## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 80/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 68/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1274 tokens (~159/item across 8 items; 8 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 3/100
  - Stability observed for 1 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 8 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 9 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

    "com-voxelrank-voxelrank": {
      "Transport": "http",
      "Url": "https://voxelrank.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```
### Vellum
```bash
assistant mcp add com-voxelrank-voxelrank -t streamable-http -u 'https://voxelrank.com/api/mcp'
```
### Other
```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "com-voxelrank-voxelrank": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://voxelrank.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```
The mcpServers block is a cross-client convention. Remote transports vary, so check your client's docs.
## MCP tools (8)
### `search_servers` (~262 tokens)
Search servers
Search the VoxelRank server list. Filter by game, tag, country and keyword, and sort it. Returns up to `limit` servers per page with address, players online, votes and links. No API key needed.
Input parameters:
- `country` (string): Two-letter country code where the server is hosted, e.g. "DE" or "US".
- `game` (string): Game key, e.g. "minecraft" or "rust". See list_games.
- `limit` (integer): Servers per page, 1-25 (default 10).
- `online_only` (boolean): Only servers that answered the last ping.
- `page` (integer): Page number, 1 = first. Without an API key, pages stop at 25.
- `query` (string): Keyword matched against name, address, tagline and description.
- `sort` (string): votes = most votes this month (default), players = most players now, rating = best reviewed, active = site rank, new = newest, bumped = recently bumped, updated = recently updated.
- `tag`: Tag or tags, e.g. "Survival" or ["Skyblock", "Economy"]. Any of them matches. list_games with a game lists its tags.
### `get_server` (~89 tokens)
Get server
One server's public details: address, version, online status, players, votes this month and in total, its rank on VoxelRank, rating, vote interval and links. No API key needed.
Input parameters:
- `server` (integer|string, required): The listing: its numeric id (e.g. 4964), "id-slug" (e.g. "4964-farcross") or slug.
### `top_servers` (~70 tokens)
Top servers
The most voted servers this month, for one game or across all games, in order. No API key needed.
Input parameters:
- `game` (string): Game key, e.g. "minecraft". Leave out for every game.
- `limit` (integer): How many, 1-25 (default 10).
### `list_games` (~58 tokens)
List games
Every game VoxelRank lists, with its key and how many public servers it has. Pass a game to also get its tags, for search_servers. No API key needed.
Input parameters:
- `game` (string): Optional game key whose tags to include.
### `list_my_servers` (~47 tokens)
List my servers
The listing your API key belongs to, with its review and visibility state, votes and rank. Needs your listing's API key as a Bearer token. Each listing has its own key.
### `get_vote_stats` (~103 tokens)
Get vote stats
Vote totals for your own listing: today, this month, all time, unique voters this month, rank, and a per-day count for the last `days` days. Needs your listing's API key.
Input parameters:
- `days` (integer): Days of daily counts, 1-90 (default 30).
- `server` (integer|string): Optional. Your listing's id or slug. Defaults to the listing the API key belongs to; any other listing is refused.
### `recent_votes` (~153 tokens)
Recent votes
Votes for your own listing in the last `hours` hours, oldest first: vote id, in-game name, time (unix seconds) and whether your plugin has claimed the reward. Pass the answer's next_after as `after` to get the next page. Needs your listing's API key.
Input parameters:
- `after` (integer): Only votes with a higher id than this (paging).
- `hours` (integer): How far back, in hours (default 24).
- `limit` (integer): Votes per page, 1-100 (default 50).
- `server` (integer|string): Optional. Your listing's id or slug. Defaults to the listing the API key belongs to; any other listing is refused.
### `update_server` (~389 tokens)
Update my server
Change fields of your own listing, with the same rules as the edit form on voxelrank.com. Send only the fields to change. Text is checked for abuse and an invite link is checked with Discord, so a save can be refused with a reason. Address, game, Votifier and plugin settings can only be changed on the website. Needs your listing's API key.
Input parameters:
- `country` (string): Two-letter country code where the server is hosted, e.g. "DE".
- `description` (string): Full description, 30-6000 characters. Plain text with line breaks.
- `discord` (string): Discord invite link (discord.gg/... or your own link that redirects to one). Empty string removes it.
- `languages` (array): Language codes spoken on the server, main one first, e.g. ["en", "de"]. Replaces the old list.
- `name` (string): Server name, 3-48 characters.
- `rewards_text` (string): What voters get, shown on the vote page. Up to 1000 characters.
- `server` (integer|string): Optional. Your listing's id or slug. Defaults to the listing the API key belongs to; any other listing is refused.
- `store_url` (string): Store link, starting with https://. Empty string removes it.
- `tagline` (string): One-line pitch shown under the name, up to 90 characters.
- `tags` (array): The full new tag list from this game's tags (list_games with game). Replaces the old list.
- `version` (string): Game version, e.g. "1.21.4" for Minecraft.
- `website` (string): Your website, starting with https:// or http://. Empty string removes it.
- `wiki_url` (string): Wiki link, starting with https://. Empty string removes it.
## Common questions
### What is the VoxelRank MCP server?
VoxelRank is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as com.voxelrank/voxelrank. Search game servers (Minecraft, Rust, FiveM and more), see votes and stats, edit your own listing. This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://voxelrank.com/api/mcp).
### Is the VoxelRank MCP server safe to use?
VoxelRank scores 73 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.
### What tools does the VoxelRank MCP server expose?
VoxelRank exposes 8 tools: search_servers, get_server, top_servers, list_games, list_my_servers, and 3 more. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 1,171 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.
### Does the VoxelRank MCP server require authentication?
No. We connected to VoxelRank without credentials and it answered, so anything it exposes is reachable by anyone who knows the address.
### Is the VoxelRank MCP server still maintained?
VoxelRank is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 5 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.
