## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-10-02.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 99/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - No known CVEs affecting this package version or its production dependencies.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - 20 of 67 dependencies flagged as unhealthy.

## MCP tools (3)

### `remove_background` (~239 tokens)

Remove the background of images with LassoCut. Accepts file paths, folders (their images, not subfolders) or http(s) URLs, up to 50 per call. Saves '<name>-no-bg.<ext>' next to each original (or in output_dir) and never overwrites. Uses size 'preview' (0.25 credit, 50 free a month, up to 10 a day) unless the user explicitly asks for full size.

Input parameters:

- `background` (string): 'transparent' (default), a hex color like '#ffffff', or a color name
- `confirm_cost` (boolean): Set to true only after the user confirmed the full-size cost
- `crop` (boolean): Crop to the subject
- `format` (string): Output format, png by default
- `images` (required): File path, folder path or http(s) URL, or a list of them
- `output_dir` (string): absolute path; default: next to each original, or your Downloads folder for URLs
- `size` (string): preview (default) or full (1 credit per image, only if the user asks)

### `get_credits` (~34 tokens)

Show the LassoCut credit balance and the free previews available now (50 a month, up to 10 a day).

### `sign_in` (~72 tokens)

Connect a LassoCut account: opens the LassoCut approval page in the browser and returns right away with the URL and code. Approval is saved automatically in the background (up to 5 minutes); call get_credits afterwards to check. Use force: true to switch accounts.

Input parameters:

- `force` (boolean)
