maternity_pay` (~267 tokens)

UK Statutory Maternity Pay

Works out UK Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) week by week for 39 weeks: 90% of average weekly earnings for 6 weeks, then the lower of the flat rate or 90% for 33 weeks. Flat rate £187.18 from 6 April 2025 and £194.32 from 5 April 2026, switching for pay weeks that start after the April uprating. Finds the expected week of childbirth, the qualifying week (15th week before), the latest employment start date for 26 weeks' service and the lower earnings limit for that week (£125 in 2025/26, £129 in 2026/27). Same structure applies to Statutory Adoption Pay. Figures from gov.uk, fetched 2026-11-02.

Input parameters:

- `average_weekly_earnings` (number, required): Average weekly earnings in pounds, before tax, over the 8-week relevant period.
- `due_date` (string, required): Expected due date of the baby, yyyy-mm-dd.
- `employment_start` (string, required): Date the employee started with this employer, yyyy-mm-dd.
- `smp_start_date` (string): Optional. Date SMP starts, yyyy-mm-dd. Default is the due date.

### `get_minimum_wage_rates` (~245 tokens)

UK National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage

Returns the UK National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage hourly rates in force on a date, by age band and apprentice rate, and the rate that applies to a given age. Holds April 2024, April 2025, April 2026 (£12.71 for 21 and over, £10.85 for 18 to 20, £8 under 18 and apprentices) and the published April 2027 rates (£13.21, £11.27, £8.31). Can also give weekly and annual pay at the rate for given hours. Rates fetched from gov.uk on 2026-11-02.

Input parameters:

- `age` (integer): Worker's age in whole years.
- `apprentice` (boolean): True if the worker is an apprentice.
- `apprentice_first_year` (boolean): For apprentices aged 19+: true if in the first year of the apprenticeship (apprentice rate), false if completed (age rate).
- `date` (string): Date to check, yyyy-mm-dd. Default today.
- `hours_per_week` (number): Optional hours a week, to show weekly and annual pay at the rate.

### `check_eligibility` (~321 tokens)

Check UK statutory pay eligibility

Checks the qualifying conditions for UK Statutory Sick Pay, Maternity, Paternity, Adoption or Shared Parental Pay and returns each condition as met, not met or not checkable, plus the weekly amounts. Knows that from 6 April 2026 SSP has no earnings threshold and no waiting days, and applies the 26 weeks' continuous employment test into the qualifying week (15th week before the due week, or the matching week for adoption) and the lower earnings limit (£125 in 2025/26, £129 in 2026/27). Data from gov.uk and legislation.gov.uk, fetched 2026-11-02.

Input parameters:

- `matched_date` (string): Date matched with the child, yyyy-mm-dd (adoption).
