## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-04.

- **Endpoint Security**: 74/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 59/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1508 tokens (~377/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 30/100
  - Stability observed for 9 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 4 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 5 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a current MCP spec version (2026-07-28).

## MCP tools (4)

### `list_retirement_calculators` (~96 tokens)

List the retirement calculators

Lists Retirement Atlas's 37 countries: country code, currency, which calculation each uses (uk-drawdown, au-super or income-gap), the calculator page, the methodology and official reference sources. With a country code, returns that country only, with its full input schema.

Input parameters:

- `country` (string): Optional country code, e.g. "uk", "au", "us", "de", "jp".

### `calculate_uk_pension_drawdown` (~358 tokens)

UK pension drawdown projection

Projects UK pension drawdown month by month: the pot after any upfront tax-free cash, first-year net income after an estimate of UK or Scottish income tax, the age the pot runs out (if it does) and the final balance. The user's State Pension forecast is an input; it is never inferred. All fields are required; amounts in GBP, rates in percent per year.

Input parameters:

- `age` (integer, required): Starting age; does not establish pension access; whole years.
- `endAge` (integer, required): End of projection; must exceed age; whole years.
- `fees` (number, required): Annual percentage fee, percent
- `growth` (number, required): Nominal annual investment return, percent before fees
- `include_projection` (boolean): Also return annual cash-flow rows (default false: a compact summary).
- `increaseWithdrawals` (boolean, required): Increase withdrawals once per year with the entered inflation.
- `inflation` (number, required): Annual inflation, percent
- `monthlyWithdrawal` (number, required): Requested gross withdrawal, GBP per month
- `otherIncome` (number, required): Other taxable income, GBP per year in today's money
- `pot` (number, required): Starting pension capital, GBP
- `region` (string, required): Standard non-savings income tax region.
- `remainingAllowance` (number, required): Confirmed remaining standard lump sum allowance, GBP
- `statePension` (number, required): User-supplied State Pension forecast, GBP per year in today's money; never inferred
- `statePensionAge` (integer, required): User-supplied pension payment start age; whole years.
- `takeTaxFreeCash` (boolean, required): Remove upfront tax-free cash from invested capital. That cash is not spent or reinvested by this model.

### `calculate_australia_super` (~408 tokens)

Australian super projection

Projects an Australian superannuation balance to retirement (employer contributions, salary sacrifice, after-tax contributions, contribution tax and current caps, fees, inflation) and then retirement spending: the balance at retirement in nominal and today's dollars, a level annual budget, the gap to a target income and the age the money runs out. The Age Pension amount is an input; eligibility is not calculated. All fields are required; amounts in AUD, rates in percent per year.

Input parameters:

- `afterTax` (number, required): After-tax contribution, AUD per month in today's money
- `age` (integer, required): Current age; whole years.
- `agePension` (number, required): User-supplied Age Pension estimate, AUD per year in today's money; eligibility not calculated
- `annualFixedFees` (number, required): Fixed fees, AUD per year in today's money
- `balance` (number, required): Current super balance, AUD
- `employerRate` (number, required): Employer contribution assumption, percent of salary; not a payroll liability calculation
- `endAge` (integer, required): Projection end age; must exceed retirement age; whole years.
- `fees` (number, required): Annual percentage fee, percent
- `growth` (number, required): Nominal annual return after investment earnings tax, before fees, percent
- `include_projection` (boolean): Also return annual cash-flow rows (default false: a compact summary).
- `inflation` (number, required): Annual inflation, percent
- `pensionAge` (integer, required): User-supplied Age Pension payment start age; whole years.
- `retirementAge` (integer, required): Retirement age; at least current age and 60; accumulation ends by 75; whole years.
- `salary` (number, required): Annual salary excluding super, AUD
- `salaryGrowth` (number, required): Nominal annual salary growth, percent
- `salarySacrifice` (number, required): Extra pre-tax contribution, AUD per month in today's money
- `targetIncome` (number, required): Target retirement spending, AUD per year in today's money

### `calculate_retirement_income_gap` (~401 tokens)

Retirement income gap

Retirement income gap for one of 35 countries (nl, se, dk, no, fi, is, cz, at, ch, pt, us, cn, de, jp, in, fr, it, ca, br, ru, kr, mx, es, id, tr, sa, pl, be, ar, ie, ae, sg, il, th, nz): from accessible savings, monthly saving, retirement spending and up to three pension streams the user enters (after tax, in today's money), the savings at retirement, the capital needed, the capital gap, the first-year monthly gap and the age the money runs out. It does not calculate national pension entitlements. All fields are required; amounts in the country's currency (see list_retirement_calculators), rates in percent per year; use monthly 0 for unused pension streams.

Input parameters:

- `age` (integer, required): Current age; whole years.
- `balance` (number, required): Accessible savings in country currency; exclude capital behind entered pension payments
- `country` (string, required): Country code from list_retirement_calculators (not uk or au, which have their own tools).
- `endAge` (integer, required): Projection end age; must exceed retirement age; whole years.
- `include_projection` (boolean): Also return annual cash-flow rows (default false: a compact summary).
- `incomes` (array, required): Exactly three user-supplied pension streams. Use zero monthly amount for unused streams. No entitlement or tax estimation.
- `inflation` (number, required): Annual inflation, percent
- `monthlySaving` (number, required): Monthly savings in today's country currency
- `netReturn` (number, required): Nominal annual return after taxes and fees, percent; inflation is deducted by the model
- `retirementAge` (integer, required): Work-stop age; at least current age; not an entitlement age; whole years.
- `spending` (number, required): Monthly retirement spending in today's country currency
