## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-06.

- **Endpoint Security**: 80/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Nothing on it is marked destructive, but we can't show that an anonymous caller can only read: full credit needs the server to list at least one tool and every tool to be verifiably read-only. We use a best-effort check of tool names and descriptions to tell read-only tools from tools that change things, so some genuinely read-only tools may not get full credit. Names that start with a read verb (get, list, read, search and similar) and accurate readOnlyHint annotations help. Meet that to earn full credit, or require authorisation.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 64/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1809 tokens (~301/item across 6 items; 6 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 53/100
  - Stability observed for 16 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 6 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 7 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 60/100
  - Spec-recency check failed: implements MCP spec 2025-06-18; the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (6)

### `estimate_house_cleaning_price` (~320 tokens)

Estimate a house cleaning price

Prices one residential house cleaning visit with the math behind EosLog's free cleaning price calculator: time on site from the home's size and square footage, times a frequency factor and the cleaner's hourly rate, plus supplies, drive and add-ons, adjusted for the local market and rounded to $5. Returns the price, a low to high range, hours on site, a per square foot cross-check, the math, and a link that opens the calculator with these inputs so the user can adjust them. Every input is optional and has the calculator's default.

Input parameters:

- `addons` (array): Extras that apply: pets (+$15), kids under 10 (+$20), oven inside (+$35), fridge inside (+$30), trash takeout (+$10), laundry, one load washed and folded (+$20).
- `frequency` (string): How often the home is cleaned. deep is a first or one-time deep clean; moveout is a one-time move-out clean.
- `hourly_rate` (integer): What the cleaner bills per cleaner-hour, in US dollars.
- `market` (string): rural (0.80x), standard for most US metros (1.00x), or coastal for a high-cost coastal metro (1.30x).
- `size` (string): Bedrooms and bathrooms, for example 3br2ba for 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- `sqft` (integer): Square footage. Defaults to the typical size for the layout (1,600 for 3br2ba).

### `create_quote_pdf` (~345 tokens)

Create a quote PDF

Makes a professional quote (estimate) PDF for a small service business from the details the user gives: the business name, the customer, and each line item's name, quantity and price, plus an optional tax rate, discount, deposit, note and how many days the quote stays valid. EosLog adds up the subtotal, discount, tax and total, saves the quote behind an unguessable link for 90 days, and returns that link (view, download or email the PDF) and a direct PDF link. Use it when the user wants a quote or estimate to send a customer. It uses the user's prices and never sets them.

Input parameters:

- `business_email` (string): Business email to print on it.
- `business_name` (string, required): The business sending the document, as it should print at the top.
- `business_phone` (string): Business phone to print on it.
- `customer_name` (string): Who the document is for, a person or a company. Printed as Customer when left out.
- `deposit_percent` (number): Optional deposit to schedule the job, as a percent of the total.
- `discount_percent` (number): Optional discount, as a percent off the subtotal.
- `line_items` (array, required): One row per service or item, with the prices the user gives.
- `message` (string): Optional note to the customer.
- `tax_rate` (number): Sales tax percent on the subtotal after any discount, for example 8.25. The user supplies it.
- `title` (string): Optional subject line, for example Biweekly house cleaning.
- `valid_days` (integer): How many days the quote stays valid.

### `create_invoice_pdf` (~388 tokens)

Create an invoice PDF

Makes a professional invoice PDF for a small service business from the details the user gives: the business name, the customer, and each line item's name, quantity and price, plus an optional tax rate, discount, payment terms, service date, invoice number and note. EosLog adds up the subtotal, discount, tax and total due, sets the due date from the payment terms, saves the invoice behind an unguessable link for 90 days, and returns that link (view, download or email the PDF) and a direct PDF link. Use it when the user wants an invoice to send a customer.

- `discount_percent` (number): Optional discount, as a percent off the subtotal.
- `invoice_number` (string): Optional invoice number. One based on the date and time is used when left out.
- `line_items` (array, required): One row per service or item, with the prices the user gives.
- `notes` (string): Optional note, such as how to pay.
- `payment_terms` (string): When payment is due: on receipt, or 15, 30 or 45 days after the invoice date.
- `service_date` (string): Optional date or period of the work, as text, for example October 2026 or 10/1 to 10/15.
- `tax_rate` (number): Sales tax percent on the subtotal after any discount, for example 8.25. The user supplies it.

### `cleaning_sales_tax_by_state` (~139 tokens)

Check if cleaning is taxable in a state

Says whether state sales tax (or the state's equivalent) applies to home (residential) and commercial cleaning services in one US state or DC, from EosLog's state by state reference. Each answer is what that state's own official pages say, with the official source links, the state base rate where the source states one, and the date it was checked. It is not tax advice and does not cover local taxes.

Input parameters:

- `audience` (string): home for residential cleaning, commercial for offices and other businesses, or both.
- `state` (string, required): Two-letter code (TX) or full name (Texas). DC is included.

### `gas_leaf_blower_rules` (~177 tokens)

Look up gas leaf blower rules

Lists adopted local laws that ban or restrict gas leaf blowers in one US state, or one city or town in it, from EosLog's sourced table: the rule, when it took or takes effect and any later phases, who is cited, the penalty, and the official sources with the date each row was checked. Also reports a state law that blocks local bans (Florida, Georgia, Texas, Iowa, and Indiana). Without a city it lists every place in the state briefly; pass city for the full row. A place with no row may still have a rule EosLog has not confirmed.

Input parameters:

- `city` (string): Optional city, town, village or county name, for example Los Angeles.
- `state` (string, required): Two-letter code (CA) or full name (California). DC is included.

### `find_free_tool` (~131 tokens)

Find a free EosLog tool

Finds the free EosLog tool for a service business task: a quote or invoice generator (with a page for the trade where one exists), a price calculator for house, move-out, deep, commercial or Airbnb cleaning, pressure washing or landscaping (with the URL params that prefill it), or contract and form templates, filtered by trade when given. Returns titles and https://eoslog.com URLs. Every tool is free and needs no account.

Input parameters:

- `need` (string, required): What the user is trying to do.
- `trade` (string): Optional trade, used to pick trade pages and templates.

## Common questions

### What is the EosLog Free Tools MCP server?

EosLog Free Tools is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as com.eoslog/free-tools. Quote and invoice PDFs, cleaning prices, sales tax and leaf blower rules for US service businesses. This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://eoslog.com/mcp/free).

### Is the EosLog Free Tools MCP server safe to use?

EosLog Free Tools scores 77 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the EosLog Free Tools MCP server expose?

EosLog Free Tools exposes 6 tools: estimate_house_cleaning_price, create_quote_pdf, create_invoice_pdf, cleaning_sales_tax_by_state, gas_leaf_blower_rules, find_free_tool. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 1,500 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Does the EosLog Free Tools MCP server require authentication?

No. We connected to EosLog Free Tools without credentials and it answered, so anything it exposes is reachable by anyone who knows the address.

### Is the EosLog Free Tools MCP server still maintained?

EosLog Free Tools is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 6 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.

### What did VerifyMCP test on the EosLog Free Tools MCP server?

VerifyMCP ran 13 checks on EosLog Free Tools, covering TLS certificate, Authorization, HTTPS, HSTS header and 9 more. Supply Chain Security and Provenance & Transparency do not apply to a hosted endpoint, so they were not tested. The score does not measure everything, and the scoring documentation lists what it leaves out.
