## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-10-25.

- **Endpoint Security**: 83/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC is configured correctly; the domain's records validate against the full chain to the root.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 64/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 693 tokens (~346/item across 2 items; 2 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 70/100
  - Stability observed for 21 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 2 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 3 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## Install

### How do I install the AIGROW MCP server?

AIGROW is a hosted endpoint at https://aigrow.gg/mcp, so there is nothing to install locally. Ready-made configuration for Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and 5 more is on this page, copied from each client's own documentation.

```
### Cursor
```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "gg-aigrow-ai-visibility": {
      "url": "https://aigrow.gg/mcp"
    }

The mcpServers block is a cross-client convention. Remote transports vary, so check your client's docs.

## Changelog

Every change recorded for this component, newest first. Days that predate change tracking, or that we cannot explain, say so: "we were watching and nothing happened" and "we were not watching" are different claims.

### 2026-10-25 (score 83, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 67 to 70. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 20 days of observed history at the previous scan, 21 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

## MCP tools (2)

### `check_ai_visibility` (~270 tokens)

Check AI visibility

Runs AIGROW's free AI visibility scan of one business: reads its website, writes the buyer questions a customer would ask an assistant, puts them to the models behind ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Meta AI, and reports how often the business was named, a score out of 100, who was named instead and what holds it back. Takes about three minutes and reports progress as the answers come in. Shares the free scan's limits on aigrow.gg: two new websites an hour per network address (a hosted client shares one among its users), and a daily cap. A city or category makes it a new scan, even of a website scanned before.

Input parameters:

- `category` (string): What the business is, for example "dentist" or "CRM software".
- `city` (string): The city or area the business serves, if the website may not say.
- `language` (string): The language to answer in, as an ISO 639-1 code: en, de, fr, es, pt, it, nl, pl, sv, da or no. Any other code answers in English.
- `name` (string): The business name, if known.
- `website` (string, required): The business's website address, for example bakery-example.com.

### `ai_index_lookup` (~214 tokens)

AI Visibility Index lookup

Reads the AI Visibility Index by AIGROW: for a kind of business and a city or country, which businesses ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok name when buyers ask for a recommendation, with each one's share of the answers, the edition and the link to the Index page. Covers 44 categories (local trades such as dentists and plumbers by city, software such as CRM by country) across 88 cities and 20 countries. Category and place may be written in any of the eleven supported languages.

Input parameters:

- `category` (string, required): The kind of business, for example "dentist", "Zahnarzt" or "crm".
- `language` (string): The language to answer in, as an ISO 639-1 code: en, de, fr, es, pt, it, nl, pl, sv, da or no. Any other code answers in English.
- `place` (string, required): A city or a country, for example "Berlin", "Milano" or "Germany".

## Common questions

### What is the AIGROW MCP server?

AIGROW is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as gg.aigrow/ai-visibility. Does AI recommend a business? The free AI visibility scan and the AI Visibility Index, by AIGROW. This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://aigrow.gg/mcp).

### Is the AIGROW MCP server safe to use?

AIGROW scores 83 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the AIGROW MCP server expose?

AIGROW exposes 2 tools: check_ai_visibility, ai_index_lookup. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 484 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Does the AIGROW MCP server require authentication?

No. We connected to AIGROW without credentials and it answered, so anything it exposes is reachable by anyone who knows the address.

### Is the AIGROW MCP server still maintained?

AIGROW is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 25 October 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.
