## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 46/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - Authorisation not yet verified: we couldn't confirm whether this endpoint requires it.
  - HTTPS enforcement could not be verified: the plaintext port redirected somewhere other than https, so enforcement is unproven.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 0/100
  - Transport check failed: declared streamable-http, but the endpoint redirected instead of responding directly.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 0/100
  - Schema not yet verified: we couldn't read the endpoint's schema, or could read only part of its tool list.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 0/100
  - Stability not yet verified: not enough scan history yet (needs a 30-day window).
- **Tool Coverage**: 0/100
  - Tool coverage not yet verified: we couldn't read the endpoint's tools, or could read only part of the list.
- **Tool Safety**: 0/100
  - Tool safety not yet verified: we couldn't read the endpoint's tools, or could read only part of the list.
- **Capabilities**: 0/100
  - Capabilities not yet verified: we couldn't read the endpoint's capabilities.

**Unverified: 5 categories.** Categories scored 0 because we could not verify them: authentication we do not have, an unreachable endpoint, or not enough scan history. We only credit what we can confirm.

Images come back as images, PDFs as an embedded file (up to 3 MB). The API has no documented download for one document: if Papierkram does not serve the file to an API token, the tool says so; then use papierkram_get_voucher_pdf. Files that are not yet attached to a voucher (the upload inbox) are not reachable through the Papierkram API.

Input parameters:

- `document_id`: Document id (documents[].id of papierkram_get_voucher). Needed only when the voucher has more than one document.
- `voucher_id` (required): Voucher id (from papierkram_list_vouchers).

### `papierkram_upload_voucher_document` (~154 tokens)

WRITE: attach a file (receipt PDF or image) to an existing expense voucher (POST /expense/vouchers/{id}/documents). The file is given as base64, up to 3 MB. Check papierkram_get_voucher first: a repeated upload attaches the file twice. Costs 10 Papierkram API credits.

Input parameters:

- `content_base64` (string, required): The file content as standard base64.
- `filename` (string, required): File name, e.g. receipt-2026-10-31.pdf.
- `mime_type` (string, required): Media type of the file.
- `voucher_id` (required): Voucher id (from papierkram_list_vouchers or papierkram_create_voucher).

### `papierkram_create_voucher` (~370 tokens)

WRITE: book an expense voucher (Beleg) in Papierkram, e.g. from a receipt. Papierkram books it at once (state unpaid, no draft), so this tool works in two steps. Without confirm it creates nothing: it returns the exact request and possible duplicates (same document date, creditor and total) for the user to review. After the user approves, call again with the same arguments and confirm: true. Then attach the file with papierkram_upload_voucher_document and record a payment with papierkram_pay_voucher. Asset categories that need a depreciation (AfA) setting must be finished in Papierkram. Costs 50 Papierkram API credits; each duplicate check reads 1.

Input parameters:

- `allow_duplicate` (boolean): True only after the user confirmed that a reported possible duplicate is a different voucher.
- `confirm` (boolean): False or missing: preview only, nothing is created. True: book the voucher now.
- `creditor_id`: Supplier company id (from papierkram_list_companies; it must be a supplier).
- `description` (string): Notes.
- `document_date` (string, required): Receipt date yyyy-mm-dd (Belegdatum).
- `due_date` (string): Due date yyyy-mm-dd.
- `entertainment_persons` (array): Guests of a business meal (Bewirtungskosten only).
- `entertainment_reason` (string): Reason of a business meal (Bewirtungskosten only).
- `flagged` (boolean): Mark the voucher for a later check.
- `line_items` (array, required): The voucher lines.
- `name` (string, required): Voucher title, e.g. the supplier and the receipt number.
- `provenance` (string, required): Where the supplier is: domestic (Germany), eu or foreign.

