## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 80/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 76/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Tool/resource definitions use about 391 tokens (~97/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), lean.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 73/100
  - Stability observed for 22 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 100/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 100% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 4 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 4 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (4)

### `find_kavel_tool` (~125 tokens)

Find a Kavel AI photo or video effect

Search Kavel's AI photo and video effects (hairstyle changer, figurine, pet portrait, yearbook photo, trend dance videos and more). Returns each tool's slug, what it needs (a photo or just text) and its page on kavel.ai. Image tools can be run here with generate_kavel_image; video tools open on kavel.ai.

Input parameters:

- `hub` (string): Only image or only video tools.
- `query` (string): What the user wants, e.g. 'make my dog look royal' or 'dancing video'.

### `generate_kavel_image` (~206 tokens)

Generate or edit an image with Kavel

Create an image from a prompt, or edit the user's photo, on their Kavel account. Pass `tool` (a slug from find_kavel_tool) to apply that effect's tuned recipe, with `prompt` holding the user's own details. Photo tools need a photo: the user's attachment in `photos`, or a public link in `image_urls`. Spends credits from the linked Kavel account. Usually returns the image within a minute; otherwise returns a task_id for check_kavel_generation.

Input parameters:

- `aspect_ratio` (string): Output image shape. Defaults to 1:1.
- `image_urls` (array): Photos to edit given as public http(s) links, when not attached.
- `photos` (array): Photos the user attached in the chat. Required by photo tools.
- `prompt` (string): The user's description, or their extra details when a tool is given.
- `tool` (string): Optional image tool slug from find_kavel_tool.

### `check_kavel_generation` (~38 tokens)

Check a Kavel generation

Get the result of a Kavel generation that was still rendering.

Input parameters:

- `task_id` (string, required): task_id from generate_kavel_image.

### `get_kavel_balance` (~22 tokens)

Kavel credit balance

How many credits are left on the linked Kavel account.

ai.kavel/kavel-mcp is listed in the public MCP registry as ai.kavel/kavel-mcp. Discover Kavel's AI photo/video generators, get tuned prompts, and open the right tool on kavel.ai. This page covers its hosted endpoint (https://www.kavel.ai/api/mcp).

### Is the ai.kavel/kavel-mcp server safe to use?

ai.kavel/kavel-mcp scores 84 out of 100 on VerifyMCP. That is a record of what we were able to check automatically, not an endorsement. The category breakdown on this page shows every signal behind the number, including the ones we could not confirm.

### What tools does the ai.kavel/kavel-mcp server expose?

ai.kavel/kavel-mcp exposes 4 tools: find_kavel_tool, generate_kavel_image, check_kavel_generation, get_kavel_balance. Their descriptions and schemas cost roughly 391 tokens of context every time the server is loaded.

### Does the ai.kavel/kavel-mcp server require authentication?

No. We connected to ai.kavel/kavel-mcp without credentials and it answered, so anything it exposes is reachable by anyone who knows the address.

### Is the ai.kavel/kavel-mcp server still maintained?

ai.kavel/kavel-mcp is still listed as active in the MCP registry. We last reached this channel on 5 November 2026. Those dates come from our own scans of the registry and the channel itself, not from anything the publisher announced.
