## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-10-24.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 75/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - CVE check failed: an unpatched critical CVE affects this package; the score is capped at 0.
  - Runs setuptools.build_meta at install time, a recognised build step with no custom scripting around it.
  - Dependency health was assessed across the 59 of 60 dependencies we could resolve, so this covers what we could see, not the whole tree.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 100/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Cryptographically verified build provenance (signed, bound to JHarp199345/S-Bike-Training-Hub).
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 10 days ago).
  - Publishes a security disclosure policy (SECURITY.md).
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 78/100
  - 100% of prompts and resources have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the item's name).
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 17513 tokens (~141/item across 124 items; 124 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 33/100
  - Stability observed for 10 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 92/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 77% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 75/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - 0 of 1 tool(s) whose name or description implies an irreversible operation declare an MCP destructiveHint annotation; "get_transfer" implies "transfer" and declares readOnlyHint instead, contradicting what its own name says it does.
  - An AI judge read all 125 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (124)

### `get_activity_report` (~116 tokens)

Read ONE imported completed workout with watch observations and existing Hub load estimates. Swim: SWOLF, average/best distance per watch-counted stroke, pool length, stroke-specific metrics and excluded drill lengths. Run: pace, cadence, steps, available form metrics and laps. Energy rate: estimated metabolic watts and kcal/min with energy source and duration basis, separate from measured cycling power. Missing values stay unknown. Read from calendar activity_id; does not change records, load or holds.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string, required): Imported activity ID

### `record_activity_report` (~168 tokens)

Record the athlete’s explicit effort and discomfort for one imported activity, planned or unplanned, through the normal session-report protocol. Preserves prescriptions and completed activity, adds no duplicate load. Existing symptom/progression rules apply; this does not recalibrate a recovery curve or clear a hold. Read get_activity_report again afterward and ask for delayed response.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string, required): Imported activity ID
- `date` (string, required): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `effort` (string, required): Compared with intended effort
- `heart_rate_issue` (boolean)
- `note` (string): Athlete’s own report
- `rpe` (integer): Whole-session effort, 0 rest to 10 maximum; ask, do not infer
- `symptoms` (array)

### `get_recorded_swim_draft` (~75 tokens)

Read watch-detected pool lengths and strokes from an imported FIT swim into an editable transcription. Drill mode is unidentified: ask which drills or kicks were performed. Flags missing lengths and mismatched totals. Does not approve, schedule, log or change load.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string, required): Imported swim activity ID

### `record_completed_swim_details` (~173 tokens)

Attach the athlete’s actual swim sets and coaching summary to ONE imported watch swim, preserving its recorded time/distance/load and avoiding duplicate sessions. Preview with save=false first, review parser issues and distance differences, then save=true. Text or section fields, unit yd/m. Do not invent unreported drills or benefits.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string, required): Imported swim activity ID
- `distance_difference_reviewed` (boolean)
- `fields` (object)
- `pool_length` (number)
- `repeats` (integer): Main block repeats
- `save` (boolean)
- `summary` (string): Short workout-specific explanation of reported work and purpose; distinguish stimulus from measured improvement
- `text` (string): Actual swim sets, sections and drills
- `unit` (string): Distance unit

### `preview_strength_workout` (~132 tokens)

Parse the athlete’s text with the same deterministic parser used by the Hub creator. Fields warmup/main/cooldown or text; returns unresolved text, per-set dose and existing load evaluation. Nothing is scheduled or logged. Clarify unresolved input before saving. Library rules still apply.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `fields` (object)
- `repeats` (integer): Main block repeats
- `text` (string): Workout text, e.g. Lat pulldowns 3 x 10 at 100 lb tempo 3-0-3

### `record_completed_lift_details` (~310 tokens)

Parse and log actual exercise details on ONE imported gym activity, even without a scheduled lift. Preview save=false, review calculated per-set dose, then save=true and read back. Preserves prescriptions; repeat calls update the same source-linked log. Text accepts planned effort: 7 and reported effort: 6 independently, RPE lists, 60 yd per trip, both magnets level 2. With an existing source-linked log, a short correction such as TANK M4 level 1 set 3 reported effort 9 or first three sets were a warm-up is previewed against that workout; unsupported wording is rejected. Saved fields rebuild from actual set records. Metadata is one entry per parsed exercise for kind/style/regions/equipment/sled and athlete-reported integer rpe or per_set_rpe. Missing effort stays unknown; chart equivalents are not lifted pounds or pushing force. Record uncertain interpretations in note and summary.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string, required): Imported gym activity ID
- `exercise_metadata` (array)
- `fields` (object)
- `name` (string): Completed session name
- `note` (string): Athlete notes preserved separately from parsed exercise dose
- `rpe` (integer): Reported overall session effort
- `save` (boolean)
- `summary` (string): Workout-specific summary; distinguish work from improvement
- `text` (string): Actual exercises with sets, reps, weight and tempo
- `wellness` (integer): Reported wellness

### `save_completed_workout_to_library` (~112 tokens)

Save an approved completed workout of any recorded sport to the workout library. Preview save=false, then save=true. Watch readings and reports stay linked to the original activity. Changes to weights or reps keep the same movement history; changed movements create a separate routine. No new activity or calendar prescription.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string, required): Imported activity ID
- `library_id` (string): Optional selected existing movement routine ID
- `name` (string): Optional library name
- `save` (boolean)

### `preview_sled_effort` (~131 tokens)

Estimate TANK M4/MX friction-sled weight equivalent from Torque’s published speed/level chart. Distance and time per leg; equal front/rear settings. Outside 1–6 mph stays unknown. Not pounds of pushing force, lifted mass, or clearance. RPE cannot identify force. Returns source and uncertainty; changes no logs or model references.

Input parameters:

- `distance_per_leg_m` (number, required)
- `front_level` (integer, required): Front magnetic level
- `rear_level` (integer, required): Rear magnetic level
- `seconds_high` (number, required)
- `seconds_low` (number, required)

### `get_activity_effort_windows` (~84 tokens)

Inspect candidate heart-rate response windows from an imported workout. Timed effort has priority, then the athlete’s duration estimate; HR rise/peak/fall is supporting uncertain evidence, not exact work timing or force. No exercise labels, assumed lag correction, or automatic logging. Ask the athlete to confirm candidates.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string, required): Imported watch activity ID

### `update_session_explanation` (~147 tokens)

Update only a saved workout's plain-language reason for being in the plan. Read its explanation.context_token from get_today or get_training_calendar first. Preserve doses, steps, phase, dates and recovery gates. At check-ins review stale or misleading explanations against the actual phase, neighboring workouts and forecasts. Leave accurate text unchanged. Do not invent a heavy session, physiological benefit, or clearance.

