## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-08-03.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 87/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - Only part of the dependency tree could be resolved (106 of 110), so this covers what we could see, not the whole tree.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - Only part of the dependency tree could be resolved (106 of 110), so this covers what we could see, not the whole tree.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 45/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Provenance check failed: no build-provenance attestation is published.
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 133 days ago).
  - Disclosure check failed: no security disclosure policy was found in the source repository.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 77/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Tool/resource definitions use about 475 tokens (~95/item across 5 items; 5 tools + 0 resources), lean.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 0/100
  - Stability not yet verified: not enough scan history yet (needs a 30-day window).
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

**Unverified: 1 category.** A category scored 0 because we could not verify it: a data source with nothing on this package, evidence we could not reach, or a check we could not run. We only credit what we can confirm.

## MCP tools (5)

### `dir_tree` (~101 tokens)

Generate a visual directory tree structure (like the `tree` command). Shows files and folders with configurable depth and ignore patterns.

Input parameters:

- `dir_path` (string, required): Absolute path to the directory
- `ignore_patterns` (array): Patterns to ignore (default: node_modules, .git, dist, __pycache__, .next, .cache, coverage)
- `max_depth` (number): Maximum depth to traverse (default: 5, 0 = unlimited)

### `file_stats` (~67 tokens)

Analyze a directory: total files, total size, file count by extension, largest files, newest/oldest files.

Input parameters:

- `dir_path` (string, required): Absolute path to the directory
- `max_depth` (number): Maximum depth to traverse (default: 10, 0 = unlimited)

### `duplicate_finder` (~80 tokens)

Find duplicate files by comparing size and MD5 hash. Returns groups of duplicates with paths and wasted space.

Input parameters:

- `dir_path` (string, required): Absolute path to the directory
- `max_depth` (number): Maximum depth to traverse (default: 10)
- `min_size` (number): Minimum file size in bytes to consider (default: 1)

### `code_counter` (~64 tokens)

Count lines of code by programming language: total lines, code lines, comment lines, blank lines (like cloc/scc).

Input parameters:

- `dir_path` (string, required): Absolute path to the directory
- `max_depth` (number): Maximum depth to traverse (default: 10)

### `file_search` (~163 tokens)

Search for files by name pattern (glob), content (regex), size range, and/or date range.

Input parameters:

- `content_pattern` (string): Regex pattern to search within file contents
- `dir_path` (string, required): Absolute path to the directory to search
- `max_results` (number): Maximum number of results to return (default: 100)
- `max_size` (number): Maximum file size in bytes
- `min_size` (number): Minimum file size in bytes
- `modified_after` (string): ISO date string - only files modified after this date
- `modified_before` (string): ISO date string - only files modified before this date
- `name_pattern` (string): Glob pattern for file names (e.g. "**/*.ts", "*.json")
