## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 100/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - No known CVEs affecting this package version or its production dependencies.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - No production dependencies, so there is no dependency health to assess.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 48/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Provenance check failed: no build-provenance attestation is published.
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 3 days ago).
  - Publishes a security disclosure policy (SECURITY.md).
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 71/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 379 tokens (~189/item across 2 items; 2 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 17/100
  - Stability observed for 5 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
  - Structured output schemas are declared (100% of tools); any adoption earns full credit.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 2 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 2 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a current MCP spec version (2026-07-28).

## Changelog

Every change recorded for this component, newest first. Days that predate change tracking, or that we cannot explain, say so: "we were watching and nothing happened" and "we were not watching" are different claims.

### 2026-11-05 (score 73, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 13 to 17. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 4 days of observed history at the previous scan, 5 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

### 2026-11-03 (score 72, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 7 to 10. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 2 days of observed history at the previous scan, 3 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

## MCP tools (2)

### `inventory_check` (~315 tokens)

Check stock and reorder points

Works out what to reorder and how much from a sales CSV and a stock CSV, with reorder points, safety stock, stockout dates and dead stock. Use for inventory planning, purchase orders, or finding slow-moving stock. Read-only, and never uses the network. Results include SKUs and quantities from the files, so they reach the model. It can't place orders.

Input parameters:

- `cover_days` (null|number): Days of sales each order should cover, default 30
- `date_format` (string): dmy or mdy, needed only if the tool reports that dates are ambiguous
- `lead_days` (null|number): Days from ordering to receiving, default 14. A lead time in the stock file overrides it
- `limit` (null|integer): Most SKUs to return, most urgent first, default 100. 0 returns only the totals
- `sales_columns` (object): Column names by field (date, sku, qty), when detection fails
- `sales_path` (string, required): Path to the sales or orders CSV
- `service_level` (null|integer): Chance of not running out during lead time: 90, 95 or 99, default 95
- `stock_columns` (object): Column names by field (sku, qty, lead, cost, moq), when detection fails
- `stock_path` (string, required): Path to the stock count CSV
- `window_days` (null|integer): Days of recent sales to use, default 90

Output parameters:

- `as_of` (string)
- `dead_stock_value` (string)
- `line_count` (integer)
- `lines` (null|array)
- `order_now` (integer)
- `order_now_cost` (string)
- `skipped_sales_rows` (null|array)
- `skipped_stock_rows` (null|array)
- `sold_but_not_in_stock_file` (null|array)
- `truncated` (boolean)
- `warnings` (null|array)
- `window_days` (integer)

### `inventory_inspect_csv` (~64 tokens)

Inspect a sales or stock CSV

Shows which columns runwaystock detects in a CSV and how many rows it can read, without returning row contents. Use if a file is unfamiliar or a check failed.

Input parameters:

- `kind` (string, required): sales or stock
- `path` (string, required): Path to the CSV

Output parameters:

- `columns` (object)
- `rows` (integer)
- `skipped` (integer)