Input parameters:

- `context_token` (string, required): Current explanation context token
- `date` (string, required): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `session_index` (integer, required): Saved session index
- `text` (string, required): Short, clear reason this workout fits the plan (maximum 600 characters)

### `get_coaching_review` (~85 tokens)

Read the next 1–14 days of running/lifting outlook, forecast conflicts, holds, symptoms and evidence-based capacity review candidates. Does not save or clear holds.

Input parameters:

- `days` (integer): Days ahead, including today
- `detail` (boolean): Every daily reading and full capacity candidates (the compact view shows readings at 80% of a limit or over)

### `preview_coaching_change` (~121 tokens)

Preview calendar replacements or an evidence-supported capacity recalibration. Stores a six-hour review draft, without changing training records. Calendar changes replace all sessions on each specified uncompleted date in the next 14 days. Capacity target is running_block or lift_<region>; evidence determines direction and a provisional bounded step, never an arbitrary requested increase.

Input parameters:

- `changes` (array)
- `kind` (string, required): Review type
- `note` (string): Why this change serves the program
- `target` (string): Capacity target: running_block or lift_<region>

### `apply_coaching_change` (~75 tokens)

Apply the exact reviewed coaching draft after explicit athlete approval. Rejects stale state, forecast violations and unresolved restrictions. Read back get_coaching_review and the calendar; this never grants running clearance.

Input parameters:

- `approved` (boolean, required): True only after athlete approval
- `draft_id` (string, required): ID returned by preview_coaching_change

### `get_schedule_adherence` (~82 tokens)

Read completion, partial completion, athlete cancellations and missed sessions separately from changes to prescribed targets. Finished days only. Baseline/revisions are tracked from first observation; earlier edits are unknown. Adherence does not establish fitness improvement.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `days` (integer): Finished days to review

### `get_recent_weeks` (~119 tokens)

The athlete's response to the plan, week by week: planned vs done minutes against their available time, each week's phase and shape (build, consolidation, peak_volume, peak_performance, taper, race), hard sessions, and every missed session with its reason. Read it before deciding whether to build, hold, recover or taper next week. Does not change anything.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `weeks` (integer): Weeks back to include (1-12, default 4)

### `record_missed_session` (~120 tokens)

Record why a planned session didn't happen, in the athlete's words (busy, sick, sore, tired, travel, weather, other). Shown on their calendar and used when you plan the following weeks: illness or soreness argue for holding the build; busy weeks argue for a lighter, more realistic plan.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string, required): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `index` (integer): Which session that day (0 = first)
- `note` (string): Their words
- `reason` (string, required): Why

### `get_bike_setup_request` (~92 tokens)

When the athlete says 'get my bike working' (or their bike won't connect to the hub): read the bike setup request they queued from the hub's welcome page - the bike's Bluetooth name, services, readable values and data packets captured while they pedaled - plus step-by-step instructions, safety rules and the profile format. Start here and follow its what_to_do steps. Does not change anything.

### `capture_bike_data` (~107 tokens)

Record the bike's data packets for a few seconds while the athlete pedals as you asked (e.g. label 'steady 60 rpm', then 'steady 90 rpm') so you can see which bytes follow cadence and power. Listen-only: nothing is sent to the bike. Tell the athlete what to do first.

Input parameters:

- `label` (string): What the athlete is doing, e.g. 'steady 90 rpm'
- `seconds` (integer): 3-30 seconds

### `propose_bike_profile` (~98 tokens)

Propose how the hub should talk to the bike: a profile (data, never code) in the profile_format from get_bike_setup_request. The hub validates it and decodes every captured packet with it, returning averages, ranges and warnings - fix warnings before checking.

Input parameters:

- `note` (string): Your reasoning in a sentence or two, kept with the request
- `profile` (object, required): The bike profile (see profile_format)

### `run_bike_check` (~107 tokens)

Run the hub's guided check with the latest proposed profile: ~40 s while the athlete pedals steadily. It listens, then (if the profile has resistance control) nudges resistance up a few levels in small steps and back down, through the hub's safety rules. ONLY after telling the athlete to pedal steadily and getting their OK. Then ask whether it got harder in the middle.

Input parameters:

- `athlete_ready` (boolean, required): true only after the athlete said they're pedaling steadily and ready

### `record_bike_feel` (~62 tokens)

Record what the athlete felt during the guided check, in their words: harder (the pedals got harder in the middle), no_change, or unsure.

Input parameters:

- `felt` (string, required): What they said
- `note` (string): Anything else they said

### `activate_bike_profile` (~85 tokens)

Make the checked profile the hub's bike - only after the check passed, the athlete felt the resistance change, and they agree. share=true returns a pre-filled GitHub link so they can share the profile and the next owner of this bike needs no assistant (ask them first).

Input parameters:

- `share` (boolean): Return a link to share the profile (athlete's choice)

### `get_training_calendar` (~73 tokens)

Read 1–14 days of saved workout prescriptions, actual completions, reports, phase context and projected load readings. Stable session IDs change when prescriptions change. Does not save or modify training.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `days` (integer): Window length

### `explain_training_reading` (~109 tokens)

Investigate a reading: implemented formula, constants, source hash, profile inputs, baseline, recorded contributors, planned doses and assumptions. Unknown is not zero; these models are provisional.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `metric` (string, required): Metric key: cardio_fatigue, cardio_conditioning, impact_fatigue, muscle_fatigue, run_mechanical, run_recent, swim_recovery, strength, mechanical or lift_<region>

### `get_running_recovery_review` (~62 tokens)

Review the single athlete running recovery time scale, rolling 42-calendar-day evidence, missing/confounded intervals, pooled candidate and validation limits. Read-only. Clean recovery needs feet/legs reports and delayed confirmation; a completed run during a hold is not clearance.

### `record_capacity_followup` (~101 tokens)

Record explicit delayed recovery 1–14 days after a completed, effort-reported session. good/difficult/uncertain are athlete reports, not inferred from silence. Does not change limits, holds or training.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string, required): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `note` (string): Athlete context
- `recovery` (string, required): Reported delayed recovery
- `session_index` (integer, required): Index of the completed session

### `get_capacity_review` (~52 tokens)

Read estimated goal demands, observed sport exposure, gaps and unresolved symptoms. Optional demands previews a read-only scenario. Does not predict finish times, calibrate limits or save a program.

Input parameters:

- `demands` (array)

### `get_adaptation_review` (~29 tokens)

Read progression policy, recent decisions and unresolved localized symptoms before changing workloads. Does not change anything.

### `get_program` (~94 tokens)

Read the saved macro program: goal, phases, weekly session counts and capacity notes, compact by default. detail=true returns the full phases (placements, review criteria), every week and the capacity review, which preview_program needs; phase=<label> returns one phase in full. Does not change anything.

