## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 100/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - No known CVEs affecting this package version or its production dependencies.
  - Runs setuptools.build_meta at install time, a recognised build step with no custom scripting around it.
  - 0 of 51 dependencies flagged as unhealthy.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 100/100
  - Source repository is publicly reachable at the declared URL.
  - Cryptographically verified build provenance (signed, bound to GermaniU/ga4-seo-mcp).
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 12 days ago).
  - Publishes a security disclosure policy (SECURITY.md).
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 76/100
  - 100% of prompts and resources have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the item's name).
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (fair).
  - Tool/resource definitions use about 2309 tokens (~96/item across 24 items; 24 tools + 0 resources), lean.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 57/100
  - Stability observed for 17 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 71/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 0% of tool parameters carry a description.
  - Structured output schemas are declared (100% of tools); any adoption earns full credit.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 24 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 25 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (24)

### `list_account_summaries` (~42 tokens)

List every GA4 account you can access, with a summary of its properties.

Start here to find the account_id and property_id the other tools need.

Output parameters:

- `result` (array)

### `list_properties` (~70 tokens)

List the GA4 properties under an account.

Args:
account_id: numeric account ID or 'accounts/123456789'.
include_deleted: also return properties in the trash (soft-deleted, kept 35 days).

Input parameters:

- `account_id` (string, required)
- `include_deleted` (boolean)

Output parameters:

- `result` (array)

Input parameters:

- `property_id` (string, required)

Output parameters:

- `result` (array)

### `bootstrap_site_measurement` (~398 tokens)

Plan, and optionally apply, the full measurement setup of a website.

With apply=False (default) nothing is changed: it detects what already exists for the
site (GA4 property and web stream matched by the site's domain, key events, custom
dimensions, Search Console domain property) and returns the steps that would run.
Show this plan to the user and get explicit confirmation before calling apply=True.

With apply=True (requires the server to run with --enable-writes) it creates only the
missing pieces, skipping what exists, so it is safe to re-run. It returns a step-by-step
report with the GA4 measurement ID (G-...) and the DNS TXT token for Search Console.
DNS verification and sitemap submission stay manual follow-up steps
(sc_verify_site_dns, sc_submit_sitemap) because the TXT record must be published first.

Args:
    site_url: the site, e.g. 'https://example.com'.
account_id: GA4 account that owns (or will own) the property; see
        list_account_summaries.
property_display_name: name for a new property; also used to find an existing one.
time_zone: IANA time zone for a new property, e.g. 'America/Mexico_City'.
currency_code: ISO 4217 currency for a new property, e.g. 'USD'.
key_events: event names to mark as key events, e.g. ['generate_lead'].
custom_dimensions: parameters to register as custom dimensions.
apply: False = plan only (default); True = execute the plan.

Input parameters:

- `account_id` (string, required)
- `apply` (boolean)
- `currency_code` (string, required)
- `custom_dimensions`
- `key_events`
- `property_display_name` (string, required)
- `site_url` (string, required)
- `time_zone` (string, required)

### `run_report` (~265 tokens)

Run a flexible GA4 report.

Args:
    property_id: numeric ID or 'properties/123456789'.
metrics: e.g. ['sessions', 'activeUsers', 'keyEvents']. Catalog:
        https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/data/v1/api-schema#metrics

        https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/data/v1/api-schema#dimensions
    date_start: 'YYYY-MM-DD', 'today', 'yesterday' or 'NdaysAgo' (e.g. '28daysAgo').
    date_end: same formats as date_start.
    limit: maximum rows (default 25).

## Common questions

### What is the GA4 SEO MCP server?

GA4 SEO MCP is listed in the public MCP registry as io.github.GermaniU/ga4-seo-mcp. Set up and audit site measurement: GA4, Search Console and PageSpeed. Read-only unless enabled. This page covers its PyPI package (ga4-seo-mcp).

### Is the GA4 SEO MCP server safe to use?

GA4 SEO MCP scores 87 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. We found no known CVEs affecting it as of 5 November 2026. Its build provenance is signed and verified. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the GA4 SEO MCP server expose?

GA4 SEO MCP exposes 24 tools: list_account_summaries, list_properties, get_property, list_data_streams, get_data_stream, and 19 more. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 2,194 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Is the GA4 SEO MCP server still maintained?

GA4 SEO MCP is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 5 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.

### What licence is the GA4 SEO MCP server under?

GA4 SEO MCP declares the MIT licence, which is OSI-approved. That covers the source only, and says nothing about the cost of any service it calls.
