## MCP tools (11)

### `fp_search_funds` (~367 tokens)

Search and rank funds

Search Iranian mutual funds and ETFs by name, type or manager, and rank them by return or size.

Use for "best fixed income funds this year", "biggest gold funds", "funds managed by X". Each row has reg_no and
group_id: pass them to fp_fund, fp_history or fp_compare. Returns are percent; size is billion Toman.

Input parameters:

- `ascending` (boolean): True lists the lowest first.
- `exchange_traded`: True: only funds traded on the exchange like shares (ETFs, with a ticker). False: only funds you buy and redeem at NAV. Omit for both.
- `fund_type`: Type id or name: 4 fixed income (درآمد ثابت), 5 gold/commodity, 6 equity (سهام), 7 mixed (مختلط), 21 sector, 22 leveraged, 23 index, 25 pension... English words work too: fixed_income, gold, equity,…
- `include_market_makers` (boolean): Also list market-maker funds (type 11, over 1000 series, rarely wanted).
- `limit` (integer): Rows to return.
- `manager`: Part of the fund manager's name, e.g. 'آگاه'.
- `min_age_years`: Only funds older than this; use it so 'annual' returns are not from a young fund.
- `min_size_bn_toman`: Only funds at least this big, in billion Toman.
- `query`: Part of the fund name, ticker or manager, Persian (e.g. 'کیان', 'طلا', 'آگاه').
- `sort_by` (string): Ranking column; returns are percent over that period.

### `fp_fund_types` (~82 tokens)

Fund types and averages

List fund types (equity, fixed income, gold, mixed...) with fund counts, total size and average returns.

Use first to learn the type ids for fp_search_funds, or for "how are equity funds doing vs fixed income".
Returns are the average percent for the type; allocation is the average share of stock/bond/cash/deposit.

### `fp_fund` (~121 tokens)

Fund details

Get one fund in full: NAV, returns, size, allocation, investors, manager, auditor, custodian, website.

Use after fp_search_funds. For a price series use fp_history; to put several side by side use fp_compare.

Input parameters:

- `group_id`: Series number from the search row; leave empty for the fund's first series.
- `on_date`: YYYY-MM-DD to see the fund as of an earlier day.
- `reg_no` (string, required): Fund registration number from fp_search_funds, e.g. '12288'.

### `fp_history` (~219 tokens)

Fund history

Get a fund's daily history: NAV, returns, size and flows, investor mix or dividends, at most 60 points.

Use for "how did this fund move in the last 6 months" or "are investors putting money in". Oldest first. The
result also has the NAV change over the window (nav) or the net units issued minus redeemed (size).

Input parameters:

- `days` (integer): How many latest trading days to cover (about 250 per year).
- `group_id`: Series number from the search row; leave empty for the first series.
- `reg_no` (string, required): Fund registration number from fp_search_funds.
- `series` (string): nav: price per unit (issue/redeem/statistical NAV, rial). returns: the six rolling returns (percent). size: net assets (billion Toman) and units issued/redeemed per day (flows). investors: share of u…

### `fp_compare` (~101 tokens)

Compare funds

Put 2 to 8 funds side by side: type, size, NAV, returns for every period, allocation, manager.

Use after fp_search_funds when the user is choosing between funds. Ids are the reg_no (and group_id) of search rows.

Input parameters:

- `funds` (array, required): 2 to 8 funds as 'regNo' or 'regNo-groupId', e.g. ['12288-1', '11695'].

### `fp_managers` (~98 tokens)

Fund managers

Rank fund management companies by total assets under management, with their fund count and typical return.

Use for "which companies run the most funds". Pass a manager name from here to fp_search_funds(manager=...).
avg_annual_return_pct only covers that manager's funds older than one year.

Input parameters:

- `limit` (integer): Managers to return.
- `query`: Part of a manager's name to filter, e.g. 'کارگزاری'.

### `fp_indices` (~143 tokens)

Market overview and indices

Show the Tehran and Farabourse market summary and rank the 65 market and industry indices by return.

Use for "how is the bourse today", "which industries are up this year", "what is the total index". Each index has an
ins_code: pass it to fp_index_history for its daily values. The first block is the market overview.

Input parameters:

- `limit` (integer): Indices to return.
- `query`: Part of an index name, Persian, e.g. 'شاخص کل', 'بانک', 'خودرو', 'فلزات'.
- `sort_by` (string): Ranking column; returns are percent over that period.

### `fp_index_history` (~142 tokens)

Index history

Get the daily history of one market or industry index, oldest first, at most 60 evenly spaced points.

Use after fp_indices for "how did the bourse index move this year" or to compare an industry with the fund
market. The value series also has the change over the window.

Input parameters:

- `days` (integer): Latest trading days to cover (about 250 per year).
- `ins_code` (string, required): Index ins_code from fp_indices, e.g. '32097828799138957' (total index).
- `series` (string): value: daily close with the day's low and high. returns: the six rolling returns (percent).

### `fp_stocks` (~229 tokens)

Search and rank stocks

Search and rank listed shares traded on the last trading day: top gainers, losers, most traded, by industry.

Use for "biggest gainers today", "most traded banks", "find the ticker of X". Each row has ins_code and symbol: pass
the symbol to fp_stock for the full quote. Prices are rial, value is billion Toman. Shares that did not trade are
left out.

Input parameters:

- `ascending` (boolean): True lists the lowest first (biggest losers for change_pct).
- `industry`: Industry group name or code, e.g. 'بانک', 'خودرو', '27'. fp_industries lists them.
- `limit` (integer): Rows to return.
- `market`: bourse: Tehran Stock Exchange; farabourse: Iran Farabourse; farabourse_base: its base market.
- `query`: Part of the ticker or company name, Persian, e.g. 'فولاد'.
- `sort_by` (string): change_pct: today's gain (closing price vs yesterday). value: traded value.

### `fp_stock` (~133 tokens)

Stock quote

Get one listed share in full: last trade, range, order book, buyers and sellers, period returns, industry.

Use after fp_stocks or when the user names a ticker. Prices are rial. The 5-level order book and the retail vs
institutional counts are the last published ones. Set history_days for daily OHLC rows (newest first).

Input parameters:

- `history_days` (integer): Also return this many latest trading days of OHLC rows (0 for none).
- `symbol` (string, required): Ticker, Persian, e.g. 'فولاد', or the ins_code from fp_stocks.

### `fp_industries` (~103 tokens)

Industry trading

Rank the stock-market industries by trading on the last day: traded value, volume, number of trades.

Use for "which industries had the most money flowing today". Use the industry name in fp_stocks(industry=...) to see
its shares, or fp_indices(query=...) for its index and returns.

Input parameters:

- `limit` (integer): Industries to return.
- `sort_by` (string): value: traded value; volume: shares; trades: count.

### Is the Fipiran Funds MCP server safe to use?

Fipiran Funds scores 66 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. We found no known CVEs affecting it as of 5 November 2026. Its build provenance is signed and verified. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the Fipiran Funds MCP server expose?

Fipiran Funds exposes 11 tools: fp_search_funds, fp_fund_types, fp_fund, fp_history, fp_compare, and 6 more. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 1,738 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Is the Fipiran Funds MCP server still maintained?