Input parameters:

- `detail` (boolean): Full payload
- `phase` (string): One phase in full, by label or start date

### `preview_program` (~361 tokens)

Preview a draft and optionally compare three starter workload scenarios and forecasts. Does not save or replace the active program.

Input parameters:

- `detail_days` (integer): Focused detail window, at most one week
- `detail_start` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `fields` (object, required): Program fields: capacity_demands [{sport, label, distance_m, duration_min, power_w, weight_kg, reps, sets, weekly_minutes, grade}], start YYYY-MM-DD, optional target date, horizon_days (default84), h…

### `apply_program` (~71 tokens)

Save the exact reviewed preview by draft_id, only with athlete approval. A changed athlete state or expired draft is rejected; retries are idempotent while the draft remains available. Read back get_program and get_training_calendar afterward.

Input parameters:

- `draft_id` (string, required): ID returned by preview_program; expires after six hours

### `get_progress_evidence` (~28 tokens)

Read measured training responses and evidence for improvement; modeled conditioning is not a guaranteed performance gain.

### `get_today` (~90 tokens)

Today's coaching picture: the rider's check-in and morning diagnostic (heart rate at 90 W / 120 W / 60 s later, legs, breathing, sleep, gut call), the verdict with reasons, their normal (baseline), the plan already set, FTP, and the workout list. Start every coaching conversation here.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)

### `get_checkins` (~41 tokens)

Recent daily check-ins, diagnostics, verdicts and plans - the trend over days.

Input parameters:

- `days` (integer): How many days back (default 14)

### `record_checkin` (~473 tokens)

Record or update a day's check-in for the rider (when they tell you in chat). Legs/breathing/sleep 1-10 (legs: 1 fresh, 10 wrecked; feet = feet & bones, 1 fine, 10 very sore); hops = the single-leg hop test, pain-free hops on the worse leg (10 clears running after a block; a poor count past halfway through the plateau adds time); gut is go/easy/no; heart rates in bpm. Returns the verdict.

Input parameters:

- `breathing` (integer): 1-10
- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `feet` (integer): Feet & bones 1-10
- `gut` (string): Their own call
- `hooper_fatigue` (integer): Hooper fatigue 1 very, very low - 7 very, very high
- `hooper_sleep` (integer): Hooper sleep quality 1 very, very good - 7 very, very bad
- `hooper_soreness` (integer): Hooper overall muscle soreness 1-7 (higher worse)
- `hooper_stress` (integer): Hooper stress 1-7 (higher worse)
- `hops` (integer): Pain-free single-leg hops, worse leg (or give each leg)
- `hops_left` (integer): Pain-free hops, left leg
- `hops_right` (integer): Pain-free hops, right leg
- `hr120` (integer): HR at the end of the 120 W push
- `hr90` (integer): HR at the end of the 90 W stage
- `hr_after` (integer): HR 60 s after the push
- `journal` (string): Their journal entry, in their words - kept, not scored
- `legs` (integer): 1-10
- `motivation` (integer): 1-10
- `note` (string): Anything they said
- `pain` (object): Pain by site 0-10 (0 none), only sites they mention: feet, legs, hips, shoulders, other. Pain is separate from soreness.
- `shoulders` (integer): Shoulders 1-10
- `sleep` (integer): 1-10

### `settle_journal_flag` (~124 tokens)

Settle a flag the journal raised (get_checkins shows each day's flags: bone, muscle, illness, better). ONLY on their say-so in chat - never decide it for them. confirm = it's real, count it (bone/muscle read as 6/10 on their slider that day; illness makes heart & lungs easy); dismiss = it's fine; reopen = undo.

Input parameters:

- `action` (string): What they said
- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `id` (string): The flag id

### `set_plan` (~417 tokens)

Write today's plan onto the Coach page: the verdict (go/easy/rest), your coaching note to them (plain, specific: what to ride, how it should feel, when to stop), and optionally the workout to ride (workout_id from list_workouts or a create tool).

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `focus`: What the ride is coaching for - a cadence range plus a watt range that auto-shift steers toward: 'cadence' (65-80 rpm, zone 2: builds the cadence habit), 'grit' (50-65 rpm, 76-90% FTP: force; loads t…
- `minutes` (integer): The time goal for the day's session

- `sport` (string): The day's marker on the Coach page's week: ride, swim, run, walk, gym, test, rest, other (swims can't go on the COROS calendar - this is where they live)
- `verdict` (string): go, easy or rest
- `workout_id` (string): Workout to ride today (empty string clears it)

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `make_today_plan` (boolean)
- `name` (string, required): Name

### `get_load` (~128 tokens)

Training load by body system across ALL sports (runs, swims, gym, rides): ENGINE (heart/lungs; watts on the bike, heart rate calibrated to watts elsewhere), IMPACT (feet/bones; running and walking x body weight), MUSCLE (leg force; pedal torque, gym effort, running). Each has fitness, fatigue, form, the acute:chronic ratio and provisional zone, this week's used load versus the current estimated capacity, and a weakest-link readiness verdict with what's limiting. These zones are planning heuristics, not validated injury-risk thresholds. Use this before set_plan.

### `get_programming` (~324 tokens)

Programming a swim, bike or run session: the phase (counted back from the next race: base, build, peak, taper, recovery), the rider's load state for that sport (fresh, moderate, heavy but ready, not ready), the tier cap and the suggested tier (easy, moderate, hard, very hard), and the nearest templates from the research-backed library, filled with the rider's paces (critical swim speed, FTP, a recent 5K) - each with what it trains, what it doesn't, and sources. For swimming also the stroke mix for this block (four strokes out of 100, from the race or the rider's dials), eight reusable swim_profiles with eligibility reasons, selected profile, main-set work ratios, equipment and weekly sequence context. Use swim_profile to preview another eligible module. Profiles are provisional coaching defaults; respect blocked choices. Record swim_profile and the returned swim_plan snapshot on planned swim sessions; adapt its why to the actual goal and projected load. When the sport isn't a good idea today it says why and offers mobility or another sport. Use it before writing any swim, bike or run session; adapt the template, don't invent one; keep the week's core sessions the same for 4-6 weeks and progress them. Lifting uses get_lifting.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `sport` (string): swim, bike or run
- `swim_profile` (string): Swim profile to preview for this session; does not change saved settings

### `set_swim_settings` (~134 tokens)

The rider's swim dials: the stroke mix (free, back, breast, fly out of 100), the drill share (15-30%), and whether the mix follows their race (follow_event, default true) or their dials.

