## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 80/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 67/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1101 tokens (~183/item across 6 items; 6 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 97/100
  - Stability observed for 29 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 94/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 83% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 6 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 7 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 60/100
  - Spec-recency check failed: implements MCP spec 2025-06-18; the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (6)

### `check_contract_free` (~92 tokens)

Free check of a Base contract

Free, no wallet. Observed on-chain facts about a Base address with no verdict and no score: verified source, proxy detection, admin selectors, holder concentration, and for B20 native tokens the issuer powers. Rate limited; a monthly quota applies.

Input parameters:

- `address` (string, required): Contract or B20 token address on Base mainnet (eip155:8453), 0x + 40 hex.

### `flash_audit_terms` (~63 tokens)

Flash Report payment terms (x402)

Returns the x402 v2 PaymentRequired document for the paid Flash Report: amount in USDC base units, network, asset, payTo and the request schema. Free. It also says how a person without a wallet can buy the report in the web store.

### `buy_flash_audit` (~185 tokens)

Buy a Flash Report (paid, x402)

Paid over x402 in USDC on Base. Without a payment in _meta["x402/payment"] it returns the PaymentRequired document (isError), followed by how a person without a wallet can buy the same report in the web store. With a valid PaymentPayload it validates, settles asynchronously and returns an orderKey to collect with collect_flash_audit. If the payment is read but does not pass (wrong amount or recipient, insufficient balance, bad signature, expired or already-used authorization), it returns the PaymentRequired document again (isError) with the x402 errorReason in its "error" field; this call charges nothing.

Input parameters:

- `language` (string): Report language. Defaults to "en".
- `targetAddress` (string, required): Contract or B20 token address on Base mainnet (eip155:8453), 0x + 40 hex.

### `collect_flash_audit` (~50 tokens)

Collect a Flash Report order

Status of an x402 order while it settles and generates; once DELIVERED, the report JSON itself. Poll every 10-15 seconds. Free.

Input parameters:

- `orderKey` (string, required)

### `contract_data_catalog` (~62 tokens)

What single facts are for sale, and at what price

Free, no wallet. Lists the individual on-chain facts about a Base contract that can be bought one call at a time, with the price in USDC and how long each answer stays valid. Read this before paying: the bundle costs less than buying the parts.

### `buy_contract_data` (~268 tokens)

Buy one on-chain fact about a Base contract

Paid over x402 in USDC on Base, from 0.0049 per call. Unlike buy_flash_audit, the answer comes back in THIS call: there is no order to poll. A first read of an address can take up to 60s: keep the connection open. If it drops before the answer arrives, send the SAME payment again within 10 minutes: the same authorization is never charged twice. Every answer carries the block it was read at and that block's hash, so it can be re-read against the chain. Call contract_data_catalog first for the list and prices. Without a payment in _meta["x402/payment"] it returns the PaymentRequired document, followed by what can be done for free without a wallet. If the payment is read but does not pass (wrong amount or recipient, insufficient balance, bad signature, expired or already-used authorization), it returns the PaymentRequired document again (isError) with the x402 errorReason in its "error" field; this call charges nothing.

Input parameters:

- `product` (string, required): Which fact to buy. See the catalog tool.
- `targetAddress` (string): Contract or token address on Base mainnet (eip155:8453). Required for every product whose catalog entry says needsTargetAddress=true.

io.github.AutomatonColony/automaton-colony is an MCP server listed in the public MCP registry as io.github.AutomatonColony/automaton-colony. Screen Base smart contracts and B20 tokens: free on-chain check, paid Flash Audit over x402 (USDC). This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://colony.automatoncolony.xyz/mcp).

### Is the io.github.AutomatonColony/automaton-colony MCP server safe to use?

io.github.AutomatonColony/automaton-colony scores 84 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the io.github.AutomatonColony/automaton-colony MCP server expose?

io.github.AutomatonColony/automaton-colony exposes 6 tools: check_contract_free, flash_audit_terms, buy_flash_audit, collect_flash_audit, contract_data_catalog, buy_contract_data. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 720 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Does the io.github.AutomatonColony/automaton-colony MCP server require authentication?

No. We connected to io.github.AutomatonColony/automaton-colony without credentials and it answered, so anything it exposes is reachable by anyone who knows the address.

### Is the io.github.AutomatonColony/automaton-colony MCP server still maintained?
