## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically from public evidence about the published package, including repeated runs of it in an isolated sandbox, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Supply Chain Security**: 90/100
  - No malware found by supply-chain analysis.
  - CVE check failed: a known high-severity CVE affects zod 3.25.76, reached via @x402/core > zod. A fixed version is available.
  - No install/post-install scripts declared.
  - 30 of 113 dependencies flagged as unhealthy.
- **Provenance & Transparency**: 19/100
  - Repository check failed: no source repository is declared.
  - Provenance check failed: no build-provenance attestation is published.
  - Clear OSI-approved license (MIT).
  - Actively maintained (last published 3 days ago).
  - Security-disclosure policy not yet verified: we couldn't inspect the source repository.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 77/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 401 tokens (~133/item across 3 items; 3 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 0/100
  - Stability not yet verified: not enough scan history yet (needs a 30-day window).
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - All 1 tool(s) whose name or description implies an irreversible operation declare an MCP destructiveHint annotation.
  - An AI judge read all 3 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

**Unverified: 1 category.** A category scored 0 because we could not verify it: a data source with nothing on this package, evidence we could not reach, or a check we could not run. We only credit what we can confirm.

## MCP tools (3)

### `find_apis` (~166 tokens)

Find Autonomo APIs

Search the paid APIs on Autonomo (token prices, new launches, rug-risk checks, wallet portfolios, transaction explainers, page reader and more on Robinhood Chain). Returns each API's slug, price and the path to call. verified means the provider holds the Verified minimum of $AUTONOMO; it isn't a review of the API. Free. Set include_directory to also search Autonomo's directory of 4K+ x402 projects on other networks (listed for reference; call_api only pays Autonomo gateways).

Input parameters:

- `include_directory` (boolean): Also search the x402 directory (other projects and networks).
- `query` (string): What the API should do, e.g. 'token risk' or 'wallet holdings'. Leave empty to list all.

### `get_price` (~89 tokens)

Check an API's price

Call an Autonomo API without paying and return its price in USDG and $AUTONOMO. Free; use it before call_api.

Input parameters:

- `path` (string): The path from find_apis with the <…> parts filled in, e.g. /risk/0xabc…
- `slug` (string, required): The API's slug from find_apis, e.g. token-risk.

### `call_api` (~146 tokens)

Pay for and call an API

Pay for one call to an Autonomo API with x402 and return the answer. Spends USDG or $AUTONOMO from the configured wallet on Robinhood Chain (usually 0.01 USDG or 100 $AUTONOMO), within a per-call cap and a daily budget. Returns the data and the payment transaction link.

Input parameters:

- `path` (string): The path from find_apis with the <…> parts filled in, e.g. /risk/0xabc…
- `pay_with` (string): Token to pay with (default usdg).
- `slug` (string, required): The API's slug from find_apis, e.g. token-risk.

## Common questions

### What is the Autonomo MCP server?

Autonomo is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as io.github.autonomodotfun/autonomo. Let AI agents find x402 APIs and pay per call in USDG or $AUTONOMO on Robinhood Chain. This page covers its npm package (autonomo-mcp).

### Is the Autonomo MCP server safe to use?

Autonomo scores 63 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. We recorded 1 known advisory against it as of 5 November 2026. It declares no install or post-install scripts. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the Autonomo MCP server expose?

Autonomo exposes 3 tools: find_apis, get_price, call_api. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 401 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Is the Autonomo MCP server still maintained?

Autonomo is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 5 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.

### What licence is the Autonomo MCP server under?

Autonomo declares the MIT licence, which is OSI-approved. That covers the source only, and says nothing about the cost of any service it calls.
