## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 80/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 68/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (excellent).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 725 tokens (~181/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 57/100
  - Stability observed for 17 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
  - Structured output schemas are declared (100% of tools); any adoption earns full credit.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 4 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 5 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a current MCP spec version (2026-07-28).

## MCP tools (4)

### `search_figures` (~194 tokens)

Search figures

Start here, before get_figure, to find selected figures in Australian retirement rules: rates, amounts, caps, thresholds, ages, periods and dates for the Age Pension and its means tests, superannuation and the Division 293 and 296 taxes, deeming, the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card, aged care and the Home Equity Access Scheme. Searches by keyword, category or both, and returns each match's id and current value. Each current value has an official source, the date it applies from and the date it was last checked; get_figure returns them.

Input parameters:

- `category` (string): A category id from list_categories, such as aged_care.
- `limit` (integer): The most results to return. Default 10, maximum 50.
- `query` (string): Words to look for, such as "concessional cap" or "deeming rate". Up to 100 characters.

Output parameters:

- `category` (string|null)
- `count` (number)
- `data_hash` (string)
- `data_release` (number): The number of the data release these values come from.
- `note` (string|null)
- `query` (string|null)
- `results` (array)
- `scope` (string): What this site does and does not provide.
- `total` (number): How many items matched.
- `truncated` (boolean): True when there are more items than this result holds.

### `get_figure` (~186 tokens)

Get a figure

Gets one Australian retirement figure by an id from search_figures. Returns the value recorded for a date (as_at, or today in Sydney), the date it applies from and what that date means, conditions, exceptions, the official source by name, the date last checked and a citation of the figure's Retirement Wealth page. Values set by law but not yet in force are listed under upcoming. No value is returned for a date before the earliest recorded value, after today, or from the start of a value set by law not yet confirmed in force.

Input parameters:

- `as_at` (string): A date, as YYYY-MM-DD. Leave it out for today's date in Sydney.
- `id` (string, required): The figure id, such as concessional_cap. search_figures returns ids.
- `include_history` (boolean): Also return the earlier recorded values, newest first. Default false.

Output parameters:

- `applies_by`
- `as_at` (string): The date the value was looked up for.
- `category` (string)
- `category_label` (string)
- `caveats` (array)
- `citation` (object): The figure's Retirement Wealth page, as an address and a title.
- `cite_as` (string|null): A citation line: the value, its date, the official source by name, the date it was last checked and the figure's Retirement Wealth page.
- `concept` (string)
- `conditions` (array)
- `data_hash` (string)
- `data_release` (number): The number of the data release these values come from.

- `display_value` (string|null)
- `earliest_recorded` (string|null): The earliest date for which a value of this figure is held.
- `effective_from` (string|null): The date the value applies from. effective_from_basis says what the date means.
- `effective_from_basis` (string|null): value: the day this value started. provision: the day the current rule started; the number itself is older. as_at: a day the official source shows the value in force; the day it started is not record…
- `effective_to` (string|null): The last day the value applies: the day before the next recorded value starts. Null when no later value is recorded, or when the end is not recorded.
- `exceptions` (array): Exceptions. One marked modelled: false is not built into any calculation on this site.
- `former_id` (string|null): Set when the id asked for is an earlier id of this figure.
- `history` (array): Recorded values, newest first.
- `history_note` (string|null)
- `history_total` (number)
- `history_truncated` (boolean): True when history was cut short to keep the response small.

- `recorded` (boolean): True when a value is recorded for as_at. False when it is not: the value fields are then null and note says why.
- `resets` (string)
- `review_dates` (array)
- `review_due` (object): due: true when the figure's first scheduled review day after it was last checked (from) is on or before as_at, today in Sydney: the figure has not been checked against its source since that review. n…

- `source`: The official source, by publisher and title. Its address is on the figure's Retirement Wealth page.
- `status` (string|null): in_force: the registry's current value. superseded: an earlier value.
- `today` (string): Today's date in Sydney when the request was answered.
- `unit` (object)
- `upcoming` (array): Values set by law that are not the current value here: for a later date, or not yet confirmed in force.
- `value` (number|null)
- `value_notes` (string|null)
- `verification`: How the value was verified and the date it was last checked against its source.

### `list_changes` (~172 tokens)

- `limit` (integer): The most changes to return. Default 25, maximum 100.

Output parameters:

- `changes` (string)
- `count` (number)
- `data_hash` (string)
- `data_release` (number): The number of the data release these values come from.

- `truncated` (boolean): True when there are more items than this result holds.
- `types`

Shows which areas of Australian retirement rules the figures cover: the categories, such as Age Pension, super caps and aged care, with each one's id for search_figures and its number of figures. Also returns the data release, the newest and the oldest date on which a figure was last checked against its source, the scope statement, and links to the documentation and the JSON files.

Output parameters:

- `categories` (array)
- `count` (number)
- `data_hash` (string)
- `data_release` (number): The number of the data release these values come from.
- `data_updated` (string|null)
