## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-10-17.

- **Endpoint Security**: 51/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - Authorisation check failed: no authorisation is required to call this server, and it exposes a tool marked destructive (send_fax).
  - HTTPS enforcement could not be verified: the plaintext port answered with HTTP 405, which proves neither a plaintext path nor enforcement.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 68/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1117 tokens (~186/item across 6 items; 6 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 23/100
  - Stability observed for 7 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - All 1 tool(s) whose name or description implies an irreversible operation declare an MCP destructiveHint annotation.
  - An AI judge read all 7 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (6)

### `get_fax_price` (~123 tokens)

Check fax price

Calculate the pay-per-fax price for sending a fax to a specific number. No API key required. Supported: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and 39 more countries (same list as sendfaxfast.com); premium-rate numbers are not supported.

Input parameters:

- `fax_number` (string, required): Recipient fax number in E.164 format (e.g. +12125550100 for USA, +61212345678 for Australia, +911123456789 for India)
- `pages` (integer): Number of pages in the document (default: 1)

### `send_fax` (~505 tokens)

Send fax

Send a PDF document to a fax number. WITHOUT API key: returns a Stripe checkout link (pay-per-fax from $2.89) – the fax is sent after the user pays. WITH a Mini/Flex subscription key (sff_...): sends immediately from the subscription quota. The document must be a direct, publicly accessible HTTPS link to a PDF (max. 10 MB). Supported: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and 39 more countries (same list as sendfaxfast.com); premium-rate numbers are not supported. Each call transmits (or, for pay-per-fax, prepares the checkout for) a real fax to the given number. DOCUMENT (exactly one): "upload_id" from create_upload_link (for files on the user's device), "file" (a file attached in ChatGPT, filled in automatically), "document_url" (direct public HTTPS link to a PDF) or "document_base64" (tiny files only, max. 700 KB). For an attachment that is not available as "file", create_upload_link provides an upload link. The result states whether the fax was sent, scheduled or is awaiting payment.

Input parameters:

- `document_base64` (string): Only for very small files (max. 700 KB): the PDF, JPG or PNG as base64 or data: URI. Prefer create_upload_link.
- `document_name` (string): Optional: original file name of the document (e.g. "invoice.pdf"), shown on the transmission report. Not needed with upload_id or file.
- `document_url` (string): Direct, publicly accessible HTTPS URL of the PDF document to fax (no login or preview pages) Alternative to upload_id / file.
- `email` (string): Customer email for payment receipt and delivery confirmation (optional for pay-per-fax)
- `fax_number` (string, required): Recipient fax number in E.164 format (e.g. +12125550100)
- `file` (object): ChatGPT: the fax document the user attached in the chat (PDF, JPG or PNG). Filled in automatically by ChatGPT.
- `scheduled_at` (string): ISO 8601 datetime to schedule the fax (e.g. 2026-10-08T09:00:00-05:00). Leave empty to send immediately.
- `upload_id` (string): upload_id returned by create_upload_link (after the user uploaded the file). One-time use.

### `get_fax_status` (~89 tokens)

Get fax status

Check the delivery status of a fax. Use token for pay-per-fax orders, fax_id for subscription orders (fax_id requires your API key; only your own faxes are visible).

Input parameters:

- `fax_id` (integer): Fax ID returned by send_fax for subscription orders (requires API key)
- `token` (string): Token returned by send_fax for pay-per-fax orders

### `get_account_info` (~33 tokens)

Get subscription info

Get subscription plan details, remaining fax quota, and billing period. Requires your subscription API key (sff_...).

### `list_fax_history` (~66 tokens)

List fax history

List recent faxes sent from this subscription account. Requires your subscription API key (sff_...).

Input parameters:

- `limit` (integer): Number of results to return (1–50, default: 10)
- `offset` (integer): Pagination offset (default: 0)

### `create_upload_link` (~108 tokens)

Create upload link

Creates a secure one-time upload link (valid 30 minutes) for the fax document (PDF, JPG or PNG, max. 10 MB) – upload from phone or computer by drag & drop, file picker or camera. For files on the user's device, or chat attachments that are not available as send_fax's "file" parameter. The user opens upload_url and uploads the file; send_fax then accepts the returned upload_id. Creating a link sends nothing and costs nothing.