Input parameters:

- `drill_share` (integer): Percent of the session that is drill-then-swim
- `follow_event` (boolean)
- `mix` (object): {free, back, breast, fly} - normalised to 100
- `profile_id` (string): Preferred reusable swim profile; auto chooses by phase, load, recent work and Sunday response

### `run_walk_test` (~361 tokens)

The run-walk test at 60% of a running plateau: day 1 a short run-walk (about 15 min: 1 min easy running, 1-2 min walking, ~5 min of running; stop if pain reaches 5/10), day 2 how walking feels, day 3 how stairs feel (or walking without stairs). No step = the status (not due, ready with anything missing, in progress, or the last verdict). Steps: run_walk {brisk_walk_ok (a brisk 30-min walk without rising discomfort), completed, pain_max 0-10}; walk {walk_feel 0-10, morning_pain, night_pain}; stairs {used_stairs, stairs_feel 0-10, pain_lasting}. Entry needs today's check-in: hops 10 on each leg, feet and legs 3 or less. A good test offers the reviewed early decline (the athlete confirms); anything else retries in 7 days. Ask for each answer; never assume.

Input parameters:

- `brisk_walk_ok` (boolean)
- `completed` (boolean)
- `morning_pain` (boolean)
- `night_pain` (boolean)
- `note` (string): Their words

- `step` (string): Which step to record (leave out for the status)
- `used_stairs` (boolean)
- `walk_feel` (integer): How walking felt, 0 fine - 10 very painful

### `record_weekly_checkin` (~413 tokens)

The Sunday check-in (get_today shows 'weekly' when it's due - Sunday through Tuesday): a look back at the week, asking only about what it held. legs (after riding), feet and hops per leg (after running), shoulders (after swimming), each muscle group the week's lifting worked (lift: {region: 1-10}), and the week overall (1 easy, 10 too much), comparable-session progress (better, same, worse) by sport, and, for a running goal, whether the lower-leg pulling resolved, persisted or was not retested. During a mechanical plateau that report can hold a running session but does not move the accumulated-load curve. It's the calibration anchor: the running, swim and lifting fits weight it most.

Input parameters:

- `feet` (integer): 1-10
- `hops_left` (integer): Pain-free hops, left leg
- `hops_right` (integer): Pain-free hops, right leg
- `legs` (integer): 1-10

- `note` (string): Their words
- `ostrc` (array): OSTRC overuse questionnaire, one entry per problem area: {area: lower_leg|foot|knee|hip|low_back|shoulder|other, participation 0-3, volume 0-4, performance 0-4, pain 0-3} (answer indexes, 0 = no prob…
- `progress` (object): Compared with similar work this week: {bike|run|swim|gym: better|same|worse}
- `run_response` (string): Lower-leg pulling since last week, without provoking a hop just to answer
- `shoulders` (integer): 1-10
- `sunday` (string): The Sunday (YYYY-MM-DD; default: the open one)
- `week` (integer): The week overall, 1 easy - 10 too much

### `get_training_block` (~124 tokens)

Read the persistent four-to-six-week block, all scheduled sessions including two-a-days, cross-sport demanding-session count, planned versus completed minutes and Sunday advance/repeat/hold/reduce reviews. Set start=true to create a block from an already scheduled week; start_date may name a future Monday. Existing future plans are preserved. Forecast minutes are planning proxies, not measured tissue damage or injury predictions.

Input parameters:

- `start` (boolean)
- `start_date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `weeks` (integer): Block duration when starting

### `get_lifting` (~136 tokens)

Lifting and functional strength. Read before planning or scoring a gym session: the rider's RULES (never plan what a 'No ...' rule excludes; use favourites), the coaching GUIDANCE, the STEER (restorative or build, the suggested restorative share of the session and why, from the load the rider carries), sessions the rider built that are waiting for you to score (unscored_sessions), the exercise library, estimated one-rep maxes, recent sessions, the follow-up that's due, and each region's recovery block. Units: the rider's (lb or kg). All load numbers are estimates.

### `get_planning_context` (~378 tokens)

Start here when planning, in two passes, both on the athlete's request. scope=program (pass 1): placeholders for the whole macrocycle - sport, day, role improve or maintain, a minutes band and, for lifting, joint groups - saved with preview_program. scope=week (pass 2): the coming week's real workouts inside those placeholders, drafted with preview_coaching_change kind=calendar (its mirror compares the draft with recent weeks). Returns a brief first: at_a_glance (goal and days to it, the phase now and next, holds, reports well above their usual, each sport's usual week, calibration, health status, events), the last 7 days of reports (journals shortened), the phases or the week, the general playbook, and 'more': an index of sections. Ask for a section only when the decision needs it (sections=['volume'], sport='run'): volume, efficiency, reports in full, calibration, health_history, program, running_gate, playbook for one sport. Reason from it, explain 'why this week', show the draft, and ask: approve, regenerate, or what would you change? Apply only after approval.

Input parameters:

- `detail` (boolean): Efficiency: every session of 90 days; playbook: every sport's topics
- `from` (string): First day of the week to plan, YYYY-MM-DD (default today)
- `scope` (string): program (pass 1) or week (pass 2)
- `sections` (array): Leave out for the brief. Otherwise the sections to return in full: volume, efficiency, reports, calibration, health_history, program, running_gate, playbook (or ['all']).
- `sport` (string): Only this sport in volume, efficiency, calibration and playbook

### `set_sport_baseline` (~162 tokens)

Save the athlete's own calibration for a sport when there's little recorded history: their current routine (now) and their past best (best, with when). Use the athlete's words; it is provisional until recorded weeks and reports confirm it. Ask during setup or whenever a plan looks far too easy or too hard.

Input parameters:

- `best` (object): Past best: the same fields plus when (e.g. '2019' or 'college')
- `note` (string): The athlete's own words about it
- `now` (object): Current routine: sessions_per_week, weekly_km, weekly_minutes, longest_km, longest_minutes, session_km, session_minutes
- `sport` (string): bike, run, swim or lift

### `get_setup_status` (~97 tokens)

Start here with a new athlete, or whenever they ask to set up: what's done and what's next in setup (basics, a health check, sports and experience, current routine, goal/time/days, program, first week), what the hub already knows, and how to ask the next question. Ask one question at a time, help with answers they're unsure of, confirm before saving, then call this again for the next step.

### `save_athlete_basics` (~187 tokens)

Save the athlete's basics from setup: weight (with unit lb or kg), age, gender (female, male, another, prefer_not), sports (bike, run, swim, lift) with experience each (new, returning, regular), optional resting/maximum heart rate and the watch's VO2max, and start (fresh or loaded). Anything not given keeps its saved value. Confirm with the athlete before saving.

