## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-08-03.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 87/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - Only part of the dependency tree could be resolved (95 of 99), so this covers what we could see, not the whole tree.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - Only part of the dependency tree could be resolved (95 of 99), so this covers what we could see, not the whole tree.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 19/100
  - Repository check failed: the declared repository URL returned HTTP 404.
  - Provenance check failed: no build-provenance attestation is published.
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 45 days ago).
  - Security-disclosure policy not yet verified: we couldn't inspect the source repository.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 77/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Tool/resource definitions use about 386 tokens (~96/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), lean.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 0/100
  - Stability not yet verified: not enough scan history yet (needs a 30-day window).
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

**Unverified: 1 category.** A category scored 0 because we could not verify it: a data source with nothing on this package, evidence we could not reach, or a check we could not run. We only credit what we can confirm.

## MCP tools (4)

### `count_tokens` (~92 tokens)

Count the tokens in a piece of text and show the input cost across common LLM models (or one model if specified). Use before sending a prompt to know its size and price.

Input parameters:

- `model` (string): Optional model id (e.g. gpt-4o, claude-sonnet-4). Omit to compare across common models.
- `text` (string, required): The text/prompt to measure.

### `estimate_cost` (~104 tokens)

Estimate the per-call and monthly cost of a prompt for a given model, including assumed completion tokens and call volume. Use to forecast LLM spend.

Input parameters:

- `completion_tokens` (number): Assumed output tokens per call (default 0).
- `model` (string): Model id (default gpt-4o).
- `monthly_calls` (number): Calls per month, to project monthly/yearly spend (default 0).
- `text` (string, required): The input prompt.

### `slim_prompt` (~105 tokens)

Compress a prompt with safe, meaning-preserving rules (shorten verbose phrases, drop filler, dedupe lines, normalize whitespace) and report tokens and dollars saved. Use to cut token costs without an LLM call.

Input parameters:

- `model` (string): Model id used to price the savings (default gpt-4o).
- `monthly_calls` (number): Calls per month, to project monthly savings (default 0).
- `text` (string, required): The prompt to slim down.

### `compare_model_costs` (~85 tokens)

Compare the per-call cost of a prompt across many models and recommend the cheapest. Use to route work to the cheapest capable model.

Input parameters:

- `completion_tokens` (number): Assumed output tokens per call (default 0).
- `models` (array): Optional subset of model ids to compare. Omit for all known models.
- `text` (string, required): The input prompt.
