Use first when someone wants to estimate the German care grade (Pflegegrad) or asks "wie viele Punkte", "welchen Pflegegrad bekommt meine Mutter", "Pflegegrad berechnen", "Pflegegrad einschätzen", "Begutachtung vorbereiten". Returns the questions of one of the six assessment areas (Modul 1 Mobilität, 2 Verstehen und Sprechen, 3 Verhalten, 4 Selbstversorgung, 5 Krankheit und Behandlung, 6 Alltag und Kontakte) exactly as § 15 SGB XI Anlage 1 defines them, with the answer scale and the points per answer. Ask the user these questions, then pass the point values to calculate_pflegegrad. Call it once per area (1 to 6); the user may skip areas. Never ask for a name, diagnosis or birth date.

Pflegegrad-Punkte berechnen

Use after the questions from get_assessment_questions are answered (or when the user already knows the point values). Computes per area: sum of single points, level, weighted points (Anlage 2 zu § 15 SGB XI), the total (only the higher of areas 2 and 3 counts) and the resulting Pflegegrad with today's thresholds (12,5 / 27 / 47,5 / 70 / 90), the distance to the next grade, which area would gain most, and the comparison with the thresholds of the government draft for 2027 (PNOG, not yet law). Areas that are left out count as 0 and are listed as unanswered. Inputs are point values only, no personal data. Not for children up to 18 months (different procedure; the tool then links the children page).

Input parameters:
