## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 80/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 61/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 822 tokens (~205/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 80/100
  - Stability observed for 24 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 4 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 5 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a current MCP spec version (2026-07-28).

## MCP tools (4)

### `season_for_date` (~128 tokens)

Season for a date

Returns where a date falls in the Western church year: the season (Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, or the season after Pentecost, also called Ordinary Time), the week of the season, the day's observance and liturgical color, the church year and its lectionary year (A, B or C), and that year's Western Easter and Orthodox Pascha. Defaults to today in Mountain Time.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Date in YYYY-MM-DD form, years 1583 to 4099. Defaults to today in Mountain Time.

### `readings_for_sunday` (~276 tokens)

Readings for a Sunday or feast

Returns the appointed Bible readings (first reading, psalm, second reading, gospel, with the alternatives) for a Sunday or major feast from the three-year Sunday lectionary of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, which is public domain. Give a date (a weekday without its own lessons moves to the next Sunday) or an occasion such as "advent-1", "proper-23", "easter-day" or "christmas-day" with a year of A, B or C. With include_text, adds the passage text from the World English Bible or King James Version, both public domain. Citations only, never another translation.

Input parameters:

- `date` (string): Date in YYYY-MM-DD form. Defaults to the next Sunday, Mountain Time.
- `include_text` (boolean): Also return the text of the first set of readings. Default false.
- `occasion` (string): Lectionary occasion instead of a date, for example "advent-1", "lent-3", "proper-12", "trinity", "all-saints".
- `translation` (string): Translation for the text: "web" (World English Bible, default) or "kjv".
- `year` (string): Lectionary year for an occasion. Defaults to the year now in use.

### `upcoming_feast_days` (~208 tokens)

Upcoming feast days

Lists the dated feasts, fasts and holy days in a window: Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, Trinity, Christ the King, Advent, Christmas, the Epiphany, the feasts of our Lord, apostles and evangelists, with each day's color. Applies the 1979 Book of Common Prayer rules that move a feast off a Sunday or out of Holy Week and Easter Week. Optionally includes Orthodox Pascha, Julian-calendar Christmas and Reformation Day.

Input parameters:

- `days` (integer): Length of the window in days, 1 to 400. Default 60.
- `from` (string): First date of the window, YYYY-MM-DD. Defaults to today in Mountain Time.
- `include_other_traditions` (boolean): Include Orthodox Pascha, Julian-calendar Christmas and Reformation Day. Default true.
- `include_saints_days` (boolean): Include apostles', evangelists' and other saints' days. Default true.

### `plan_sermon_series` (~160 tokens)

Plan a sermon series

Lays out a run of Sundays from a start date: each Sunday's name, season, color, lectionary year and appointed readings from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer lectionary, the seasons the run crosses, feasts that fall on those Sundays, and every book read on three or more consecutive Sundays, with the longest such run named as a possible series spine. Rule-based, no generated text.

Input parameters:

- `focus` (string): Look for the series spine in one reading only: first, second, gospel or psalm.
- `start_date` (string, required): First date of the series, YYYY-MM-DD. A weekday starts at the next Sunday.
- `weeks` (integer, required): Number of Sundays, 1 to 26.