Input parameters:

- `age` (integer): Age
- `experience` (object)
- `gender` (string): Their answer
- `hr_max` (integer): Maximum heart rate
- `hr_rest` (integer): Resting heart rate
- `sports` (array)
- `start` (string): fresh or loaded
- `unit` (string): lb or kg
- `vo2max` (number)
- `weight` (number)

### `get_health_history` (~116 tokens)

The health and history records the athlete has chosen to share: the latest pre-exercise screening (ten questions following the ACSM 2015 screening logic: no doctor needed, check before vigorous training, check before starting, or pause and see a doctor), conditions, past and current injuries, medications (marked when they change heart rate) and what a doctor or physiotherapist advised. Read before planning; plan around it as the athlete's own guidance. Never diagnose, never clear anyone to exercise, never override a clinician. Local only.

### `record_health_history` (~251 tokens)

Save what the athlete shares about their health, in their own words, only with their agreement. action=screening with answers {active_now, heart_disease, metabolic_disease, kidney_disease, symptoms, pregnant, bone_joint, heart_rate_medication, supervised_only: true/false; intensity: light/moderate/vigorous} - ask each question as get_health_history words it, one at a time, and help with unsure answers (optional clearance {obtained, date, by, note}); action=add/update/remove with kind condition {name, category, status, since, note}, injury {site, when, status healed/flares/current, aggravated_by, note}, medication {name, affects_heart_rate, note} or guidance {text, source, date}. Kept only on the athlete's computer.

Input parameters:

- `action` (string, required): screening, add, update or remove
- `answers` (object)
- `clearance` (object)
- `id` (string): Record id, for update or remove
- `kind` (string): condition, injury, medication or guidance
- `record` (object): The record's fields, in the athlete's words

### `get_lifting_framework` (~194 tokens)

The joint framework to plan lifting inside: six joints (shoulder, elbow, wrist, spine, hip, knee, ankle) in three groups (upper, trunk, lower), each joint's movement directions, the body regions and which joints they move, load levels (light 30-60%, medium 60-80%, heavy 80-90% of an estimated one-rep max), and the session shapes: one group with 1-3 main exercises, two or three groups with 1-6, plus up to 3 minor ones. Compose original sessions from your own exercise knowledge, giving every exercise region shares; use it for exercise ideas mid-session too, and search the web for exercises when you can. Structure only: training rules are still being written, so plan conservatively. Manual workouts are not bound by it. Read with get_lifting (the rider's rules and maxes).

### `describe_lift_structure` (~162 tokens)

Describe a drafted lift session against the joint framework before planning it: each exercise's joint and group percentages, the session's blend (weighted by sets), the groups its main exercises work (a group counts from 25% of an exercise), whether the shape fits, and the session's classifiers: Type (groups), Duration (main exercises per group), Intensity (light/medium/heavy by % of each lift's estimated max, or of what was moved last time), Style, with each lift against its own last time. Give sets, reps and weight to get them. Describes; it does not judge the session or save anything.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `exercises` (array)

### `design_lift_session` (~320 tokens)

Start here to compose a lifting session inside the classifiers, in one call: Type = the groups (upper, trunk, lower), Duration = main exercises per group (1-3), Intensity = light (30-60% of the estimated max), medium (61-80%) or heavy (81-105%, as far as is safe; never maxing), Style = standard, endurance, power_explosive or power_heavy. Returns the athlete's rules, per group their lifts with the last time done and a target weight, the style's sets and reps, and the two supporting minors (sport support for the sports being built, and core alternating anti-rotation and rotation by week). Leave intensity, style or duration out and the hub recommends them from the phase and the athlete's last sessions (their reports and next-day soreness), with the reasons and those sessions listed; phase=taper also gives the volume cut (40-60%). Choose from it or search the web for exercises that fit, check with describe_lift_structure, then plan_lift_session after the athlete approves.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `duration` (integer): Main exercises per group
- `groups` (array, required)
- `improving` (array): Sports being built (default from the program)
- `intensity` (string): light, medium or heavy
- `phase` (string): Lifting's role now (default from the program)
- `style` (string): How the weight is moved

### `plan_lift_session` (~400 tokens)

Put a scored gym session on a day's plan - one you designed from the rider's goals, rules and the steer (search the web for exercises when you can), or the rider's own draft that you're scoring. Each exercise: name, how (one line), kind, style (restorative/build), sets, reps OR seconds, weight (omit for bodyweight), tempo, per_side, and regions: how the whole movement's strain is shared, as percentages. Replaces the day's gym session (or the one at index); a session already checked off is recalculated. If the rider chose something other than the steer, pass their reason as override. Returns the plan and its evaluation.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `favorite` (boolean)
- `goal_difference_reviewed` (boolean)
- `goal_request_id` (string): Dated brief ID being resolved
- `index` (integer): Which of the day's sessions to replace (default: the first gym session, or add one)
- `library_id` (string): Existing routine to reuse when movements match
- `lifts` (array, required): The exercises, in order
- `minutes` (integer): Minutes (estimated if left out)
- `name` (string): Session name, e.g. 'Rotational core'
- `note` (string): A short note for the rider
- `override` (string): The rider's call when it departs from the steer, in their words
- `typed_workout` (object)
- `workout_goals` (object): Requested work, not activity or clearance. Strength uses weight_moved with unit lb/kg; swimming distance with unit yd/m; cycling minutes, distance_km, energy_kcal or power_low/power_high with power_s…

### `evaluate_lift_session` (~97 tokens)

Score a lift session before it's done: points per exercise (intensity against the estimated one-rep max, or effort for throws/bands/holds, times tempo), shared across regions, the restorative share against the steer (fits_steer), against the rider's usual, and what each region is already carrying. Use it to judge and adjust; nothing is saved.

Input parameters:

- `lifts` (array, required): The exercises, in order

### `log_lift_session` (~435 tokens)

The check-off after a gym session, from what the rider tells you: one entry per planned lift, in order ({done, weight, reps, sets, tempo, hold, seconds, failure, why, set_details} - leave out what went as planned). Holds count as time under load: pass the seconds held (hold per rep, or seconds for a static hold), never fold them into tempo. failure: true when a lift went to failure. If they lifted LESS weight than planned, ask why and pass why = too_heavy (the load stays as planned; the strength estimate comes down) or chose (the load is what they lifted). More weight = more load. rpe = session effort 1-10, wellness = how they feel after 1-10. These reports also tune the steer. Corrections preserve the original prescription and imported activity link; read the saved result back. Use preview_strength_workout before text corrections. Timed effort outranks estimated duration; HR response is supporting uncertain evidence. Never convert a friction-sled equivalent into lifting poundage. Each done entry may have its own rpe; omit unknown session effort or wellness. source_activity_id links one imported gym recording, preserving its HR and counting the session once.

