## Trust breakdown

How this component scores in each security and reliability category. Every signal is checked automatically against the live server, and we only credit what we can confirm. Scores are 0–100 per category. Scoring method: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring (what has changed: https://verifymcp.io/docs/scoring/changelog)

Scored 2026-11-05.

- **Endpoint Security**: 80/100
  - The endpoint's TLS certificate is valid, in date, and uses a strong key.
  - No authorisation is required to call this server. Every tool declares its destructiveHint and none is destructive, so open access doesn't expose one.
  - HTTPS is enforced; there's no plaintext access path.
  - The HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security) header is present.
  - DNSSEC check failed: this domain isn't protected by DNSSEC.
- **Transport & Reachability**: 100/100
  - Verified streamable-http transport via a live MCP handshake.
- **Schema Quality & AI Usability**: 59/100
  - AI-judged instruction clarity (good).
  - Context-footprint check failed: tool/resource definitions use about 1128 tokens (~282/item across 4 items; 4 tools + 0 resources), over budget; trim descriptions and params.
  - Usage-examples check failed: none of the tools include examples.
- **Stability & Change Management**: 60/100
  - Stability observed for 18 of 30 days with no destabilising changes; credit accrues until the full window elapses.
- **Tool Coverage**: 97/100
  - 100% of tools have a non-trivial description (not blank, and not just the tool's name).
  - 92% of tool parameters carry a description.
- **Tool Safety**: 100/100
  - No prompt-injection markers were found in the server instructions, tool names or descriptions we captured.
  - We read all 4 captured tool definition(s), and no name or description among them implies an irreversible operation.
  - An AI judge read all 5 captured unit(s) of tool text and found none that tries to manipulate the model reading it.
- **Capabilities**: 100/100
  - Implements a supported MCP spec version (2025-11-25); the latest is 2026-07-28.

## MCP tools (4)

### `build_insurance_requirements` (~596 tokens)

Build contract insurance requirements

Recommends the insurance a general contractor should require of a subcontractor, or a property manager or HOA of a vendor: general liability, auto, umbrella and workers' comp limits, additional insured, waiver of subrogation and primary/non-contributory wording, scaled to the trade's risk and the contract size. Returns the reasoning for each limit, contract-ready exhibit text, and a requirements object that check_certificate accepts.

Input parameters:

- `cancellationNoticeDays` (integer): Days of written notice before cancellation. 0 = as the policy provides.
- `context` (string, required): "gc" = a contractor hiring a subcontractor; "property" = a property manager or HOA hiring a service vendor.
- `contractSize` (string, required): Contract value band. For "gc": under-50k, 50k-250k, 250k-1m, over-1m. For "property": under-10k, 10k-50k, 50k-250k, over-250k. A band from the other context is mapped to the smallest valid one.
- `hasEmployees` (boolean): false for a sole proprietor with no employees: workers' comp is replaced by a signed exemption declaration.
- `overrides` (object): Optional dollar limits that replace the recommended ones, for lines that are already required.
- `trade` (string, required): The vendor's trade, and the contexts it is offered in: "general" = General / multi-trade (gc); "carpentry" = Carpentry / framing (gc); "concrete" = Concrete / masonry (gc); "drywall" = Drywall / plas…
- `usesVehicles` (boolean): Drives to or around the site. false drops commercial auto.

### `check_certificate` (~290 tokens)

Check a certificate of insurance

Checks a certificate of insurance (ACORD 25) against insurance requirements with CertifiKit's deterministic rules engine: coverage present, limits at or above the minimums, policies not expired or expiring too soon, and the required endorsements. Read the certificate yourself and pass what it shows; the verdict (pass, fail or needs_review) and a plain-English reason per requirement come from fixed rules, not a model. Anything unreported, unreadable or below 0.7 confidence is routed to needs_review, never silently passed. Use preset or the requirements object from build_insurance_requirements.

Input parameters:

- `asOf` (string): Date to check expiry against, yyyy-mm-dd. Defaults to today.
- `certificate` (object, required): What the certificate shows. Report only what is printed; do not infer. Leave out rows the certificate does not have.
- `preset` (string): "standard-subcontractor" = Typical GC requirements for a trade sub: GL $1M/$2M, auto $1M, workers' comp $1M, additional insured + waiver of subrogation. "property-vendor" = Common requirements for se…
- `requirements` (object): Custom requirements, e.g. the requirements object returned by build_insurance_requirements. Takes precedence over preset.

### `list_requirement_presets` (~42 tokens)

List requirement presets

The ready-made insurance requirement sets check_certificate accepts as preset: a standard construction subcontractor and a property / HOA vendor, with every limit and endorsement spelled out.

### `find_coi_guides` (~93 tokens)

Find certificate of insurance guides

Searches CertifiKit's plain-English guides on certificates of insurance: reading an ACORD 25, additional insured endorsements (CG 20 10), waiver of subrogation, subcontractor and HOA vendor insurance requirements, COI tracking. Returns titles, summaries and links to cite. Leave query empty to list the newest.

Input parameters:

- `limit` (integer)
- `query` (string): Topic or question.
