## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 100/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - No known CVEs affecting this package version or its production dependencies.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - No production dependencies, so there is no dependency health to assess.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 97/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Cryptographically verified build provenance (signed, bound to pipeworx-io/mcp-sec-nmfp).
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 0 days ago).
  - Disclosure check failed: no security disclosure policy was found in the source repository.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 70/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 477 tokens (~159/item across 3 items; 3 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 23/100
  - Stability observed for 7 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.

  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 3 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 4 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (3)

### `nmfp_security_holders` (~185 tokens)

Which US money market funds hold paper from a given issuer, from SEC Form N-MFP monthly portfolio filings — the reverse of a fund fact sheet, which makes you name the fund first. Give an issuer name (e.g. "Federal Home Loan Bank", "JPMorgan") or a CUSIP. Returns each fund holding it, the fund family, the security title, investment category and maturity dates. Answers "which money market funds are exposed to this issuer", "who holds this bank's commercial paper".

Input parameters:

- `issuer` (string, required): Issuer name or fragment ("Federal Home Loan Bank"), or a 9-character CUSIP.
- `limit` (number): Maximum holdings to return, 1-200 (default 50).
- `period` (string): Reporting period id from nmfp_periods. Omit for the most recent published month.

### `nmfp_fund_holdings` (~171 tokens)

The portfolio a US money market fund reported to the SEC on Form N-MFP for one month: every security it held, with issuer, title, investment category (Treasury debt, government agency debt, repurchase agreement, financial company commercial paper, certificate of deposit) and maturity dates. Give the fund or series name ("Fidelity Government Money Market", "Vanguard Federal"). Answers "what is this money market fund invested in", "how much Treasury paper does it hold".

Input parameters:

- `fund` (string, required): Fund registrant or series name, or a fragment of it.
- `limit` (number): Maximum holdings to return, 1-500 (default 100).
- `period` (string): Reporting period id from nmfp_periods. Omit for the most recent published month.

### `nmfp_periods` (~65 tokens)

Which SEC Form N-MFP monthly reporting periods are published, newest first, with the date range each covers. Money market funds file monthly and SEC posts a period a few days after it closes. Use this to pick a period argument or to see how current the data is.
