## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 74/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 67/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 729 tokens (~145/item across 5 items; 5 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 13/100
  - Stability observed for 4 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 5 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 6 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 60/100
  - Spec-recency check failed: implements MCP spec 2025-06-18; the latest is 2026-07-28.

## Changelog

Every change recorded for this component, newest first. Days that predate change tracking, or that we cannot explain, say so: "we were watching and nothing happened" and "we were not watching" are different claims.

### 2026-11-05 (score 70, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 10 to 13. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 3 days of observed history at the previous scan, 4 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

### 2026-11-03 (score 69, 0)

- [security] Tool “fact_check_claim” rewrote its description, which is the text the model reads

## MCP tools (5)

### `fact_check_claim` (~373 tokens)

Fact Check Claim

PAID tool ($0.25 USDC via x402 — pay in USDC on Base, USDC on Arc, USDC on Solana, XRP on XRPL at the live spot rate, or XAH on Xahau at the live spot rate). Fact-check a claim against live web sources: the claim is decomposed into sub-claims, sources are fetched live, Jev jurors judge per-source-family entailment with verbatim-quote evidence that must pass an anti-hallucination substring gate, and the verdict is coherence-gated (coherence = |sum(w*d)| / sum(w) over source families, weights 3/2/1 by source class) and sealed as a stored receipt. Send the x402 PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header on the /mcp request; without payment the call returns the canonical x402 challenge (HTTP 402 with five accepts: Base USDC amount 250000 = $0.25, Solana USDC amount 250000, XRPL XRP in drops at the live spot rate, Arc USDC amount 250000, and Xahau XAH in drops at the live spot rate, each to that rail canonical SML receiver). If the jury is not configured the call fails before any payment is requested, so nobody pays for a check that cannot run.

Input parameters:

- `claim` (string, required): The claim to fact-check, as a single statement or a short paragraph.
- `sources` (array): Optional public HTTPS source URLs to check against (max 8). When omitted or fewer than 2 are usable, ClaimGate searches the live web.
- `sub_claims` (array): Optional caller-provided decomposition of the claim into sub-claims (max 4). When omitted, the claim text is split into sentences.

### `fact_check_preview` (~120 tokens)

Fact Check Preview

Free preview: decompose a claim into sub-claims, fetch the sources live (or search for them), classify each source and group sources into independent families, and show exactly what a paid fact_check_claim would check. No verdict, no jury calls, no payment.

Input parameters:

- `claim` (string, required): The claim to fact-check, as a single statement or a short paragraph.
- `sources` (array): Optional public HTTPS source URLs to check against (max 8). When omitted or fewer than 2 are usable, ClaimGate searches the live web.

### `fact_check_status` (~43 tokens)

Fact Check Status

Check whether ClaimGate is live, whether the Jev jury is configured, which x402 facilitator is selected, how many receipts are stored, and the paid-check price.

### `fact_check_methodology` (~57 tokens)

Fact Check Methodology

The full public ClaimGate methodology: coherence formula, source-class weights, verdict thresholds, the anti-hallucination verbatim-quote gate, family independence rules, and honest limits. calibrated:false — thresholds are stated, not fitted.

### `fact_check_receipt` (~76 tokens)

Fact Check Receipt

Fetch a stored ClaimGate receipt by receipt_id (the sealed record of a paid fact check: sub-claims, sources, per-family verdicts with validated verbatim quotes, coherence, verdict, and payment).

Input parameters:

- `receipt_id` (string, required): Receipt id returned by fact_check_claim, e.g. cg_..._........
