## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 80/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 62/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 844 tokens (~168/item across 5 items; 5 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 13/100
  - Stability observed for 4 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 83/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 48% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 5 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 6 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

The mcpServers block is a cross-client convention. Remote transports vary, so check your client's docs.

## Changelog

Every change recorded for this component, newest first. Days that predate change tracking, or that we cannot explain, say so: "we were watching and nothing happened" and "we were not watching" are different claims.

### 2026-11-05 (score 72, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 10 to 13. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 3 days of observed history at the previous scan, 4 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

### 2026-11-03 (score 71, +1)

No change was recorded against any check on this day. Stability & Change Management went from 3 to 7. That category is still filling its 30-day observation window: 1 days of observed history at the previous scan, 2 at this one. The score rises as the window fills, whether or not the server changes.

### 2026-11-02 (score 70, 0)

- [security] Tool “search_stays” rewrote its description, which is the text the model reads
- [functional improvement] Stability: unverified → 0.03
- [cosmetic] “search_stays” added an optional parameter “cursor”

## MCP tools (5)

### `search_stays` (~232 tokens)

Search stays

Find hotels with a room free for the dates and guests. Returns each stay's cheapest fitting room with a quote (price, ATA fee 5%, typical 15-20% OTA cut). Demo hotels are marked demo: true. Results come in pages: when more_results is true, call search_stays again with the same arguments plus cursor: next_cursor to get the rest. Nothing is left out.

Input parameters:

- `check_in` (string, required): Arrival date, YYYY-MM-DD
- `check_out` (string, required): Departure date, YYYY-MM-DD
- `cursor` (string): next_cursor from the previous page of this same search, to get the next page
- `guests` (integer, required): Number of guests in one room
- `max_price_per_night` (number): Budget per night in the hotel's currency (EUR in the demo)
- `place` (string, required): City, area, country or hotel name, e.g. 'Bangkok' or 'Gamla Stan'
- `wants` (array): Nice-to-haves, e.g. ['pool','beach','quiet']; ranks matches first

### `get_stay` (~83 tokens)

Get stay details

Rooms, prices, what's included, check-in/out times and cancellation terms for one stay. Demo hotels are marked demo: true.

Input parameters:

- `check_in` (string): Optional: with check_out, adds availability and a quote per room
- `check_out`
- `guests` (integer)
- `stay_id` (string, required): stay_id from search_stays

### `check_availability` (~74 tokens)

Check availability

Re-check one room for exact dates and guests right before booking. Returns available yes/no and the live quote. Demo hotels are marked demo: true.

Input parameters:

- `check_in` (string, required)
- `check_out` (required)
- `guests` (integer, required)
- `room_id` (required)
- `stay_id` (string, required)

### `book_direct` (~253 tokens)

Book direct with the hotel

Places a 15-minute HOLD on the room and emails the guest a 6-digit code. Nothing is booked and nothing reaches the hotel until the guest confirms. After calling, tell the guest: check your email (the result shows the masked address), then either read the code back to you (call confirm_booking) or click Confirm in the email. Send an idempotency_key and reuse it if you retry. Confirm name, email, dates and price with the guest before calling. Demo hotels (demo: true) confirm at once and send no email.

Input parameters:

- `agent` (string): Name of the AI agent/app placing the request
- `check_in` (string, required)
- `check_out` (required)
- `guest_email` (string, required)
- `guest_name` (string, required)
- `guest_phone` (string)
- `guests` (integer, required)
- `idempotency_key` (string): One per booking attempt (8-128 of A-Z a-z 0-9 _ -). Reuse it on retries to get the same hold back.
- `notes` (string): Requests for the hotel, e.g. late arrival
- `room_id` (required)
- `stay_id` (string, required)

### `confirm_booking` (~78 tokens)

Confirm a held booking

Confirm a held booking with the 6-digit code the guest received by email. Only use a code the guest gave you. Five wrong codes cancel the hold. Confirming twice returns the same booking.

Input parameters:

- `code` (string, required): The 6-digit code from the guest's email
- `hold_id` (string, required): hold_id from book_direct

### What tools does the ATAbooking MCP server expose?