Input parameters:

- `compare_last` (string): How it felt against their last lift session
- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `done` (array): One per planned lift, in order
- `fields` (object)
- `override` (string): If they overrode the steer, their reason
- `repeats` (integer): Main block repeats
- `rpe` (integer): Session effort 1-10; omit unknown
- `session_index` (integer): Which of the day's gym sessions (default the first)
- `source_activity_id` (string): Imported gym activity ID on this date
- `text` (string): Correct actuals from text; include all saved exercise names, not new prescriptions
- `wellness` (integer): How they feel after, 1-10; omit unknown

### `record_lift_followup` (~126 tokens)

Two to four days after a lift session (get_lifting shows when one is due): how each region it worked feels now, 1-10 (1 fine, 10 very sore), and how the session compared with the one before. This refits each region's recovery block and tunes the steer.

Input parameters:

- `compare` (string): Against the session before
- `log_date` (string, required): The date of the lift session (YYYY-MM-DD)
- `note` (string): Anything they said
- `ratings` (object, required): {region: 1-10}

### `set_lift_rule` (~122 tokens)

Add one of the rider's lifting rules, in their words ("No squats", "Favorite lift: incline dumbbell press", "Nothing heavy overhead - left shoulder"), or remove one (remove = the rule's text, or the exercise it excludes). 'No ...' / 'never ...' rules are enforced: plans with those exercises are refused. Every AI the rider uses reads these rules.

Input parameters:

- `note` (string): Why, if they said
- `remove` (string): A rule to remove
- `text` (string): The rule

### `record_swim_activity` (~188 tokens)

Attach the rider's report to one imported pool swim: whether paddles or a pull buoy were used and how hard the swim felt. Use get_load for swim activity IDs, then record_checkin with a shoulders rating for how the shoulders feel. This updates provisional swim recovery blocks.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string): Imported swim activity ID
- `fin_kick_factor` (number): Explicitly reviewed provisional fin factor; not measured force
- `fin_type` (string): Reported fin type
- `fins` (boolean)
- `fins_fraction` (number)
- `kick_rpe` (integer): Reported kick effort
- `paddles` (boolean)
- `pull_buoy` (boolean)
- `snorkel` (boolean)
- `snorkel_fraction` (number)
- `swim_rpe` (integer): Swim effort 1-10

### `get_recording_link_choices` (~67 tokens)

Read imported watch workouts or choose matching scheduled and recorded workouts for one activity. Supports every imported sport. Suggestions are not confirmed links. Read this after import_activities; the same choices appear in the manual import review.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string): Optional imported watch activity ID

### `link_workout_recording` (~191 tokens)

Associate ONE imported watch workout with a scheduled workout (mode scheduled, date and session_index), another recording (mode activity, target_activity_id; optional date/session_index also links its schedule), or a separate workout on its watch date (mode new). Preview with save=false, review source identity, overlap and counts, then save=true. Default offset_seconds=0 respects recorded timestamps; change only for an explicitly reviewed clock mismatch. Original files and planned targets are retained; linked activity is counted once.

Input parameters:

- `activity_id` (string, required): Imported watch activity ID
- `date` (string): Watch recording date, YYYY-MM-DD
- `mode` (string, required): Where this recording belongs
- `offset_seconds` (number)
- `save` (boolean)
- `session_index` (integer): Scheduled session index
- `target_activity_id` (string): Existing recording to merge; also allowed with scheduled mode

### `import_activities` (~69 tokens)

Import watch activity files into the hub so every sport counts: pass the https download links for .fit files (e.g. from the COROS tool queryActivityFitFileDownloadUrls, one activity at a time).

Input parameters:

- `urls` (array, required): https links to .fit or .tcx files

### `set_capacity` (~133 tokens)

Tune a body system's usual week (engine, impact or muscle, in load points) from how the rider's body actually responded - e.g. they handled 416 engine points like easy work (raise engine), or their feet feel overdone at 79 impact (lower impact so 79 reads 'caution'). The zones, ratio and weekly budget then use it. Say why in the note. usual_week null clears it back to the model.

Input parameters:

- `note` (string): Why: what the rider reported
- `system` (string, required): engine, impact or muscle
- `usual_week` (number|null, required)

### `record_steps` (~109 tokens)

Record the rider's daily step counts from the watch (e.g. from the COROS tool queryDailyHealthData): {"YYYY-MM-DD": steps}. Walking outside runs counts toward the feet's accumulated load above a daily allowance (free steps from conditioning - the bigger of running (the block) and walking woken up fine from - shrinking as the load rises; only steps over them count). Sync the last week whenever coaching; today's count is partial.

Input parameters:

- `steps` (object): date -> steps

### `plan_area_route` (~198 tokens)

Find ride routes inside an area for today's focus (the cadence and watt ranges from set_plan): loops inside a circle, each judged on TIME (minutes at the focus's middle watts, climbs slowing it), HOLDABLE (share of the ride where auto-shift's easiest gear keeps the watts at or under the range - walls aren't) and TERRAIN (gentle for cadence/speed/recovery days, steady climbing for grit). Best fit first, with the reasons. No center: uses the last area the rider circled on the planner. Pick one and save it with save_planned_route.

Input parameters:

- `center` (array): [lat, lon] of the circle's middle
- `focus`: override today's focus (a preset name or custom) for this search
- `minutes` (integer): How long the ride should be (default 45)
- `radius_km` (number): circle radius, 1-40 km

### `save_planned_route` (~88 tokens)

Save a route from plan_area_route (by its cid) so it's in the rider's list; ride_now starts it on the bike at once (only when the rider asks, e.g. they're on the bike).

Input parameters:

- `cid` (integer): The route's cid from plan_area_route
- `name` (string): A name for it
- `ride_now` (boolean)

### `get_routes` (~32 tokens)

The rider's saved routes: id, name, km, climbing, steepest grade, easy/mixed/hilly.

### `get_route_climbs` (~71 tokens)

A saved route's climbs, numbered from 1: where each starts and ends (m along the route), length, gain, average and max grade - for placing climb goals and efforts with set_route_session.

Input parameters:

- `route_id` (string): Route id from get_routes or save_planned_route

### `set_route_session` (~243 tokens)

Attach training to places on a route for a day (default today): when the rider starts that route the bridge runs it, steering auto-shift and shifting for the efforts. Segments (use climb numbers from get_route_climbs, or metres along the route): {type:'climb_time', climb:2, seconds:600, rpm?:[lo,hi]} - get up it in that time: the pace becomes a watt target, re-worked every second from what's left; {type:'efforts', climb:1 or at_m, count:3, on_s:15, off_s:180, watts:200, rpm?:[55,70]} - efforts in a big gear, shifted into at the start of each; {type:'focus', climb:3 or start_m+end_m, focus:'grit'} - a different focus for part of the route. Empty segments clear it. Results land in get_ride_story and get_climb_history.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `route_id` (string): Route id
- `segments` (array)

### `get_climb_history` (~81 tokens)

Every climb the rider has ridden on a route (or all): date, climb number, length, grade, time, average and max watts, cadence, km/h, VAM (m climbed per hour), gears used - to see progress on the same climb and set the next goal.

