## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-08-03.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 86/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - Only part of the dependency tree could be resolved (94 of 98), so this covers what we could see, not the whole tree.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - Only part of the dependency tree could be resolved (94 of 98), so this covers what we could see, not the whole tree.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 32/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Provenance check failed: no build-provenance attestation is published.
  - License check failed: the license (UNLICENSED) isn't a recognized OSI-approved license.
  - Actively maintained (last published 32 days ago).
  - Disclosure check failed: no security disclosure policy was found in the source repository.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 71/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Tool/resource definitions use about 506 tokens (~84/item across 6 items; 6 tools + 0 resources), lean.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 23/100
  - Stability observed for 7 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## Changelog

Every change recorded for this component, newest first. Days that predate change tracking, or that we cannot explain, say so: "we were watching and nothing happened" and "we were not watching" are different claims.

### 2026-08-03 (score 65, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 20 to 23. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 6 days of observed history at the previous scan, 7 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

## MCP tools (6)

### `pgiq_markets` (~48 tokens)

List every rated power market with its PGIQ tier (1 Prime to 5 Largely closed), 0-100 score, and outlook. Start here to discover market ids.

### `pgiq_rating` (~103 tokens)

Get the full PGIQ Rating and evidence for one market: five-pillar scores (access, availability, cost, momentum, carbon) with rationale, tier, outlook, confidence, thesis, peers, sources, and the latest rating action. Use for a deep read on a specific market.

Input parameters:

- `market` (string, required): Market id, e.g. 'quebec', 'ercot', 'ireland'. Use pgiq_markets to list ids.

### `pgiq_best` (~157 tokens)

Get a ranked best-market decision for siting or scheduling a large electricity load (data center, AI cluster, industrial load). Re-weights the five pillars under a lens and returns the top markets with a one-line rationale. This is the decision endpoint.

Input parameters:

- `group` (string): Optional region filter.
- `lens` (string): Weighting lens. 'default' is carbon-light (hyperscaler/AI). 'carbon' favors clean grids, 'cost' favors cheap power, 'momentum' favors proven build-out.
- `limit` (integer): Max results (default 5).
- `min_tier` (integer): Only return markets at this tier or better (1=best, 5=worst).

### `pgiq_developments` (~56 tokens)

Recent dated, cited grid developments (moratoria, tariffs, queue reforms, big builds) across markets, newest first. Optionally filter to one market.

Input parameters:

- `market` (string): Optional market id to filter to.

### `pgiq_grid` (~66 tokens)

Grid snapshot for one market: carbon intensity (gCO2/kWh), price, fuel mix, demand, firm headroom and peak stress. The inputs for carbon- and cost-aware scheduling.

Input parameters:

- `market` (string, required): Market id, e.g. 'quebec'.

### `pgiq_cheapest_window` (~76 tokens)

The cheapest hours to run a flexible load. With a market, returns its typical daily price shape and cheapest window; without one, returns the cheapest grids ranked by trough price. Modelled daily shape, not a real-time forecast.

Input parameters:

- `market` (string): Optional market id. Omit for the cross-market ranking.
