## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 92/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - The endpoint enforces authorisation, advertised via RFC 9728 protected-resource metadata.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - HSTS check failed: the Strict-Transport-Security header is absent.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
  - The authorisation server supports Client ID Metadata Documents, the current MCP client-registration mechanism.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 0/100
  - Transport blocked by authentication: the endpoint requires auth we don't have to verify streamable-http.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 0/100
  - Schema blocked by authentication: the endpoint requires auth we don't have to read it.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 0/100
  - Stability not yet verified: not enough scan history yet (needs a 30-day window).
- **Tool Coverage**: 0/100
  - Tool coverage blocked by authentication: the endpoint requires auth we don't have to read its tools.
- **Tool Safety**: 0/100
  - Tool safety blocked by authentication: the endpoint requires auth we don't have to read its tools.
- **Capabilities**: 0/100
  - Capabilities blocked by authentication: the endpoint requires auth we don't have to read them.

**Unverified: 6 categories.** Categories scored 0 because we could not verify them: authentication we do not have, an unreachable endpoint, or not enough scan history. We only credit what we can confirm.

## Install

### How do I install the Doconda MCP server?

Doconda is a hosted endpoint at https://api.eu.doconda.com/mcp, so there is nothing to install locally. Ready-made configuration for Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and 5 more is on this page, copied from each client's own documentation.

## MCP tools (8)

### `create_document` (~598 tokens)

Create document

Create a finished document: Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Excel or an artifact (a web page with its own shared database, e.g. a poll or a team checklist). Choose only the format: Doconda works out what kind of document it is (contract, letter, report…) from the request. Give `prompt` to have it written, or `markdown` with the content already written. Waits until it is ready and returns download links.

Input parameters:

- `data` (string): Artifacts only. shared (default): everyone with the link sees the same data (polls, team lists). local: each visitor keeps their own in their browser (calculators, personal checklists). With retentio…
- `format` (string): docx → Word (+ PDF); pdf → only the PDF; pptx → PowerPoint (+ PDF); xlsx → Excel (+ PDF); artifact → web page. If the user didn't say, leave it out and Doconda decides from the prompt.
- `markdown` (string): Content already written, in Markdown (instead of prompt). For an artifact, the content its page shows.
- `max_quality` (string): Only with quality auto: the highest level Doconda may choose. It caps the price and the amount held, e.g. standard.
- `name` (string): Optional: a name to find it later, e.g. 'Contrato piso Malasaña'. It also names the files.
- `prompt` (string): What to write, in the user's words (topic, audience, length, tone). Formatting wishes too, e.g. 'blue centred headings, with a cover page'.
- `quality` (string): Optional. fast: the cheapest and quickest (seconds), basic style. standard: more design, takes minutes. best: the highest quality and price, e.g. to copy a file's design or to edit with comments or t…
- `retention` (string): Optional: how long Doconda keeps it once finished (none = 15 minutes). Without it, the project's retention (30 days unless changed). The user should save the file before then.
- `source_file_ids` (array): Uploaded files (upload_file) or documents already made (their id, from list_documents): documents to base the text on (up to 5, with prompt) and pictures to put in the document (up to 10; with markdo…
- `style` (string): Optional: the look in plain words, e.g. 'blue centred headings, Lora font, page numbers, table of contents'.

### `upload_file` (~147 tokens)

Upload file

Upload a file (Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Excel — also the old .doc, .ppt and .xls —, TXT, Markdown, or a PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP picture; up to 20 MB) to review or edit it, or to use it as a source. Returns its file_id. Give `url` (public) or `content_base64`.

Input parameters:

- `content_base64` (string): The file's bytes in base64 (for small files).
- `filename` (string): Its name with extension, e.g. contract.docx. Needed with content_base64.
- `url` (string): A public URL to download the file from.

### `review_document` (~185 tokens)

Review document

Check an uploaded Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF file (also .doc, .ppt, .xls) for problems and fix the safe ones without touching the content, no AI: tables off the page, split signatures and broken numbering in Word; text overflowing its box or shapes off the slide in PowerPoint; formula errors, numbers stored as text or sheets too wide to print in Excel; scanned pages without text, missing title or language in PDF; amounts in words that don't match the figures in all of them. Files with macros are rejected; other dangerous content (external links and pictures, embedded files, automatic actions…) is removed. Returns the fixed file (old formats come back as .docx/.pptx/.xlsx) and what was found.

Input parameters:

- `file_id` (string, required): From upload_file, or the id of a document Doconda made (list_documents).

### `edit_document` (~239 tokens)

Edit document

Change an uploaded Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF file as asked (e.g. 'blue headings and add a confidentiality clause'). Only what is asked changes; the rest stays identical. Returns the new file and a link to the report of every change.

Input parameters:

- `file_id` (string, required): From upload_file, or the id of a document Doconda made (list_documents).
- `instructions` (string, required): What to change, in the user's words.
- `max_quality` (string): Only with quality auto: the highest level Doconda may choose. It caps the price and the amount held, e.g. standard.
- `quality` (string): Optional. fast: the cheapest and quickest (seconds), basic style. standard: more design, takes minutes. best: the highest quality and price, e.g. to copy a file's design or to edit with comments or t…

### `list_documents` (~68 tokens)

List documents

The latest documents made in this project (newest first), with their id and name. Use an id as file_id to review, edit or read one, or in source_file_ids to create from it.

Input parameters:

- `limit` (number): How many, 1–100 (default 20).

### `get_document` (~34 tokens)

Get document

A document's status and fresh download links (they expire after 5 minutes).

Input parameters:

- `document_id` (string, required): doc_…

### `get_report` (~50 tokens)

Get report

What a review or edit found and did: problems left, fixes applied or rejected (and why), and for edits every change with the text before and after.

Input parameters:

- `document_id` (string, required): doc_…

### `read_artifact_data` (~72 tokens)

Read artifact data

What people have saved in an artifact's page (e.g. poll votes): its collections, or one collection's records, newest first.

Input parameters:

- `collection` (string): Optional: one collection's records instead of the list of collections.
- `document_id` (string, required): The artifact's doc_… id.

## Common questions

### What is the Doconda MCP server?

Doconda is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as com.doconda/mcp. Convert, create and edit Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF documents from any AI agent. This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://api.eu.doconda.com/mcp).

### Is the Doconda MCP server safe to use?

Doconda scores 37 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the Doconda MCP server expose?

Doconda exposes 8 tools: create_document, upload_file, review_document, edit_document, list_documents, and 3 more. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 1,393 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Does the Doconda MCP server require authentication?

Yes. Doconda asked us for credentials when we connected, so you will need to authorise it in your MCP client before it can do anything.

### Is the Doconda MCP server still maintained?

Doconda is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 5 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.