Input parameters:

- `route_id` (string): Only this route (optional)

### `rate_ride` (~99 tokens)

Record how hard the rider said a ride felt, 1-10 (session RPE: 1 very easy, 3 comfortable, 5 working, 7 hard, 9 near max, 10 all out). Default: their latest ride. It shows in the ride story and on the Coach page.

Input parameters:

- `ride` (string): Ride id (default: the latest)
- `rpe` (integer): 1-10

### `record_morning` (~144 tokens)

Record overnight readiness from the watch (COROS: querySleepHrv for HRV + its normal range and baseline, queryRestingHeartRate, queryDailyHealthData for sleep). {"YYYY-MM-DD": {hrv, hrv_low, hrv_high, hrv_baseline, resting_hr, sleep_min, deep_min, rem_min}} - dates are wake-up days. HRV under its normal range, resting HR 5+ over its two-week median, or under 5 h of sleep make the engine 'easy' (worse: 'rest'). Sync the last few days whenever coaching, before get_today.

Input parameters:

- `days` (object)

### `get_skills` (~130 tokens)

The rider's place on each skill ladder (progressions and regressions): cadence habit (rpm range), leg speed, grit (big-gear sets), climb pace (goal time vs their best), running return (walk/jog steps). Each: step n of N, what it is, today's step (one down on a day the watch or check-in says easy), the next step, recent moves and why. Steps move on their own with the evidence: up after two good sessions, down after two poor ones; running drops to walking while it's on rest. Use the steps when writing plans.

### `set_skill_level` (~69 tokens)

Move a skill ladder by hand (the coach's call): skill cadence/speed/grit/climbing/running, level 1..N, and why.

Input parameters:

- `level` (integer): Step, from 1
- `skill` (string): Skill
- `why` (string): Why

### `set_event` (~235 tokens)

Add a date to plan backward from - an FTP test, a race, a goal ({date, name, kind: test|race|goal, sport: bike|run|swim|tri|other, note}) - or {remove: id}. get_today lists upcoming ones with days to go and notes (easy days before a test, taper before a race, and for running events whether the load model will have running cleared by then). Plan the days before each one around it.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `distance` (string): Triathlon: sprint, olympic, 70.3, ironman; run race: km
- `event_type` (string): What kind of race (sets the programming)
- `kind` (string): test, race or goal
- `name` (string): What it is
- `note` (string): Anything else
- `remove` (string): An event id to remove
- `sport` (string): bike, run, swim, tri or other
- `strokes` (array): Swim meet events

### `get_calibration` (~118 tokens)

The rider's capacities, each from tests and training with a confidence that fades after the last test: FTP (ramp test; 20-min bests between), heart rate at 90 W (morning diagnostic), big-gear 3 min (big-gear test; grit rides between), critical swim speed (400 m + 200 m time trial), and the running block (a benchmark run taken well can grow it, 10% a test). Plus which tests are coming due - put them on the calendar with schedule_test.

### `schedule_test` (~110 tokens)

Put a test on the calendar (a plan item, not a button): ftp, diagnostic, big_gear, css, benchmark_run. Sets the day's marker, time, how-to note, and for big_gear the focus that runs it; the bike tests start from the Coach page's Ride it row. Keep the two days before an FTP or big-gear test easy.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `test` (string): Which test

### `schedule_test_week` (~122 tokens)

Plan a test week - the rider's way (from their high-school lifting program): it's also the recovery week. Easy, reduced sessions Mon-Wed so they peak on test day; swim CSS test Thu if due; morning diagnostic Fri then rest; TEST DAY Sat (FTP ramp test, or the big-gear test - one leg test a day); Sun off; training resumes Monday. Every 6 weeks; no monday = the next one due. Overwrites that week's plan.

Input parameters:

- `monday` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)

### `get_aerobic` (~116 tokens)

The aerobic engine ride by ride, from the watch's ride files (the bridge is its power meter, so power and heart rate together): efficiency factor (normalized watts per beat - rises with fitness), aerobic decoupling (watts per beat, first half vs second - under 5% stayed aerobic; judged only on 40+ min steady rides), and heart rate at the same 100-120 W (falls as the heart gets fitter), with trends. Import the watch's ride files first (import_activities).

### `get_insights` (~327 tokens)

The rest of what the watch recorded, cross-referenced. Signals and flags only - nothing here scores the rider or changes a load model; ask the rider each flag's question rather than judging. SWIM, per set: SWOLF (seconds + strokes per length), strokes, stroke rate, pace, and how the stroke changed - held / gradual (slow fade: ordinary fatigue) / sudden (a step between neighbouring lengths - even a small one is the more telling strain signal) - plus how far in it first broke down. swim.session_length reads that across swims: use it to decide how long swims should be. Heart-rate drop in the rests is a wrist reading in water: rough. RUN: laps and 5-minute splits of power, cadence, heart rate, pace, vertical oscillation/ratio, step length, ground contact; form drift is flagged only when the pace matched. RIDE: work in kJ, heart rate in the opening minutes against the usual at those watts, heart-rate recovery in the minute after hard efforts, and (from get_aerobic) drift; ride.work_vs_legs fits kJ to the next morning's legs, ride.leg_check asks whether cadence and heart rate show the running load, ride.climbs compares each climb to the last time up. ALL: pauses mid-workout (count, time) - many of them is a question, not a fault. Trends say when they have too little data.

Input parameters:

- `sport` (string): Only this sport: swim, run, ride, gym or walk (optional)

### `get_transfer` (~129 tokens)

How much each sport carries over to the others for this rider, learned from their data: fitness carry-over (from -> to, relative to training the target sport itself; e.g. bike -> run 0.5 means an hour on the bike builds running fitness like half an hour of running) and how much each sport tires the legs relative to running. Starts at the literature (Millet 2002, Tanaka 1994, 2026 meta-analysis) and each value has an 80% interval and a status: prior / learning / learned. Only running builds feet and bones.

