## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-04.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 100/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - No known CVEs affecting this package version or its production dependencies.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - No production dependencies, so there is no dependency health to assess.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 97/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Cryptographically verified build provenance (signed, bound to pipeworx-io/mcp-tga-artg).
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 6 days ago).
  - Disclosure check failed: no security disclosure policy was found in the source repository.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 64/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 987 tokens (~246/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 0/100
  - Stability not yet verified: not enough scan history yet (needs a 30-day window).
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 4 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 5 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

**Unverified: 1 category.** A category scored 0 because we could not verify it: a data source with nothing on this package, evidence we could not reach, or a check we could not run. We only credit what we can confirm.

## MCP tools (4)

### `artg_search` (~408 tokens)

Search the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) — every medicine, biological and medical device approved for supply in Australia — by product name, active ingredient, sponsor, or manufacturer. Returns each entry's ARTG ID, entry type (e.g. "Medicine Registered", "Medicine Listed"), sponsor, active ingredients, status, and links to its Product Information (PI, prescriber label) and Consumer Medicine Information (CMI, patient leaflet) documents. Answers "is X approved in Australia", "which Australian products contain ibuprofen", "who sponsors X in Australia". This calls the TGA's own JSON web service directly (data.tga.gov.au) rather than the interactive ARTG Search web tool. Paged: the response carries total, has_more and next_offset — pass offset to fetch the next page. Example: artg_search({ ingredient: "paracetamol" }); artg_search({ ingredient: "amoxicillin", offset: 100 }). Keyless.

Input parameters:

- `entry_type` (string): Restrict to an ARTG entry type; matches its start, e.g. "Medicine", "Medicine Registered", "Medicine Listed", "Biological", "Medical Device"
- `ingredient` (string): Active ingredient, e.g. "paracetamol", "ibuprofen"
- `limit` (number): Max entries to return (default 25, max 100)
- `manufacturer` (string): Manufacturer name
- `name` (string): Product/trade name, e.g. "Panadol"
- `offset` (number): Number of matching entries to skip (0-based). Use next_offset from the previous response to page.
- `product` (string): Product name fragment (device/product-level, distinct from name)
- `query` (string): Alias of name, accepted because routers and callers commonly send "query". Prefer name or ingredient.
- `sponsor` (string): Sponsor (marketing-authorisation holder) name, e.g. "Pfizer"

### `artg_entry` (~122 tokens)

Full Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) record for one entry, by ARTG ID (LicenceId, from artg_search). Returns sponsor, every active/excipient ingredient with strength, dosage form, route of administration, standard/specific indications, status and start date, and links to the Product Information (PI) and Consumer Medicine Information (CMI) documents. Example: artg_entry({ id: "10109" }). Keyless.

Input parameters:

- `id` (string, required): ARTG number (LicenceId), e.g. "10109"

### `artg_list` (~240 tokens)

Walk the ENTIRE Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), in ARTG ID order, 100 entries per page — for bulk ingestion or counting, not for answering a question about one drug (use artg_search for that). Optionally restrict to one entry type ("Medicine Registered" ≈ 20,000 prescription/registered medicines; "Medicine" ≈ 34,000 incl. listed). Returns total, has_more and next_offset; pass offset to continue. Each row carries ARTG ID, name, entry type, sponsor, active ingredients, status, start date and PI/CMI links; use artg_entry for indications. Example: artg_list({ entry_type: "Medicine Registered", offset: 0 }). Keyless.

Input parameters:

- `entry_type` (string): Restrict to an ARTG entry type; matches its start, e.g. "Medicine", "Medicine Registered", "Medical Device". Omit for the whole register.
- `limit` (number): Entries per page (default and max 100)
- `offset` (number): Entries to skip (0-based). Use next_offset from the previous page.

### `artg_recent` (~161 tokens)

New entries added to the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) since a date — newly registered or listed medicines, biologicals and devices approved for supply in Australia. Covers NEW entries only: cancellations and variations to existing entries are not dated by the source and are not reported. Scans the newest ~500 entries; reports complete=false if the date is further back than that. Example: artg_recent({ since: "2026-09-15", entry_type: "Medicine" }). Keyless.

Input parameters:

- `entry_type` (string): Restrict to an ARTG entry type, e.g. "Medicine", "Medicine Registered"
- `since` (string, required): ISO date (YYYY-MM-DD); entries whose start date is on or after it
