## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-10-22.

- **Endpoint Security**: 57/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - Authorisation check failed: no authorisation is required to call this server, and it exposes a tool marked destructive (remove_saved_job).
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 65/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1579 tokens (~175/item across 9 items; 9 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 7/100
  - Stability observed for 2 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 94/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 78% of tool parameters carry a description.
  - Structured output schemas are declared (100% of tools); any adoption earns full credit.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - All 2 tool(s) whose name or description implies an irreversible operation declare an MCP destructiveHint annotation.
  - An AI judge read all 10 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (9)

### `search_jobs` (~456 tokens)

Search jobs

Search open jobs on Ocean of Jobs. Give at least one of query, company, city or country (IL for Israel; most listings are in the US). Returns up to 25 jobs per call, best match first when there is a query, newest first otherwise, with the total number of matches. Every job includes its lifetime (days listed, first and last seen) and two links: url, the Ocean of Jobs page, to show first, and apply_url, the employer's page.

How to search well:
\- Put one or two core title or skill words in query, such as "backend", "python" or "devops", and use the filters for place, seniority and dates. Every word in query must match, so a long description of the person returns little or nothing.
\- Search once. If that gives relevant candidates, do not search again for synonyms. If it gives nothing useful, change or broaden query once, keeping the same filters.
\- Across searches, treat the same id or the same apply_url as one job.
\- Open only the strongest few candidates with get_job, and read their descriptions for seniority, required skills and where the job can be done from before ranking them.
\- Give the number of recommendations asked for when enough jobs fit, and say so when fewer do.
\- Never call a listing reposted because of its age. Use lifetime.reappeared_at, and say when the tracked history is too short to tell.

Input parameters:

- `city` (string): City name, e.g. Tel Aviv.
- `company` (string): A company domain such as wix.com, or a name, which is looked up.
- `country` (string): Two-letter country code, e.g. IL or US.
- `limit` (integer)
- `max_age_days` (integer): Only jobs posted within this many days.
- `offset` (integer)
- `query` (string): Words to search titles, companies, locations and descriptions, skills included, e.g. "kubernetes go". Quotes keep a phrase together.
- `salary_min` (integer): Lowest monthly gross salary in shekels.
- `seniority` (string)
- `workplace` (string)

Output parameters:

- `duplicates_folded` (integer): Rows on this page that were the same posting as another, folded into it.
- `jobs` (array)
- `more` (string|null)
- `offset` (integer)
- `total` (integer): Every match, not only this page.

### `get_job` (~81 tokens)

Get a job

One job on Ocean of Jobs by its id (from search_jobs or get_company): the description as plain text, its lifetime, whether its data is verified against the employer's ATS, and both links, the Ocean of Jobs page first.

Input parameters:

- `id` (string, required): The job's id, e.g. 67ff4ef965d91ef7.

Output parameters:

- `apply_url` (string|null): The employer's own application page.
- `category` (string|null)
- `company` (string): The employer's name, or its domain when the ATS gives no name.
- `company_domain` (string)
- `confidence` (string|null): verified: read from the employer's ATS API. best_effort: from the careers page markup.
- `department` (string|null)
- `description` (string|null): Plain text; '## ' starts a heading and '- ' a bullet. Null when the ATS gave none.
- `description_truncated` (boolean)
- `id` (string)
- `lifetime` (object): first_seen is when Ocean of Jobs first found the listing on the employer's own applicant tracking system. last_seen is the last time a read of that board returned the listing with any change; a board…
- `location` (string|null)
- `seniority` (string|null)
- `title` (string)
- `url` (string): The listing's page on Ocean of Jobs. Show this first.
- `workplace` (string|null)

### `get_company` (~71 tokens)

Get a company

A company on Ocean of Jobs by name or domain: how many jobs it has open, how many are new this week, how long it has been tracked, its newest jobs, and its Ocean of Jobs page.

Input parameters:

- `company` (string, required): A name such as Wix, or a domain such as wix.com.

Output parameters:

- `ats` (string|null)
- `domain` (string)
- `name` (string|null)
- `new_jobs_7d` (integer)
- `newest_jobs` (array)
- `open_jobs` (integer)
- `other_matches` (array)
- `tracked_since` (string|null)
- `url` (string)

### `save_job` (~69 tokens)

Save a job

Save a job to the user's Ocean of Jobs account, where it shows under Saved jobs on every device. Needs the user's personal access token. Saving the same job twice is harmless.

Input parameters:

- `id` (string, required): The job's id, e.g. 67ff4ef965d91ef7.

Output parameters:

- `id` (string)
- `saved` (boolean)
- `url` (string)

### `list_saved_jobs` (~63 tokens)

List saved jobs

The jobs saved on the user's Ocean of Jobs account, newest saved first, with the same fields as search results and when each was saved. Needs the user's personal access token.

Input parameters:

- `limit` (integer): How many, 1 to 25. Default 10.

Output parameters:

- `gone` (array): Saved ids that no longer have a listing.
- `jobs` (array)
- `total` (integer): Every saved job, not only this list.

### `remove_saved_job` (~36 tokens)

Remove a saved job

Take a job off the user's saved list. Needs the user's personal access token.

Input parameters:

- `id` (string, required): The job's id.

Output parameters:

- `id` (string)
- `saved` (boolean)

### `queue_for_auto_apply` (~194 tokens)

Queue a job for auto apply

Queue a job for the Ocean of Jobs Chrome extension to apply to with the user's profile and CV. The extension applies to queued jobs on its next check, every 15 minutes, so the user needs the extension installed and connected. The user must also turn on "Jobs queued by my AI assistant through MCP" in their auto apply settings. For now the extension fills Greenhouse Ashby and Workable forms only (an apply_url on boards.greenhouse.io, job-boards.greenhouse.io, jobs.ashbyhq.com or apply.workable.com); a job on any other site is refused, so pick those jobs. This sends a real application, so queue a job only when the user asks for it. Needs the user's personal access token. Queueing the same job twice is harmless.

Input parameters:

- `id` (string, required): The job's id, e.g. 67ff4ef965d91ef7.

Output parameters:

- `id` (string)
- `queued` (boolean)
- `url` (string)

### `list_auto_apply_queue` (~74 tokens)

List the auto apply queue

The jobs waiting in the user's auto apply queue, oldest first, with the same fields as search results and when each was queued. A job leaves the queue once the extension has tried it. Needs the user's personal access token.

Input parameters:

- `limit` (integer): How many, 1 to 25. Default 10.

Output parameters:

- `gone` (array): Queued ids that no longer have a listing.
- `jobs` (array)
- `total` (integer): Every queued job, not only this list.

### `remove_from_auto_apply_queue` (~46 tokens)

Remove a job from the auto apply queue

Take a job out of the user's auto apply queue before the extension applies to it. Needs the user's personal access token.

Input parameters:

- `id` (string, required): The job's id.

Output parameters:

- `id` (string)
- `queued` (boolean)
