Pour chaque établissement trouvé, la réponse donne son UAI (son code officiel), sa lettre de notation quand elle existe et le lien vers sa fiche. Les établissements sont listés selon leur correspondance avec la recherche. Pour les collèges autour d'un lieu, avec leur distance, utiliser l'outil de secteur avec une adresse de ce lieu, numéro de rue compris.

L'établissement se désigne par son UAI, le code officiel que l'outil de recherche donne pour chaque résultat, par exemple 0350760L. Chaque donnée est accompagnée de sa source et de son année.

Trouve le collège public de secteur d'une adresse. Ce rattachement vaut pour cette adresse seule, pas pour toute la commune. Liste aussi les 10 collèges les plus proches, ainsi que les lycées et écoles alentour, avec leur distance calculée par le site. Seuls les territoires dont la carte scolaire est publiée sont couverts. La direction des services départementaux de l'éducation nationale ou le rectorat confirme le rattachement avant toute inscription. L'adresse sert à interroger la Base adresse nationale. Le site ne la conserve pas.
