## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 74/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 73/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1081 tokens (~135/item across 8 items; 8 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 20/100
  - Stability observed for 6 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 8 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 9 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 60/100
  - Spec-recency check failed: implements MCP spec 2025-06-18; the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (8)

### `lookup_food` (~182 tokens)

Look up an Indian food's nutrition

Get nutrition facts for ONE Indian food: calcium, fibre, iron, protein per 100 g and per katori/serving, each with the source article URL to cite. Covers 60 foods (dals, millets, paneer, soya, nuts, fruit and more) from ICMR-NIN composition tables. Use compare_foods for several foods at once, search_guides for topics rather than single foods. Read-only, no side effects; if the food is not covered it returns found=false with the list of available foods instead of an error.

Input parameters:

- `food` (string, required): One food name in English or common Hindi, e.g. 'rajma', 'moong dal', 'paneer', 'ragi'.
- `nutrient` (string): Optional. Return only this nutrient; omit to get every nutrient available for the food.

### `compare_foods` (~160 tokens)

Compare Indian foods on a nutrient

Compare 2-8 Indian foods side by side on a single nutrient (calcium, fibre, iron, protein), returning each food's headline value per 100 g, its other rows, and a source URL. Use this to answer 'which has more protein/iron/fibre'; use lookup_food for one food in depth. Read-only. Foods it cannot match are listed in not_found and the rest are still compared; an unsupported nutrient returns an error naming the valid ones.

Input parameters:

- `foods` (array, required): 2 to 8 food names, e.g. ['rajma', 'chana', 'moong dal']. Unknown names are returned in not_found.
- `nutrient` (string): The nutrient to compare on. Defaults to protein.

### `protein_target` (~189 tokens)

Calculate daily protein target

Calculate a person's daily protein target in grams from body weight, using ICMR-NIN RDA 2020 (0.83 g/kg) and PROT-AGE guidance for older adults, with ranges for training, weight loss, pregnancy and breastfeeding, the per-meal threshold, and a link to the matching age guide. Nutrition information, not medical advice; kidney disease targets must come from a doctor. Pure calculation, read-only; returns an error if weight_kg is missing or not a number.

Input parameters:

- `age` (integer): Optional age in years; adds age-specific guidance (the per-meal threshold rises after about 50).
- `situation` (string): Optional context echoed back, e.g. 'training', 'weight loss', 'pregnancy'. All situation ranges are always returned.
- `weight_kg` (number, required): Body weight in kilograms, e.g. 65.

### `protein_cost` (~124 tokens)

Rank protein sources by cost (INR)

Rank protein sources available in India by cost in rupees per 10 g of protein, cheapest first: soya chunks, dals, eggs, chana, curd, milk, paneer and protein powders. Use it to answer 'cheapest way to get protein in India'. Whole foods are reported as cheaper than every powder, including KABO's. Read-only; values are approximate typical retail prices, not live quotes.

Input parameters:

- `budget_inr` (number): Optional ceiling in rupees per 10 g of protein; only sources at or below it are returned.

### `search_guides` (~138 tokens)

Search Indian nutrition guides

Keyword search across 1,308 Indian nutrition guides on kabo.co.in (age-by-age nutrition, deficiencies, gut health, supplements, recipes), returning titles and URLs to cite. Use for topic questions such as 'vitamin D deficiency in vegetarians'; use lookup_food for a single food's values. Read-only; results are ranked by word overlap with the title, and an empty list means no guide matched.

Input parameters:

- `limit` (integer): Maximum results to return, 1-25. Defaults to 8.
- `query` (string, required): Search words, e.g. 'protein after 40' or 'iron absorption vegetarian'.

### `list_products` (~75 tokens)

List KABO products

List KABO's own nutrition shakes (each flavour) with per-serving protein, calories, fibre and vitamin count from each product's own nutrition panel, plus rating and product URL. Use first to see what KABO sells; then call get_product for price, stock and a cart link. Read-only, no side effects.

### `get_product` (~108 tokens)

Get a KABO product with live price

Get one KABO product in full: per-serving nutrition from its own panel, composition quoted from the product page, dietary suitability (vegan, lactose-free; not Jain-suitable), live price and stock for each pack size, price per serving, and a cart link or the store's UCP checkout profile. Read-only: it never places orders.

Input parameters:

- `product` (string, required): Product name or handle, e.g. 'butter coffee', 'white chocolate blueberry', 'assorted'.

### `compare_products` (~73 tokens)

Compare KABO products and prices

Compare KABO products side by side: serving size, protein, calories and live price per serving for every pack size. Omit products to compare the whole range. Read-only.

Input parameters:

- `products` (array): Optional product names, e.g. ['butter coffee', 'assorted']. Omit to compare all.
