Answer the question a print shop asks every day: can this artwork be printed at N cm without looking bad? Reports real pixel size, the largest print height at 300 dpi (optimal) and 150 dpi (floor), whether it has transparency, rough ink coverage, and warnings. Read-only, runs on CPU, costs NO credits. Run this before upscaling or laying out a sheet — it often makes the paid tool unnecessary. Pass target_height_cm to get a straight yes/no for a specific size.

Remove the background from artwork

Remove the background and return a PNG with transparency, ready to print on a garment. Costs 1 credit (2 for images over 25 megapixels). Takes about 10-30 seconds; if it runs long you get a job_id — poll pigmenta_job_status, do not call this again.

### `upscale_image` (~121 tokens)

Upscale artwork to a print size

Enlarge an image to a target PRINT HEIGHT in centimetres at 300 dpi, keeping edges clean for textile printing. height_cm is the height of the finished print, not the longest side. Costs 1 credit (2 over 25 megapixels). Run inspect_image_for_print first: if the image already covers the size, this is not needed.

### `knockout_color` (~145 tokens)

Knock a color out of artwork (make it transparent)

Make black, white or one chosen color transparent (a knockout, for DTF on dark or light garments). remove: 'black' (default), 'white' or 'color' (then color_hex is required, like #FF0000). tolerance 0-255 sets how close a pixel must be. Costs 0.5 credit (1 over 25 megapixels). If it runs long you get a job_id: poll pigmenta_job_status, do not call it again.

### `halftone_image` (~142 tokens)

Convert artwork to a halftone (dots) for printing

Turn artwork into a halftone of dots, which prints softer and lighter on a garment. style: 'artistic' (default) or 'garment' (adapts the dots to the garment color: pass garment_hex, e.g. #202020). dot_spacing is the distance between dots in pixels, max_radius their largest radius. Costs 0.5 credit (1 over 25 megapixels).

### `improve_image` (~169 tokens)

Improve artwork: colors, noise, logos or faces

Fix a picture before printing. operation: 'colors' (default; saturation, contrast, brightness, sharpness: 1.0 means no change, 0.5 credit), 'denoise' (removes grain and compression dirt, 1 credit), 'logo' (clean edges and flat colors for logos and drawings, 1 credit) or 'face' (restores blurry faces, 1 credit). Over 25 megapixels costs double. If it runs long you get a job_id: poll pigmenta_job_status.

Arrange several designs on a roll to print them together with as little waste as possible — a gang sheet. Give one entry per design with how many copies and what print height in cm.
