## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 80/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 61/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1187 tokens (~148/item across 8 items; 8 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 17/100
  - Stability observed for 5 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 92/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 76% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - All 1 tool(s) whose name or description implies an irreversible operation declare an MCP destructiveHint annotation.
  - An AI judge read all 9 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 60/100
  - Spec-recency check failed: implements MCP spec 2025-06-18; the latest is 2026-07-28.

### How do I install the Arcade.fun MCP server?

Arcade.fun is a hosted endpoint at https://arcade.fun/mcp, so there is nothing to install locally. Ready-made configuration for Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and 5 more is on this page, copied from each client's own documentation.

The mcpServers block is a cross-client convention. Remote transports vary, so check your client's docs.

## Changelog

Every change recorded for this component, newest first. Days that predate change tracking, or that we cannot explain, say so: "we were watching and nothing happened" and "we were not watching" are different claims.

### 2026-11-04 (score 71, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 10 to 13. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 3 days of observed history at the previous scan, 4 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

### 2026-11-02 (score 70, +1)

- [cosmetic] “create_experience” added an optional parameter “releaseNotes”
- [cosmetic] “start_version” added an optional parameter “releaseNotes”

## MCP tools (8)

### `list_experiences` (~31 tokens)

List the Community shelf

Every approved experience currently playable on arcade.fun, with the origin games are served from. Needs no credentials.

### `create_experience` (~305 tokens)

Create an experience

Register a new experience and get its manage key. Returns game, key and the first version id. The key is shown only here and controls the listing forever — save it. This creates a draft; upload_build is what sends it for review.

Input parameters:

- `aspect` (string): Shape on screen. Empty fills the screen.
- `author` (string, required): The creator name players see, 2 to 30 characters.
- `devices` (array): Devices actually tested. Mobile requires touch, voice or camera among inputs.
- `email` (string, required): Reviewer contact address. Players never see it.
- `how` (string): How to take part: the controls and how to begin.
- `inputs` (array, required): How people interact. At least one.
- `kind` (string): 'sdk' if the entry page calls arcade.ready(), otherwise 'web'. Detected from the build too.
- `releaseNotes` (object): Public changelog notes, shown only after this build is approved.
- `rights` (boolean, required): Confirm the experience is yours to share, including its art, music and code.
- `tagline` (string): One line for the cabinet.
- `terms` (boolean, required): Confirm you agree to the arcade.fun terms and community guidelines.
- `title` (string, required): What the experience is called, 2 to 60 characters.
- `wallet` (string, required): Solana address that receives this listing's creator trading fees. Every public listing launches with its own coin.

### `start_version` (~77 tokens)

Start a new version

Open a new version slot for an experience you already own. The live approved version keeps playing until the new one is reviewed.

Input parameters:

- `game` (string, required): The 12-character game id.
- `key` (string, required): That game's manage key.
- `releaseNotes` (object): Public changelog notes, shown only after this build is approved.

### `upload_build` (~267 tokens)

Upload a build

Send the browser build for a version and publish it. One HTML file, or a zip with index.html at its root. A build that passes the sandbox checks goes live immediately: the result has `live: true` and the play URL. Otherwise `live: false` and `waiting` says why, either a list of things to fix or that this arcade reviews that upload by hand. Also returns file count, size, engine and whether the arcade SDK was detected. If the zip has several pages and no index.html, the result asks which page starts it — answer with set_entry.

Input parameters:

- `content_base64` (string, required): The .html or .zip file, base64 encoded. Up to 24 MB decoded.
- `entry` (string): Start page inside a zip, if it is not index.html.
- `filename` (string, required): The file's name, so the type is read correctly: e.g. index.html or build.zip.
- `key` (string, required): The game's manage key.
- `threads` (boolean): True if the build needs SharedArrayBuffer. Threaded builds open in their own tab and cannot use the SDK bridge. Omit to work it out from the files.
- `version` (string, required): Version id from create_experience or start_version.

### `set_entry` (~60 tokens)

Choose the start page

Name the page that starts the experience, when a zip had several and no index.html.

Input parameters:

- `entry` (string, required): A path the upload result offered, e.g. game/play.html.
- `key` (string, required)
- `version` (string, required)

### `set_cover` (~68 tokens)

Set the cover art

Upload the square cover used for the cabinet, the sharing card and the coin image. PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF up to 4 MB.

Input parameters:

- `game` (string, required)
- `image_base64` (string, required): The image, base64 encoded.
- `key` (string, required)

### `set_trailer` (~66 tokens)

Set the trailer

Upload the MP4 played when the experience's link is shared. Without one the platform builds an animated title card from the cover instead.

Input parameters:

- `game` (string, required)
- `key` (string, required)
- `video_base64` (string, required): The MP4, base64 encoded.

### `experience_status` (~47 tokens)

Check an experience

Where an experience stands: its details, its coin plan, any note from the reviewers, and every version with its status.

Input parameters:

- `game` (string, required)
- `key` (string, required)
