## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 100/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - No known CVEs affecting this package version or its production dependencies.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - No production dependencies, so there is no dependency health to assess.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 97/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Cryptographically verified build provenance (signed, bound to pipeworx-io/mcp-wikidata-sparql).
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 7 days ago).
  - Disclosure check failed: no security disclosure policy was found in the source repository.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 68/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Tool/resource definitions use about 632 tokens (~105/item across 6 items; 6 tools + 0 resources), lean.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 23/100
  - Stability observed for 7 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 85/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 55% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 6 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 7 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.

## MCP tools (6)

### `query` (~81 tokens)

Run a SPARQL query against the Wikidata Query Service. Returns JSON bindings by default.

Input parameters:

- `format` (string): json (default) | xml | csv | tsv | text/html
- `query` (string): Alias for `sparql`.
- `sparql` (string): SPARQL query text. Also accepts `query` as an alias.

### `current_officeholder` (~184 tokens)

Who currently holds a political office / leadership position for a place — answers "who is the current mayor of London", "who is the prime minister of Japan", "president of France", "governor of California", "who leads <city/country>". Give the place or organization name; returns the current head of government (mayor / premier / prime minister) and head of state (president / monarch) with their name and start date, from Wikidata. Coverage is best for countries and major cities; small municipalities may not be recorded.

Input parameters:

- `lang` (string): Language for names (default en; use e.g. "pt" for Portuguese place/person names).
- `of` (string, required): The place or organization, e.g. "London", "Japan", "California", "São Paulo". Resolved to a Wikidata entity automatically.

### `instances_of` (~84 tokens)

Convenience: list all items that are an instance of a Wikidata class.

Input parameters:

- `entity_id` (string, required): Class id (e.g. "Q5" = humans, "Q5398426" = TV series)
- `lang` (string): Language for labels (default en)
- `limit` (number): Max items (default 100, max 10000)

### `subclasses_of` (~75 tokens)

Return all subclasses of a Wikidata class via transitive P279 (subclass-of) traversal; takes a Wikidata entity id (e.g. Q11424) and returns labelled subclass items up to the specified limit.

Input parameters:

- `entity_id` (string, required)
- `lang` (string)
- `limit` (number)

### `properties_of` (~56 tokens)

Convenience: all statements (property → value) about an entity.

Input parameters:

- `entity_id` (string, required): Item id (e.g. "Q42" = Douglas Adams)
- `lang` (string)
- `limit` (number)

### `entities_at` (~93 tokens)

Geo-spatial query: items near a point. Use instance_of to filter by class.

Input parameters:

- `instance_of` (string): Class id filter (e.g. "Q33506" = museum)
- `lang` (string)
- `latitude` (number, required)
- `limit` (number)
- `longitude` (number, required)
- `radius_km` (number): Search radius in km (default 1)