### `record_test` (~378 tokens)

Record a result the hub can't see: a swim CSS test ({t400, t200} seconds - from the rider or the watch's laps), or any capacity by hand ({capacity: ftp|engine_hr90|legs_3min|swim_css|block, value, kind: test|manual|training, note}), or how a benchmark run felt ({benchmark: its date, rpe 1-10, pain: true if anything hurt}) - the benchmark is graded once the two mornings after are in. Swims are then scored against CSS. A running calibration stopped short of the hour: {calibration_run: its planned date, reason: time|tired|form|pain|interrupted} - ask the athlete why; interrupted voids the test (retry when 100% again). A run within two days of a planned calibration (none on the day itself): ask whether it was the test and record {calibration_run: planned date, was_test: true|false}.

Input parameters:

- `benchmark` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `calibration_run` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `capacity` (string): Capacity
- `date` (string): Day as YYYY-MM-DD (default: today)
- `kind` (string): test, manual or training
- `note` (string): Where it came from
- `pain` (boolean): Anything hurt on the benchmark
- `reason` (string): Why the running calibration stopped early

- `t400` (number)
- `value` (number)
- `was_test` (boolean): Whether the run near a planned calibration day was the test

### `get_attention` (~106 tokens)

What needs going through with the athlete in the coming week, most urgent first: stop or whole-body warnings, training-rule breaks, forecast conflicts, running deloads and targets, calibration questions, missed sessions without a reason, cautions. Each item says what and the lightest fix. record_checkin returns the same list; work through it in the same conversation (preview, apply once they agree, say what changed).

Input parameters:

- `days` (integer): Days ahead (default 7)

### `get_race_predictions` (~73 tokens)

Race predictions so far, per race: every saved prediction (most likely time, range, legs, basis, levers), how it moved, whether a new one is due (a test since the last one, or 3+ weeks) and, after the race, how each one graded against the result.

### `save_race_prediction` (~224 tokens)

Save a race prediction you made from the hub's numbers: {event: race id or date, likely, low, high (seconds or h:mm:ss), legs: {swim, t1, bike, t2, run}, basis: the numbers and assumptions used, levers: what would move it most}. Or the race result: {event, result: finishing time, legs}, which grades every prediction.

- `mode` (string): Running format
- `repeats` (integer): Repeat each main block

### `save_run_workout` (~199 tokens)

Save a reviewed running recipe to one calendar session, within the existing running gate. Completed records are preserved. Preview first, then review the whole calendar and current tissue/readiness constraints.

### `get_workout_library` (~118 tokens)

Read reusable prescriptions, favorites, explicit effort reports and delayed lifting-day follow-ups. Missing responses are unknown, not good. ### `preview_workout_goals` (~156 tokens)

Compare goal quantities with a written prescription. Pass its sport, goals, and session object (lifts, swim_recipe, or ride_blocks/bike_plan, plus duration). Weight moved is volume, not force; calories and distance need appropriate evidence. Inspect unresolved targets before approved saving.

Input parameters:

- `goals` (object, required): Requested work, not activity or clearance. Strength uses weight_moved with unit lb/kg; swimming distance with unit yd/m; cycling minutes, distance_km, energy_kcal or power_low/power_high with power_s…

### `get_load_outlook` (~125 tokens)

Read the plan's load outlook: recorded and projected 3-day rate, biggest day in the last 3 and 28-day load per day through the plan, phase targets (recovery 50-60% of the reference rate, taper 40-60%, build steps gated by reports), the reference basis (own 28 days, or a starting estimate for new athletes) and flags. Read-only; use it when placing or moving sessions, then preview changes as usual.

- `days` (integer): Days ahead, 7-42 (default 21)

### `set_wearable_estimates` (~91 tokens)

Record the athlete's wearable starting estimates (VO2max, resting and maximum heart rate) for starting capacities before there is training history. Say where they came from (e.g. 'COROS fitness assessment').

Input parameters:

- `hr_max` (integer)
- `hr_rest` (integer)
- `source` (string): Where the numbers came from
- `vo2max` (number)

### `get_rechecks` (~73 tokens)

Read open and recent bad-report re-checks: why each started (pain 5+, pain worse than last time, soreness well above usual), when the evening and morning re-checks are due, answers, outcome, and whether running is held or the next increase waits. Ask the athlete the due re-check questions.

### `record_recheck` (~149 tokens)

Record the athlete's re-check answers: pain by site 0-10, stiffness 0-10, walking and stairs comfort (easy/some/hard), any red flags (sharp_bone_pain, swelling, limping, night_pain, numbness). Returns the outcome: settled, improving, step back, or stop and see a professional. Never diagnose.

Input parameters:

- `id` (string, required): Re-check id from get_rechecks
- `pain` (object)
- `red_flags` (array)
- `slot` (string): evening or morning
- `stairs` (string)

Input parameters:

- `id` (string, required): Library workout id
- `remembered` (boolean)

### `set_body_weight` (~76 tokens)

Record the athlete's current body weight (from today, or 'from' YYYY-MM-DD). Earlier weights are kept as dated history, so past sessions' energy keeps the weight the athlete had then.

Input parameters:

- `from` (string): Optional start date YYYY-MM-DD
- `unit` (string)
- `weight` (number, required)

### `preview_report_snapshots` (~71 tokens)

Preview the one-time back-fill that freezes each older report (daily/weekly check-in, workout report, lifting follow-up) with the 3-day rate and 28-day carried load it was made in. Rebuilt from activities before each record; marked rebuilt; no field is changed. Read-only.

### `apply_report_snapshots` (~71 tokens)

Apply exactly the previewed report back-fill after the athlete approves it. Requires the preview token and approved=true; a changed ledger or record is rejected (preview again). Writes a receipt; idempotent.

Input parameters:

- `approved` (boolean, required)
- `token` (string, required): Token from preview_report_snapshots

### `get_guide` (~68 tokens)

Read the detailed rules for one kind of work before doing it: planning, capacity, rules, running, lifting, reports, checkins, workouts, races or work_rate (the server instructions list what each covers). Read once per conversation per topic.

Input parameters:

- `topic` (string, required): The topic

## Common questions

### What is the S-Bike Training Hub MCP server?

S-Bike Training Hub is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as io.github.JHarp199345/s-bike-hub. Local training hub for cycling, running, swimming and lifting, with AI-led setup and planning. This page covers its PyPI package (s-bike-training-hub).

### What tools does the S-Bike Training Hub MCP server expose?

S-Bike Training Hub exposes 124 tools: get_activity_report, record_activity_report, get_recorded_swim_draft, record_completed_swim_details, preview_strength_workout, and 119 more. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 16,952 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Is the S-Bike Training Hub MCP server still maintained?

S-Bike Training Hub is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 24 October 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.

### What licence is the S-Bike Training Hub MCP server under?

S-Bike Training Hub declares the MIT licence, which is OSI-approved. That covers the source only, and says nothing about the cost of any service it calls.
