### `search_products` (~196 tokens)

Search products across all connected Australian retailers. Returns matched products with current pricing, availability, and delivery estimates. Use this as the entry point for any price-discovery query.

Input parameters:

- `category_hint` (string): Category narrowing hint, e.g. "tools/hand-tools"
- `delivery_by` (string): ISO date by which the product must be delivered
- `in_stock_only` (boolean): Exclude out-of-stock offers (default true)
- `location_postcode` (string): AU postcode for delivery-time estimation
- `max_price_aud` (number): Maximum total price including shipping, in AUD
- `max_results` (integer): Max results to return (default 10)
- `min_price_aud` (number): Minimum total price filter (useful to exclude scam-priced outliers)
- `query` (string, required): Natural language query, e.g. "15mm bent socket wrench in Melbourne with 2-day delivery"

### `compare_product` (~116 tokens)

Get all retailer offers for a specific product. Use after search_products when the user wants to compare prices across all retailers for a known item.

Input parameters:

- `gtin` (string): Alternative lookup by GTIN if product_id not known
- `include_shipping` (boolean): Include shipping cost in returned total (default true)
- `location_postcode` (string): AU postcode for delivery estimation
- `product_id` (string, required): Canonical product ID returned by search_products
- `sort_by` (string): Sort order for the returned offer list

### `get_price_history` (~88 tokens)

Returns price history for a product across retailers over the past 365 days. Use to evaluate whether current pricing represents a genuine deal versus business-as-usual.

Input parameters:

- `days` (integer): Trailing days of history (default 90, max 365)
- `product_id` (string, required): Canonical product ID
- `retailers` (array): Optional filter — only include these retailer slugs

### `check_availability` (~85 tokens)

Real-time stock check at a specific retailer for a specific product, including click-and-collect availability at the nearest store to a postcode (where supported).

Input parameters:

- `postcode` (string): AU postcode for click-and-collect availability
- `product_id` (string, required): Canonical product ID
- `retailer_id` (string, required): Specific retailer slug (e.g. "ebay-au")

### `list_retailers` (~74 tokens)

List all retailers indexed by Gridscoot. Useful for meta queries ("which retailers do you cover?") and for filtering other tool calls.

Input parameters:

- `category` (string): Filter to retailers indexed for this category
- `country` (string): Country filter (AU at MVS; NZ from Phase 2+)

### `track_price` (~105 tokens)

Subscribe to price-drop alerts for a product. Returns a subscription ID. The user receives email when the threshold is met.

Input parameters:

- `product_id` (string, required): Canonical product ID to track
- `retailers` (array): Track only at these retailers (default: all)
- `target_price_aud` (number): Notify when total price (incl. shipping) drops to this AUD value or below
- `user_token` (string, required): User token (from /account/keys signup)
