## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-10-17.

- **Endpoint Security**: 83/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC is configured correctly; the domain's records validate against the full chain to the root.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 86/100
  - 100% of prompts and resources have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the item's name).
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Tool/resource definitions use about 1335 tokens (~89/item across 15 items; 14 tools + 1 resources), lean.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 33/100
  - Stability observed for 10 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 85/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 56% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 14 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 16 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a current MCP spec version (2026-07-28).
  - Supports UI / widget rendering.

## MCP tools (14)

### `studio_info` (~32 tokens)

About Squatch Stack

What Squatch Stack (a software and hardware studio in the Missouri Ozarks) builds, and how to reach it.

### `list_goods` (~79 tokens)

List Squatch Stack goods

Browse the Squatch Stack shop (tees, mugs, hats, stickers, posters, totes). Optional text search and kind filter. Prices in USD; tax and shipping are added at checkout.

Input parameters:

- `kind` (string)
- `query` (string): Words to match in the product name, e.g. 'founder' or 'mug'

### `show_shop` (~103 tokens)

Open the Squatch Stack shop

Show the Squatch Stack goods as an interactive shop the person can browse: photos, colours and sizes, and a Buy button that opens the shop's secure checkout in their browser. Use it when someone wants to look around or buy. Optional search words or kind narrow it. Apps without interactive views get the same list as text.

Input parameters:

- `kind` (string)
- `query` (string): Words to match, e.g. 'founder' or 'mug'

### `get_good` (~46 tokens)

Get one product

Details for one Squatch Stack product by slug: description, every variant (color/size) with its variant_id and price.

Input parameters:

- `slug` (string, required): Product slug from list_goods

### `start_checkout` (~58 tokens)

Make a checkout link

Build Squatch Stack checkout links for the chosen variants. It does NOT buy anything: give the links to the person, who reviews the cart and pays on the store's secure checkout (tax and shipping calculated there).

Input parameters:

- `items` (array, required)

### `search_walks` (~74 tokens)

Search the Wild Man of the Way essays

Find essays from 'Wild Man of the Way' (24 walks on theplainlystated.com) by words, thinker (e.g. Zhuangzi, Seneca, Thoreau) or format. Returns titles, short excerpts and links.

Input parameters:

- `format` (string)
- `query` (string)

### `get_walk` (~50 tokens)

Get one essay

One 'Wild Man of the Way' essay by number (1-24): title, thinkers, reading time, an opening excerpt and the link to read it in full.

Input parameters:

- `n` (integer, required)

### `contact_draft` (~70 tokens)

Draft an email to the studio

Make a ready-to-send email link (mailto) to Squatch Stack with a fitting subject and body. It sends nothing; the person opens it in their mail app.

Input parameters:

- `summary` (string): One or two lines about what they want, placed in the body
- `topic` (string)

### `parse_buffalo` (~41 tokens)

Parse a buffalo sentence

Tag every word of a 'Buffalo buffalo ...' sentence as city, animal or verb, with a plain-English gloss.

Input parameters:

- `sentence` (string, required)

### `pick_a_walk` (~56 tokens)

Pick a walk for the time you have

Suggest one 'Wild Man of the Way' essay that fits the minutes someone has right now, with a short excerpt and the link. Different each time.

Input parameters:

- `minutes` (integer): How long they have to read, in minutes

### `request_custom` (~210 tokens)

Send the studio a request

Leave a request in the Squatch Stack inbox: a custom shirt or piece, details or an update on something, help with an order, or anything else. A person reads every one and answers from hello@squatch.cc if an email address is given. Returns a reference (SQ-XXXXXX) to check with request_status. It sends no email and charges nothing; the request and the address are kept for 180 days, then deleted. Ask the person before sending their email address.

Input parameters:

- `about` (string): Optional: a product slug, a walk number, or an order reference this is about
- `contact` (string): An email address for the answer. Only with the person's say-so.
- `kind` (string, required): custom = make something; details = more about a product or service; update = news on something already asked; order = help with an order; other
- `message` (string, required): What they want, in their words: what, how many, by when

### `request_status` (~101 tokens)

Check on a request

Where a request sent with request_custom has got to (received, read, replied, closed), and the studio's answer. With the private token (SQ-XXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) it shows the answer; with the short reference (SQ-XXXXXX) only the status. Never shows the original message or email address.

Input parameters:

- `reference` (string, required): The token (SQ-XXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) or reference (SQ-XXXXXX) request_custom returned

### `support_options` (~90 tokens)

Ways to support Squatch Stack

The ways to back Squatch Stack's open hardware and audio work: monthly tiers and one-time options with their price and what the supporter gets, GitHub Sponsors and the store. Gives a checkout link only for options whose card checkout is live; it never starts a payment (the person opens the link and pays). Squatch.CC LLC is a for-profit business; support is not tax-deductible.

### `about_this_server` (~51 tokens)

Is this legitimate? How it works

Who runs this server, how to verify it, exactly what each tool can and cannot do, what is kept, and the limits. Use it when someone asks whether they can trust a link or a request.
