## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 63/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Nothing on it is marked destructive, but we can't show that an anonymous caller can only read: full credit needs the server to list at least one tool and every tool to be verifiably read-only. We use a best-effort check of tool names and descriptions to tell read-only tools from tools that change things, so some genuinely read-only tools may not get full credit. Names that start with a read verb (get, list, read, search and similar) and accurate readOnlyHint annotations help. Meet that to earn full credit, or require authorisation.
  - HTTPS enforcement could not be verified: the plaintext port answered with HTTP 405, which proves neither a plaintext path nor enforcement.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 55/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1715 tokens (~343/item across 5 items; 5 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 17/100
  - Stability observed for 5 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 96/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 89% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 5 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 6 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a current MCP spec version (2026-07-28).

## Changelog

Every change recorded for this component, newest first. Days that predate change tracking, or that we cannot explain, say so: "we were watching and nothing happened" and "we were not watching" are different claims.

### 2026-11-04 (score 65, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 10 to 13. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 3 days of observed history at the previous scan, 4 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

## MCP tools (5)

### `pick_numbers` (~645 tokens)

Pick lottery numbers

Random numbers for a lottery game, 1 to 10 sets. Either name a game: kr645 (Lotto 6/45 (South Korea)), powerball (Powerball (USA)), megamillions (Mega Millions (USA, matrix since 2025-04-08)), euromillions (EuroMillions), uk_lotto (Lotto (UK)), jp_loto6 (Loto 6 (Japan)), jp_loto7 (Loto 7 (Japan)), thunderball (Thunderball (UK)), set_for_life (Set For Life (UK)), fr_loto (Loto (France)), br_megasena (Mega-Sena (Brazil)), br_lotofacil (Lotofácil (Brazil)), br_quina (Quina (Brazil)), br_maismilionaria (+Milionária (Brazil)); or give your own format with game "custom": count numbers from min (default 1) to max, and optionally extra_count numbers from 1 to extra_max drawn apart (a bonus ball). The result page shows the seed that reproduces it. For a named game, put in what your user said (keep, leave_out, date, odd, sum_min, sum_max, text): the page shows every way at once, those filled. The answer is a drawstoday.com link where the result is shown; the answer itself carries no result.

Input parameters:

- `count` (integer): custom: how many numbers per set.
- `date` (string): Named game: a date that matters to your user, YYYY-MM-DD; its day and month go into the line (the date way).
- `extra_count` (integer): custom: how many extra (bonus) numbers, drawn apart.
- `extra_max` (integer): custom: the largest extra number (extras start at 1).
- `game` (string): A game, or "custom" with count and max. May be left out when count and max are given.
- `keep` (array): Named game: numbers your user wants in every line. The page shows them drawn as the number-board way.
- `leave_out` (array): Named game: numbers your user wants left out (the number-board way).
- `max` (integer): custom: the largest number.
- `min` (integer): custom: the smallest number.
- `odd` (integer): Named game: how many odd numbers per line (the balanced way).
- `seed` (string): Optional. 64 hex characters. Give the seed shown on an earlier result page to get the same result again (that is how a draw is checked). Leave it out for a fresh draw.
- `sets` (integer)
- `sum_max` (integer): Named game: the largest sum of a line (the balanced way).
- `sum_min` (integer): Named game: the smallest sum of a line (the balanced way).
- `text` (string): Named game: your user's own words (a wish, a name, a dream). The page has them written in; prismtect.com draws numbers from them when your user presses send there.

### `get_draw` (~106 tokens)

Get winning numbers

The winning numbers of the latest draw, or of one past draw. kr645: give the draw number (회차). powerball, megamillions: give the draw date YYYY-MM-DD. Sources: dhlottery.co.kr (Korea), data.ny.gov (USA).

Input parameters:

- `draw` (string|integer): Optional. Draw number (kr645) or draw date YYYY-MM-DD (USA). Leave it out for the latest.
- `game` (string, required)

### `check_ticket` (~183 tokens)

Check a ticket

Compare your numbers with a draw (the latest unless you give one). kr645 gives the rank and the prize per winner from the official record; powerball and megamillions give the match (prize amounts depend on state and multiplier and are not given). The answer is a drawstoday.com link where the result is shown; the answer itself carries no result.

Input parameters:

- `draw` (string|integer): Optional, as in get_draw.
- `extra_number` (integer): powerball: your Powerball 1-26. megamillions: your Mega Ball 1-24. Not used for kr645.
- `game` (string, required)
- `numbers` (array, required): kr645: 6 numbers 1-45. powerball: 5 numbers 1-69. megamillions: 5 numbers 1-70.

### `sentence_numbers_link` (~306 tokens)

Numbers from the user's own sentence (a link)

For a user who wants lottery numbers drawn from a sentence of their own (a wish, a name, a question). If they also give numbers to keep or leave out, a date, or an odd/sum wish, call pick_numbers with all of it instead (the sentence as text). Give the sentence and the lottery format (a game, or custom count and max with optional extras); the answer is one link. For a game it opens drawstoday.com with the sentence filled in, and the numbers are drawn when the user presses send there; for a custom format it is a prismtect.com link that draws them there (it works for 30 days). This tool makes no numbers. Ranges: min 0 or 1, max up to 99, at most 8 numbers in all.

Input parameters:

- `count` (integer): custom: how many numbers.
- `extra_count` (integer): custom: how many extra (bonus) numbers, drawn apart.
- `extra_max` (integer): custom: the largest extra number (extras start at 1).
- `game` (string): A game, or "custom" with count and max. May be left out when count and max are given.
- `max` (integer): custom: the largest number.
- `min` (integer): custom: the smallest number, 0 or 1.
- `text` (string, required): The user's sentence, 1 to 500 characters, no line breaks.

### `prismtect_number` (~71 tokens)

Prismtect number (human touch only)

A personal two-digit number from the Prismtect glass prism, for a user who asks for a lucky number, a number of their own or a number for today. Only a human touch can draw it, so this tool gives no number: it gives the link your user taps themselves. Pass the link on.

## Common questions

### What is the Lottery Numbers MCP server?

Lottery Numbers is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as com.drawstoday/lottery-numbers. Lottery picks in any format, past draws, ticket check, and a link for numbers drawn from a sentence. This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://drawstoday.com/mcp/lottery).

### Is the Lottery Numbers MCP server safe to use?

Lottery Numbers scores 65 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the Lottery Numbers MCP server expose?

Lottery Numbers exposes 5 tools: pick_numbers, get_draw, check_ticket, sentence_numbers_link, prismtect_number. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 1,311 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Does the Lottery Numbers MCP server require authentication?

No. We connected to Lottery Numbers without credentials and it answered, so anything it exposes is reachable by anyone who knows the address.

### Is the Lottery Numbers MCP server still maintained?

Lottery Numbers is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 5 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.

### What did VerifyMCP test on the Lottery Numbers MCP server?

VerifyMCP ran 12 checks on Lottery Numbers, covering TLS certificate, Authorization, HSTS header, DNSSEC and 8 more. One item could not be completed, a gap on our side rather than a finding about Lottery Numbers: HTTPS. Supply Chain Security and Provenance & Transparency do not apply to a hosted endpoint, so they were not tested. The score does not measure everything, and the scoring documentation lists what it leaves out.