### `papierkram_pay_voucher` (~253 tokens)

WRITE: book a payment of an expense voucher (POST /expense/vouchers/{id}/pay), with a value and payment date or with an existing bank transaction. Without confirm it changes nothing: it reads the voucher and returns the exact request for the user to review. After approval, call again with confirm: true. A value that differs from the open amount needs difference_reason (teilzahlung = part payment, skonto = cash discount, mahnung = reminder fee, schmaelerung = reduction, sonstige = other). A repeated call books a second payment: after an error, check the voucher state with papierkram_get_voucher before retrying.

Input parameters:

- `banking_transaction_id`: Bank transaction that paid the voucher (from papierkram_list_bank_transactions).
- `confirm` (boolean): False or missing: preview only, nothing is booked. True: book the payment now.
- `difference_reason` (string): Why the value differs from the open amount.
- `id` (required): Voucher id.
- `payment_date` (string): Payment date yyyy-mm-dd (default: Papierkram's default, today).
- `value` (number): Paid amount. Needed unless banking_transaction_id is given.

### `papierkram_update_voucher` (~439 tokens)

WRITE: change an existing expense voucher (PUT /expense/vouchers/{id}): title, supplier, provenance, dates, notes, flag or line items (amount, VAT rate, category). Only the fields you pass are changed. line_items REPLACES all lines of the voucher: pass the full new list. Without confirm it changes nothing: it reads the voucher and returns its current values next to the exact request for the user to review. After approval, call again with the same arguments and confirm: true. Papierkram refuses a voucher that can no longer be edited (e.g. a paid or locked one). Lines with a billing (re-invoicing) or depreciation (AfA) setting cannot be replaced here, so the tool refuses line_items for such a voucher; change those lines in Papierkram. Payments are booked with papierkram_pay_voucher. Costs 1 Papierkram API credit; the preview, and a confirmed line change, also read the voucher (1 each).

Input parameters:

- `confirm` (boolean): False or missing: preview only, nothing is changed. True: change the voucher now.
- `creditor_id`: New supplier company id (from papierkram_list_companies; it must be a supplier).
- `description` (string): New notes.
- `document_date` (string): New receipt date yyyy-mm-dd (Belegdatum).
- `due_date` (string|null): New due date yyyy-mm-dd; null removes the due date.
- `entertainment_persons` (array): Guests of a business meal (Bewirtungskosten only).
- `entertainment_reason` (string): Reason of a business meal (Bewirtungskosten only).
- `flagged` (boolean): Mark (true) or unmark (false) the voucher for a later check.
- `id` (required): Voucher id (from papierkram_list_vouchers).
- `line_items` (array): The complete new list of voucher lines. It replaces ALL current lines.
- `name` (string): New voucher title.
- `provenance` (string): Where the supplier is: domestic (Germany), eu or foreign.

## Common questions

### What is the Papierkram MCP by usefulapi server?

Papierkram MCP by usefulapi is listed in the public MCP registry as io.usefulapi/papierkram. Read Papierkram invoices, vouchers, contacts, projects, time; create contacts, time, draft invoices. This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://papierkram.usefulapi.io/mcp).

### Is the Papierkram MCP by usefulapi server safe to use?

Papierkram MCP by usefulapi scores 18 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the Papierkram MCP by usefulapi server expose?

Papierkram MCP by usefulapi exposes 39 tools: papierkram_get_info, papierkram_list_companies, papierkram_get_company, papierkram_list_persons, papierkram_get_person, and 34 more. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 5,515 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Does the Papierkram MCP by usefulapi server require authentication?

Papierkram MCP by usefulapi is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 5 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.

### What did VerifyMCP test on the Papierkram MCP by usefulapi server?

VerifyMCP ran 4 checks on Papierkram MCP by usefulapi, covering TLS certificate, HSTS header, DNSSEC and Transport. 7 items could not be completed, a gap on our side rather than a finding about Papierkram MCP by usefulapi: Authorization, HTTPS, Schema quality, Stability and 3 more. 5 categories score 0 for that reason, because we only credit what we can confirm. Supply Chain Security and Provenance & Transparency do not apply to a hosted endpoint, so they were not tested. The score does not measure everything, and the scoring documentation lists what it leaves out.
