## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 74/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 61/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 985 tokens (~246/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 77/100
  - Stability observed for 23 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 99/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 96% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 4 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 5 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a current MCP spec version (2026-07-28).

## MCP tools (4)

### `list_travel_insurance_plans` (~52 tokens)

List travel insurance plans

Lists the travel insurance plans sold by Travel Protection Insurance (www.travelprotection.insure) to US residents: each plan's price as a percentage of trip cost, main coverages and restrictions.

### `get_travel_insurance_coverage_details` (~73 tokens)

Get travel insurance coverage details

Returns the covered cancellation reasons, benefit limits and state restrictions for one plan: "standard" or "cfar" (Cancel For Any Reason). Reasons and limits follow the policy form sold in most states; policy_form_note names the states whose form differs.

Input parameters:

- `plan_id` (string, required)

### `quote_travel_insurance` (~226 tokens)

Quote travel insurance

Prices travel insurance for a trip under both plans and says whether Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage is available to this traveler, and why not when it isn't. Nothing is saved or charged.

Input parameters:

- `customer_state` (string, required): Two-letter code of the US state the traveler lives in. Only US residents can buy.
- `departure_date` (string, required): Departure date, YYYY-MM-DD. The earliest accepted is tomorrow in the traveler's home state.

- `trip_cost` (number, required): Total prepaid trip cost in US dollars, up to $100,000.

### `start_travel_insurance_checkout` (~580 tokens)

Creates a quote for the traveler and returns a link to finish on www.travelprotection.insure. Requires the traveler's name and email, shared only with the traveler's agreement. Home and destination address details are optional and also shared only with the traveler's agreement; when they are left out, the site asks for them before payment. Nothing is charged here. The link expires 1 hour after it is created.
