## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 97/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - Authorisation is enforced on tool calls, advertised via RFC 9728 protected-resource metadata. Discovery is public, which costs nothing: no tool can be invoked without a token.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
  - The authorisation server supports Client ID Metadata Documents, the current MCP client-registration mechanism.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 68/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 525 tokens (~262/item across 2 items; 2 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 3/100
  - Stability observed for 1 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
  - Structured output schemas are declared (100% of tools); any adoption earns full credit.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 2 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 2 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (2)

### `ocr_pdf` (~388 tokens)

OCR a scanned PDF or image

Queue a scanned PDF, PNG or JPEG for OCR with OCRmyPDF and Tesseract.

The result is the same document with a searchable text layer, as PDF/A
by default. Pass the file as base64 in `content_base64` (up to 4 MB) or
as a download link in `file` (up to 25 MB), and its name in `filename`.
Up to 200 pages; an image is one page.

Returns `job_id`, `status`, `pages` and `credits`. Call
\`get_ocr_result` with the `job_id` until `status` is `succeeded` or
\`failed`; a job is stopped after 15 minutes.

Requires an API key. Costs 2 credits per page, charged now and
refunded if the job fails. The result is kept for 7 days.

Input parameters:

- `content_base64`: The file content, base64-encoded. Up to 4 MB before encoding.
- `deskew` (boolean): Straighten crooked pages. Not with mode=redo.
- `file` (object): The file as a download link, instead of `content_base64`. In ChatGPT, pass the user's uploaded file here. Other clients can set `download_url` to a public https URL.
- `filename` (string, required): The file name with its extension: .pdf, .png, .jpg or .jpeg.
- `language` (string): The document's language: eng, deu, spa or fra.
- `mode` (string): Pages that already have text: skip them (the default), redo an earlier OCR layer, or force OCR on every page as an image.
- `output_type` (string): pdfa (PDF/A-2b, the default) or pdf.
- `rotate_pages` (boolean): Turn pages that are upside down or sideways.

### `get_ocr_result` (~137 tokens)

Check an OCR job

Check an OCR job you queued with `ocr_pdf`.

Returns `job_id` and `status` (`queued`, `running`, `succeeded` or
\`failed`). A succeeded job includes `download_url`, a link to the
searchable PDF that works for 60 minutes without an API key: give it
to the user. A failed job includes `error` (one sentence) and `code`.
Results are deleted 7 days after submission. Requires an API key.

Credits: free. This tool is not metered.

Input parameters:

- `job_id` (string, required): The `job_id` returned by `ocr_pdf`.
